Have been living with this case for a few months now and I'm impressed. The OtterBox bar for quality has always been high in my experience and this case is no exception. When I bought an iPhone X I started with Apple's official case, but had barely had it a year before the silicone finish began to chip and peel away, exposing the hard plastic. I also never felt that this case adequately protected my phone and £40 was very expensive, particularly since it lasted barely a year. Thankfully Apple gave me a refund and this time I went to OtterBox instead. The case snaps on to the phone quickly and easily and provides access to all speakers, microphones, buttons and ports.I haven't had an issue with plugging accessories into the lightning port – the case provides some additional space around the port (around 2mm to front and 4mm to back and sides) but wouldn't accommodate chunkier cables or accessories. I use the case with a Belkin wireless charging pad overnight and it works flawlessly through the case.I've seen no marks or signs or wear and tear so far, and the case is pleasant to hold and use. The back is a hard textured plastic and the front is a very hard silicon with barely any flex – nice and study. There's space around the camera on the back which makes the case suitable for both iPhone X and XS I believe. The silicon at the top or the front is also sheared away slightly to avoid interference with the camera and Face ID sensors in the notch.Overall, the case is of a high quality and fit-for-purpose, which is what I'd expect from OtterBox. If you're serious about protecting your iPhone (which you should be given its cost) I wouldn't hesitate to go for this case or this brand.

This was purchased for my wife who has been within the Apple Eco system for well over a decade but the worst part about owning such expensive and somewhat fragile devices is the option on how you protect it!This usually falls into two camps. One where you get the freshest on point 'living my best life' case that looks the dogs but is about as protective as wrapping it in tin foil and casting a spell of protection while hoping for the best. Or you get a case that can withstand a nuclear blast but looks so repulsive that your phone spends the majority of its time shaded from public view. I have always loved OtterBox since using one of their cases for my work phone and this has spilled over into my personal space,my wife saw this on Amazon and gave it a try and has absolutely loved how stylish it looks, it doesn't add too much bulk to the phone. It makes one of the most droppable iPhone extremely grippy to hold and while we are on the subject you feel like you could throw this off a bridge and it would land unscathed. This case has been put through its paces being in possession of a busy and active mom of three and apart from a small scuff on the top of the case the phone still looks immaculate. You could do a lot worse than getting this but i would challenge you to do better with the price point!

Before buying this case, I had tried rubber cases; plastic cases and most recently used the Apple leather iPhone case, which had good grip and was thin. However, several drops (and screen replacements) later and I figured that the Apple case simply stopped the phone from getting scratched and did little to prevent drop-related damage. That prompted me to get this Otterbox case. It's a simple idea, that works well. The main case is tough polycarbonate, and the outer edges are soft rubber, so it combines strength with a good grip. I've dropped my phone once from a desk onto a tiled floor since getting it, and there was absolutely no damage to my phone or screen. Some reviewers have commented that the rubber and polycarbonate have come apart.I've had this case for around 2 months, and it's showing no signs of splitting so far.I've got an iPhone 6, so I still use wired headphones; the right angle headphone connector fits with no problem. I've also traveled recently and had to switch the SIM card out a couple of times; the case pops off easily, yet feels like a snug fit the rest of the time. The case does make the phone a little bulkier, but not to a point where it's a problem.I would definitely buy again.

I have an iPhone XS Max.Without a case it is just too slippy to handle. I wanted an easy to find, very visible case ( bright colour -yellow) and one that was very sure to grip- ie not slippy. It also must offer a degree of protection, this Otterbox is very substantial but all the buttons operate with ease. However, the case must also be smooth enough to slip into a pocket with ease but not too slippy to fall out of my hands. I usually have to apply sandpaper to the case edges for my own satisfaction but not so with The OTTERBOX.I do have large hands and this case does add more to the phones bulk than my previous Spigen case. However,l find it easier to use because it fits my hands better.I have several cases that just ‘didn’t cut the mustard’ - from apple to unknown brands. This beats the lot. This case does support both my Mophie and Elephas wireless chargers and despite its depth, all my various makes of lightning chargers fit easily. In a nutshell-Best case to grip and for slipping into the pocket, that I have had. This review is by me, RICHARD PHILLIPS and I don’t take kindly to sellers bribing me to say something else.

Have used this case for over a year now. Despite being treated appallingly, it is only showing light signs of use.I have dropped my phone (iPhone 7) from reasonably heights countless times with no damage at all.You need to be firm when putting the phone in the case, and it tends to be one you would leave on all the time, since the tough rubber means it isn't the quickest to remove. However this means the phone does not move at all within the case and is therefore well protected. The case is hard wearing but easy to slip into a pocket, unlike some rubber cases. It is thinner than others I have used but clearly works effectively. It is comfortable to hold and the slightly raised front protects the screen when dropped/placed face down.It does not block the speakers on the iPhone 7 and there are no issues accessing the charging port. The volume and sleep/wake buttons remain responsive and the loud/vibrate switch is easily accessible. There's a reason these cases have such a good reputation. Definitely worth the money!

This was crystal clear back as promised, and though the sides are opaque, it is not very and you can still see your fingers behind them. The button covers work fine too.I bought some screen covers from a different company which were guaranteed to not interfere with care but see the reason is they leave part of screen uncovered, so this is something to bear in mind.I think I will chance it and leave it as is and just hope the generous raised edge means if dropped vthwt no chance of the very teeny bit of unprotected screen gets a hit.All in all a beautiful pixel 3xl back and edge protector which as want cheap hopefully will last well and not yellow or crack.I shall add comments if it does have any issues but as only had this less than a week too early now to comment on longevity or durability.

After returning a couple of see through silicone and plastic cases, I am delighted to have this OtterBox on my iPhone 8 Plus. As I mentioned, I returned 2 cases due to bad fit, despite them claiming full compatibility with iPhone 7 and 8 Plus models. There is a very slight difference between the 7 and 8 Plus which caused a bit of a misalignment around the speakers and charging port at the bottom of the phone. I believe it is normal behaviour when a soft case like silicone is stretched. The OtterBox is obviously much tougher and even though it says it is designed for the iPhone 7, it also fits the 8 Plus like a glove. It does not add much bulk to the slim design of the phone's so the balance between having this tough case on a slim phone and covering up the beautiful glass design is just perfect.

5 Star for doing the job. Best case I have ever owned. Also looks the part...(everything it sells it does).Dropped one star because,Granted I have had it a long time - though not that long! Considering the price and all that - about a year now if not maybe a little bit longerIt has completely fallen apart and a few months after purchasing it, it turned a nasty yellow and totally discoloured. This discolouration is not elevated by anything cleaning etc so presumably it is a fundamental material fault.Other than that, I mean let's be honest I have done nothing but rave about this case in the meantime and recommend it so.Also bulky headphone jacks do not fit in the headphone port when this case is on your iPhone.Meaning that you have to frequently take it on and off (annoying).

I have an iPhone 7 with a syncwire screen protector. I tried loads of slim cases though never liked them. Then I found this one. Not only does the design of it look fantastic on my iphone (back & front) it also has a very tough case! What I mostly like is that, even with my screen protector fitted, the front of the case still sticks out forwards so that I am able to lay my phone down on it’s front without damaging any of the screen (some other cases did not allow this). The sides and front of the case are rubber although the back is not so it can slip when layed down on its back although I wasn’t going to throw such a nice case away because of this so I made a pattern out of some black griptape and stuck it on the back of the case “et voila” my phone no longer slips ?

Felt obliged to write this as this is probably the best cover I have ever owned.Doesn’t add much bulk and makes the phone actually feel more substantial in the hand. All the buttons easily accessible when using it.I am careful with my phones but I have still dropped this many times and my phone hasn’t a mark on it.The cover sits out slightly from the screen which means if you drop it, it usually touches the ground first and the screen is not directly struck. Most drops I have had the cover always falls towards the other side, which maybe is how it is designed.Anyways, great cover and I have had it everyday for a year now and not a mark on it!All the protection you need without taking away the experience of the phone which some bulkier cases do

The good : Its a well made case, fits nice and tight, slight lip to protect the screen, hard back gives good protection. The not so good: The buttons dont seem to line up quite right, you can press the buttons even if you dont press the raised bit on the case. I did wonder if i hadnt quite got it on right but its that tight a fit i dont see how that could be. Having said that it doesnt cause any problems in use. It does grate my ocd a bit so I’ll have to see if i keep using it.Summary: Otterbox make good cases, it does what its supposed to do. It doesnt make the phone heavy. You may want to use a glass screen protector however Because of the curve of the screen I really dont like using them onthe iphone 7 the lip it leaves annoys me.

If you need a simple, effective case for your SE then this is the one to get. No bells or whistles, just a one-piece case that fits the phone like a proverbial glove. The ports aren't covered so if you need water and dirt resistance then you need to look elsewhere. If all you need is a bit of added protection then this is perfect.Adds very little bulk and feels nice in the hand. Power and volume buttons take a wee bit more pressure to operate but that's not a deal breaker. There's no screen protector but they can be picked up anywhere and I personally didn't need one.Seems to be a lot of fakes around so be sure to check the reviews. Can't fault this one at all and would definitely buy again should the need arise.

Prior to this my husband had been a dedicated Otterbox Defender user. However the previous couple he'd had had ended up creating air bubbles and an oil slick appearance between the screen and the built in screen protector, so he decided he wanted to try something different when he upgraded his phone to an iPhone 8. He knew I had used the Symmetry for my version, so figured he'd give it a try along with a tempered glass screen protector. He likes the way it looks and feels. It's not as heavy in his pocket, but he feels it is still well protected. 6-7 months on his phone is still pristine. So moving forward he's more likely to stay with the more slimline Otterbox styles rather than going backto the Defender.

I always go back to the otterbox brand when i want good proctection for my expensive phones! Can always know your phone is covered from most drops! I usually have rose gold or silver phones so j get clear but this time I got black Samsung s8 plus and it doesn't look as great at first but I ordered a bull shaped ring stand/holder and stuck that on the back and it looks much better as clear on black looked a bit plan at first but they have many colour options or you can add rings from Amazon like I did they do them in many styles. All ports are easy to get to and my glass screen protector still fits and it's a full edge to edge on the curved screen one.

My previous S7 was in a Griffen clear case for years which worked brilliantly but discoloured after year or so. For my new S10 I decided to try a different brand & after considering Maus (didn't like the magnets or clear cases) I opted for Otterbox. Really glad I did. Simple but effective case, well made & protects where it should without being bulky. Feels nice & secure in my hand. The only thing I would say is that it does attract a little dust on the inside edge by the screen but I guess this is normal static & more noticeable because its a black case. Overall I'm really impressed & hope it will protect my new baby for years to come!!
