I purchased two of these bags for an 18 day trip to India. I had (3) flight transfers each way on my trip. My only concern with these bags were if the soft sided version would hold up to international travel. They not only held up but basically look brand new still! One of the main features above the ruggedness of the material was the build quality of the retractable handle. The feel is super solid (110L fully loaded with 50lbs+) and never had any issue with the mechanical parts working to collapse/extend the handle. I also purchased the smaller roller carry-on bag which was similarly great in performing. I justified the cost since Eagle Creek offers a lifetime warranty with each bag,

This was fantastic four our 3-week trip in Europe. Being lightweight it allowed for each of us to pack a little extra that we needed for such a long time without being over weight for checked baggage. It also handled well rolling over cobble and rough roads when going to/from airports and train stations. Finally, and surprisingly, even fully loaded (and I’m talking to the max it would hold) the bag was sturdy and stood upright no problem...one of my peeves with wheeled duffels is many tend to tip over and don’t stand upright. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get a lightweight bag that can hold a ton of stuff for a long journey...alternatively I expect the smaller wheeled duffel

Eagle Creek travel bags are the only bags I use. For the two times repairs were needed after heavy international use by me and my two adult children, they were repaired free of charge. Wednesday I fly again with four of their gear warrior bags, a carry on internationl gear warrior, a 60 L and two 110 L gear warrior 2 wheel rollers. Each of the 110 L GW bags contains a massive “bricked” Starboat mainsail and other sailboat racing gear. The 60 L bag has tools for the boat and two weeks worth of winter and summer sailboat racing gear we used in European and World Championships over the past month in Italy.

Needed this for 2-3 week trips for hiking, horseback riding. Works really well with Eagle Creek packing folders and cubes, and accommodates jackets, boots and hiking poles too. When filled for 3-week trip, weighs about 45 lb, so watch out with heavy contents to avoid extra baggage charges. A slightly smaller previous version has held up well with several trips per year in US and UK, even with lots of checking on airlines. Lifetime warranty with Eagle Creek can't be beat, we always get repairs or replacement within 10-14 days. REI will handle free warranty shipping for you!

This is my second one. My first one was a 22 inch. Beat the hell out of it for two years. Heavy equipment every day (at least 30 to 50 lbs). Up on the sidewalks and slam onto the street. The zippers gave out first then the wheels.I showed this bag no mercy for two years.Worth every penny. As long as they keep making them like this I will keep buying them.It's a great bag. If your looking for something tough, you found it. I have spent lots of money on cheap wheeled bags. You will be happy with this one.

I have no used this bag yet, however I own two other Eagle Creek wheeled duffel bags. I travel extensively to foreign countries and have returned the other two bags for minor repairs and received the repaired luggage in a timely manner and repaired as requested. I purchased this latest version Eagle Creek wheeled duffel bag to try a slightly different design. I feel comfortable knowing my personal items are in good hands when I travel. I highly recommend Eagle Creek items to real travelers.

We already own the 95L version and are very happy with it so having noted the price that bergzeit were offering the larger version we snapped up the opportunity. Due to Covid we have not been able to use it but, we are sure that it will serve us well. We like the way it protects the contents and of course the eagle creek packing system copied by many others fits just perfectly. This is an excellent robust bag well suited for travel away from the madding crowd.

Loved this. Bought it for my trip to Italy. Very lightweight and it rolled easily on the cobblestone streets of Italy. Loved the heavy duty large wheels. Didn’t have to worry about them breaking on the uneven pavers or going up the steps or bridges of Venice. Lots of handles made it convenient to grab. Seemed very well made.

Gave it to my son as a way to make sure he had all his stuff on deployment. Make sure you check the dimensions at your airlines because this one is on the edge of too big to check. I did not realize it until he had it packed and was ready to go. Luckily some airlines let military folks slide a bit on some of the rules.

We'll constructed, can hold two full weeks' clothing load plus shoes and coat.However, this model is missing features found on Gear Warrior 26 and 29 models. No too end pocket to hold small items. Also, end is not sealed where handle extends from suitcase body.

Great suitcase. Time will tell how it handles the unfortunate events associated with it being in the hands of the airlines luggage personnel. The metal or hard plastic suitcases get damaged instantly the first time you are forced to not keep it in the cabin.

This is a great size for most holidays and my walking poles fitted inside. Rolls nicely and stands well.Only downside is the weight but it is strong and tough and should withstand mauling by the baggage handlers for a few years.

Excellent large suitcase. The only thing I would change is making the front compression clips a bit beefier, but hey, they haven’t broken yet, and the Eagle Creek warranty will cover it if they ever do.

Perfect carry on. The bag itself is well made and sturdy, and has fared well through several airports and trips so far. It holds a lot more than I expected, and I really like the color.

Lightweight plenty of room for clothes toiletries and other stuff wheels roll smoothly and the handles are the perfect height awesome buy for the money
