Perfect for my FreeNAS build. This is server ECC memory which makes it quite a bit more expensive than standard desktop memory. If you have a server grade motherboard and are planning on building a NAS, you really should go for ECC memory. Otherwise you are seriously putting your data at risk. There are plenty of articles on Google that will explain why this is true. I was not a believer at first, but I'm glad I spent the extra money. The motherboard that I used this memory in is the ASRock C2750D4I Mini ITX. I'm not sure how much of this I can attribute to this memory, but my system has worked flawlessly for me. I even use it for real-time transcoding with Plex and it doesn't skip a beat, even with 2-3 HD streams.Check the compatibility list for your MB before buying this. Crucial also has a nice compatibility lookup tool on their website.

Nothing beats having LOTS more memory than you working set requires in your computer. Thanks to this purchase, my HP Z210 workstation now sports 32 GB of RAM and its Windows 7 task manager usually indicates a memory footprint ranging between 12 GB and 14 GB (meaning a good part of the rest is probably used by the OS for caching). No more slowdowns under prolonged heavy use! And getting this deal on a half-price sale is what made it possible for me to afford it.I only wish the delivery service they used had bothered to ring my doorbell instead of just shoving the package in my mailbox while I was awaiting delivery inside my residence... (sigh)

beware that win7 home only lets you use 16 or 20Gb. i bought to augment my ThinkServer140's native 8Gb thinking I'd get 24. i was surprised to not see all 24 and thought the error correcting took some overhead after a certain threshold (8-10 gb), but it was as simple as Windows setting unnessary limitations to sell win7 pro. if you have win10 home you can address something obscene like 128Gb, so itll all get utilized after upgrading the OS.

Working great on my ASUS M4N68T-M-V2 running NAS4Free file server. Much better than the last set I tried which was on the HCL and non ECC. Will be upgrading the board next to ASUS M5A97 R2.0 which also supports ECC ram to get a second PCI 8x slot, 1 for HBA (Dell PERC H200 flashed with LSI firmware) and second slot for Intel NIC. Wish I could afford SuperMicro, but this will do for the time being.

needed an upgrade for our server and these worked perfect. since installing, we have had no issues. They were quick and easy to install and ran perfectly right away. After putting our server to the test it was time for an upgrade. These fit our needs perfectly, are a quality product, and the price was just right. We will definitely be coming back once it's time for another upgrade

Great memory for a Lenovo ThinkServer TS-140, Model 70A4001MUX. Continues to work in my Server. Crucial is THE memory of choice for ECC memory and for other systems with tight tolerances, like the Apple Macs. I have had excellent experience with Crucial for over 20 years. Highly recommended! Crucial has a website with a memory calculator and an advisor. Always helpful.

spent 6 hrs did a memtest, no issue found. Btw, the ram seems not really compatible with my mobo which is ASROCK C2750D4i.When i power on server, the server will power off itself and then power on again. After that will run smoothly.i guess i need to do a stress test like 24 hrs to see whether it is 100% backward compatible or not.

I needed Unregistered (unbuffered) ECC to use in a Supermicro X10-slm Xeon board. This fits the bill perfectly - low voltage, ECC, unregistered. The board recognises it and works fine, no problems so far.Amazon also get 10/10 for dealing with a delivery problem promptly and efficiently - top marks all around!

This ram is compatible with *most* supermicro boards that can use ECC ram (make sure the processor can as well, not all i3s actually can). If you search the model number you can find out what ram it is an exact equivalent of. Tested the ram for 12 hours with memtest86+, no errors and no ECC errors.

This is solid as a rock on a Lenovo TS440. If you have a TS440 you want this memory. You do. This machine's motherboard needs unbuffered ECC memory (when you're using ECC memory) and 1.5v, not 1.35v. Crucial is a solid product line, and warranty issues (*very* rarely encountered) are a breeze.

Works with my "ASUS P9D WS Intel® LGA1150" atx size motherboard even though I couldn't find it on the motherboard's recommended ram list.I had trouble installing with my weak pushes before learned somewhere that you may have to apply 20-30 pounds of pressure to correctly fit the ram in.

Not much to say when reviewing ram. It is exactly as described. Helped speed up my home server significantly. I would say it is a very good price for a single 8GB ram. Been using it for close to a year now with no issues. I would recommend this to anyone needing to speed up their server.

Bought 2 kits (32GB) and they are working without any problems. Bought this memory based on a comment on the C2750D4I Asrock motherboard product page. Didn't have any problem to get the memory recognized by the system. Also left memtest running for 2 full cicles without any problems.

Working great and installed without issues in my TS140 ThinkServer. Hard to imagine how cheap memory has become over the years. In my case I remember when a 4k ferrite core memory board cost over $20,000 (and that's back when the dollar was actually worth something!). Enjoy...

For others who may want to know, these do work in Lenovo TS140 servers with no issue at all. In fact, I just threw these in with the included 4GB stick Lenovo ships and another Crucial 4GB stick I already had in there from a previous upgrade bringing the total up to 24GB.
