Yes, I know. If you possibly can replace an Ethernet cable which has a broken clip then you should do so. But if you don't have the exact correct crimper and connector to hand, then a badly-crimped connector is a lot worse than a broken locking tab.These things, however, make a good interim solution - better than ty-rapping the wire to an adjacent cable, anyway.So if you are going to kludge, then kludge it properly.Just be sure to replace the cable or connector e-v-e-n-t-u-a-l-l-y.

I'd broken the clip on an ethernet cable I move around a lot between computer and console so these are a lifesaver as I run the cable quite a long distance and didn't want to have to buy a whole new cable. There was a slight issue where the cable I was using had some rubber protrusions blocking the application of the clip but I cut those off and the clip fits snugly.

I had a network cable going into a router, it would not stop in because the small plastic protrusion, thats holds it in place had nearly snapped off. The cable had been routed under the floorboards, this clip fixed the problem and saved me lifting the floorboards. No problems with the clip but I wished they sold it in smaller, cheaper packs

I brought this as part of a 10+ product order, so i will copy this review in to most of the products i ordered and add a few notes.The product was delivered in the time frame, and met all the advertised specifications, i would recommend this product.Notes; it did what it was supposed to, good value.

I bought these for a family member who keeps breaking the ends of his ethernet cables by connecting and disconnecting from his laptop. Works out a lot cheaper than constantly buying cables. Only time will tell how long they last.

Wish I’d found these great little clips years ago! If you’ve got a network cable in a tight spot with a broken clip rather than replace entire cable stick one of these on it and it’s as good as new??

Exactly as expected. One thing I like about this particular listing over other 100packs is both times I've ordered the ends have arrived in a small plastic 'jam jar', which is great for storage.

£15 for 50 is stupid expensive for an item that could be 3D printed for pennies, but they do work well and give a better click than my cat6 cables did before they broke!

If you have cat 5e cable these are the kiddies. Thought I was saving money buying cheap ones buy they were rubbish and kept on breaking. Nice and easy to fit

Just what I needed. I didn't realise these things existed. Really useful for those cables that the clip gets broken on.

Tired of throwing away damaged network cables I spotted the repairing clips and I am now very satisfied with them.

Used a lot of rubbish ones before but these are excellent quality for the price, highly recommended.
