Before my kitchen extension 3 years ago I put all my rubbish in plastic bags and put them straight into the outside bin because I hated rubbish bins in the kitchen. In friends houses they seem always to be over-flowing and unpleasant. However after the extension was built the outside bin was not just as accessible so I tried to find another option. This bin (plus lid) has worked very well for 3 years. It has quite a large capacity so when lm removing the liner every 2 days (normally) it still is only 3/4 full, easily tied and nothing falls out or drops down. Being plastic it is easily wiped down, there is nothing to rust and its rectangular shape fits well against the sink unit.

Good bin - good size for recycling. Pretty nice design.And if you get those recycling bags with the 4 tabs on them (used for tying up the bag) you can actually tie a knot in each of the tabs, and slot the knots into the cut-outs on each of the 4 outside corners of the bin.This means the bag stays in place nicely even without a lid (lids are a hassle with recycling bins). Also, note that this bin doesn't come with one.One thing to note - when mine arrived it was dirty. Really dirty. Covered in fine grey dust streaks. Not that it had been used, just that it looked like it had been in a warehouse for years with no plastic bag over it.

I Bought this bin for putting my recyclable stuff in, its 60 litre capacity means I don`t have to constantly empty it. I can probably downsize my kitchen bin now as there is less waste going into it too which is good as I have a small kitchen. The main reasons I bought this particular bin is that it`s 60 litres and is shaped perfectly so that it fits in my meter cupboard in the hall. Also the price was good at £25.

I bought this as an indoor recycling bin and it's perfect means I do not need to keep running down stairs to the outside bin every day now as we live in a flat and was using a carrier bag.

We have this in the kitchen to put our recycling in. It fits perfectly in the space that it was intended for & what more can I say - it's a bin. It holds rubbish & does a good job.

Great for collecting recycling in garage before taking to main bin. Just what I wanted and seems nice and strong and is easy to carry with built in handles.

However no regrets, as I have regained full access to my narrow galley kitchen,and could be winning the war against a weeks worth of supermarket wrappings.
