Purchased this bag for my first trip abroad because of solid positive reviews on Consumer Reports. It performed okay on the trip to Iceland. However I was very disappointed that the strap in the top zipped pouch was ripped off on one side when I reached Iceland. I had zipped the pocket closed but it obviously had been opened during baggage handling.For the trip back, I tied the strap end down and zipped the pocket before checking the bag. When I picked up the bag, the pocket had been opened again. Assume this was done by baggage handling but don't know why since the bag has many outside handles.I will be using the warranty because of the ripped strap.
