This purchase is especially very exciting as I was a victim of the RAM failure on my GigaByte motherboard (GA-MA770T-UD3P) and 1 of my 2GB sticks after over 5 years of use. This happend on the Sat I then looked it up and checked for compatiblity on the Sunday and orders on from Amazon that night. Delivery date was on the following Tuesday and I had tracking on the product from the start. To my amazment the it arrived on the Monday evening and the stick were inserted in and my PC is up and running again from failure. These are single sided DIMM and sit happy with the double sided dimm that I have remaining. Crucial have been around for the 10 odd years that I have been building systems and I stick with them for reliability. This is great compliment to the SSD and makes the bootup time just a joy not have to wait more than 4 secs to login on windows 7. The best thing is that price is very reasonable and will have no hesitation to buy again from the Crucial memory folks again.

I recently built my own computer by visiting pcpartpicker.com and getting the correctly matched motherboard, CPU, video card, memory, hard drive and dvd drive. I then went shopping online to get the best price for these items. I found the best price for this memory card on Amazon and installed two of them. Even though I am running Windows XP, I can still read 3G of memory on my 32bit machine. I can easily upgrade my motherboard to a 64bit version later when I am ready to install Windows 7. I am finding out that Crucial memory cards are an excellent choice if you can't find Kingston cards. Computer powered up perfectly once everything was installed.I was pleased with the shipping and handling of this order and wouldn't hesitate to order through them again.

This was my first attempt at installing any type of hardware inside a computer. My Lenovo had 8Gb and an empty bay for another 204 pin chip. So I was tentative at pushing it in the bay slot, fearing that I might break something. The first two times I thought it was in, but when I rebooted my computer, I still had only 8GB performance. Finally, I applied a little more pressure, heard the snap of the prongs engage it, and presto! It has made a big difference in the speed of everything, and I am very happy with my additional RAM. Before purchasing, I did go to the Crucial website and downloaded a program that told me which Crucial DDR3 was compatible with my computer. Then I purchased it from Amazon.

It is and does exactly what it says it is and does, I already run an 8GB stick and this will be my second, raising me up to 16GB. 1600MHz is a respectable speed and Crucial products rarely fail. RAM speed doesn't make much of a difference unless you're doing REALLY intensive things on it, so this 1600 MHz stick is perfectly acceptable for even an entry to mid level gaming setup.Very durable, easy to get in and out. Not reccomended for water cooling setups though as it needs airflow over the chips. If you're going watercooled you will likely be looking at RAM with heatsinks pre-attached anyway.Running with an AMD A8-6600K OC to 4.8 GHz, MSI GTX 750Ti OC to the max (1.382GHz).

Works fine in my PC despite the Crucial website not specifically saying they were compatible with my motherboard. They recommended ones that were nearly twice the price (funny that). Maybe I got lucky, but it helps that my existing RAM was also made by Micron. Each of my sticks is 2gb each, making 8gb in total, and the new ones were recognised straight away, no mucking around. The 2 new ones are a different speed to the other 2 so it downgrades the faster ones to match the slower ones as expected, but for this price that's fine.

Nice RAM chip. Got this for my Z800 Workstation, upgrading from 6GB of 1333Mhz DDR3 to 12GB of these unbuffered 1600Mhz. No major speed improvements have been really observed. The larges improvements comes from the doubling in memory size and the change from buffered to unbuffered. A lot of my RAM intensive processes have seen improved times as a result. The chips are also great quality. No issues with any of the 6 that I purchased. Glad I was able to get my hands on some unbuffered RAM for a change.

Package arrived within five days. Fitted it straight into my Win7 desktop inside ten minutes - no problems. Booted up and the extra memory was recognised straight away, doubling my memory capacity from two to four gigabytes. Computer now runs and loads very much quicker: this has to be the cheapest way of improving PC performance. Excellent value and no downside, very satisfied with this purchase.

Bought two of these. Upgraded from 4gb to 16. I bought one later than the other so I had 12gb. Due to mismatched dimms, my pc failed to boot once and bluescreened after an hour. This never happened again, so it was probably the motherboard making the cas and frequency the same. If this happens to you don't worry, give your pc 2 hours to sort itself out and then use it.

Bought this to go I. My ZoostormZoostorm 7877-0095 Premium PC (Intel Core i5-3330, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, DVDRW. Apparently the Ram inside the 7877 is unavailable online. So I located a website which gives you and exact match. This works perfectly with it. I'm a photographer and use loads of ram hungry software like light room and Photoshop. This is fine!

RAM is perfect for my system as I have knowledge of hardware. But this model no. is actually CT102464BD160B and not CT102464BA160B. Also, in Amazon seller has shown DDR3 but its DDR3L actually. So only the systems whose motherboard and CPU supports DDR3L will support this RAM. Buyers must check Crucial website for compatibility with their system.

A cheap and easy upgrade for an older (7 years) gaming computer. I think I can get another few years out of it with this little upgrade. Before that I was doubting it. Make sure the type of RAM and the clock speed matches what your motherboard supports. You can google that to find out what works with your system.

If you want memory that installs without problems then Crucial memory is the best one to buy in the UK. Crucials on-line diagnostic finds the right memory to both match and improve that already installed. Other memory may let you down in the short & longterm. In my experience Crucial keeps you running!

Worked well, no errors. Ran MEMTest86 for one day. Got 3 of these for my old tri-channel mobo. Two of the sticks had the same manufactured date and third had different date - but matched good enough for my tri-channel i7-920 ASRock X58 extreme mobo. Loved it because of price / delivery / and worked.

This doubled the RAM in a tiny little desktop that was straining to make it with only 2GB of headroom. It does what it's supposed to, and it arrived in good shape, quickly, for a good price. I've purchased Crucial products repeatedly in the past, and will continue to do so.

Since I don't bother over-clocking the fast processors, available these days (I'm not a gamer.), either memory works or it doesn't. I've never had a Crucial memory stick fail me. Bless them. This is GOOD stuff ... for a reasonable, competitive price. And, yes, it WORKS!
