When I bought a Diplomat traveller fountain pen from another company, I was very disappointed that it didn't have a converter in it. The company I bought it from could only offer a Pelikan converter, which they said would fit. I didn't find it so and returned it and was very surprised to find that Amazon had it, via another pen company. When the converter arrived, it did fit the pen, and has a screw action invented by Archimedes. For someone who likes to use high quality purple, sepia or deep green inks, you need a good fountain pen to give the best results. This means the filling action is essentialSo yes, I am pleased with my purchase, but was very disappointed with Diplomat which only gives you a cartridge with their pen.

I've tried a few converters for my Pilot MR2 with little luck. Most were too loose, one kinda fit but the opening split slightly and that eventually led to it leaking EVERYWHERE.The Diplomat converter is definitely a snug fit, but shows no sign of splitting so far. After getting it kind of on the nipple I reattached the body of the pen and it pushed the converter the rest of the way home.Really pleased to know this works as I have another Pilot MR2 on the way and I'm quite taken with being able to pick my own vibrant colours of ink!

Diplomat - high quality German pen manufacturer - and the converter does not disappoint. Allows greater versatility when using bottled inks. Should you choose to you can always revert to international standard cartridges

I have a Diplomat pen. They are supposed to accept standard converters, but mine did not. This converter does fit and is of good quality construction.

Best standard international converter on the market in my opinion.I have a large collection of fountain pens and use many converters.
