While I have only just received my Tarmac 29, first impressions are good. Seems sturdy and well made with attention to detail. Zippers seem strong and open and close well. Wheels are strong and well protected. This is a good size for an extended international trip of say 4 to 6 weeks. I also bought the Tarmac 26 for shorter domestic trips. Only minor suggestion is that there could be more internal pockets for minor bits and pieces, but in any case an Eagle Creek Sac would fill the same purpose.12 Month Update - Have just been around the world with this and it performed above expectation. It still looks like new. Bag is robust, zippers are robust and move easily. I carried about 26kg on this trip,

I purchased this suitcase after being extremely satisfied with the 22" carry-on version of this bag. The suitcase is incredibly lightweight for its size, and it weighs less than 10 pounds. The fabric seems like it will be very durable. All of the exterior compartment zippers are a sturdy puncture resistant design. All possible wear points are reinforced with heavy duty fabric, corner bumpers, or a black rubber like material. The telescoping handle is sturdy and smooth. The wheels are also well protected. The wheels are large, roll easy, and should be able to handle any terrain. The pockets are well thought out and provide a degree of organization. The bag has a coat keeper and built in add a bag strap.

I travel with lots of diving and camera equipment. This piece is for checked luggage, and protects the contents perfectly. It is a sweet roller case, so when picking it up in the airport getting out is a breeze. The zippers are tough and the compartments are perfect for separating your gear. A very useful and durable piece of travel equipment extended trips of great distance from home.

I thought the product was well made. I returned it because it was bigger than I needed.Even though I had the size specs, I needed to see the bag, to get a better sense of whether it was the right size for me.I found it to be too big for my intended use and returned it.Return was was easy through Amazon.

Eagle Creek is just the best. Have the same suitcase from a few years ago and need to travel with two. They took a great piece of luggage and improved it! Large top,pocket opens wider for easier access. Eagle Creek stands behind their products and will repair or replace depending on the extent of damage.

I liked the fact that as hard as baggage handlers tried to break the wheels off they were unsuccessful. We used this for a British Isles cruise and saw some rough handling from different sources but all parts remained in place for the duration. Great luggage and warranty.

Replacement for an Eagle Creek bag I have been using for over 16 years - the zipper gave out on the old one - this one has a few less sections - but because of it's light weight you can carry more

Used it twice already and is everything that was advertised. Light but sturdy and rollers are the best part.

I like it so far, have done 2 trips with it and it is doing well. Wish the sides were a bit stiffer.
