I'm normally not a huge fan of yellow, but of the colors available for this pen, it turned out to be beautiful. It seems a bit shorter than the pens I usually use, but I have small hands, so I actually like that. It is heavy enough to make you notice that you're actually holding something of quality, but not so heavy that it's annoying. Of course, it writes exactly as you would expect from a Cross brand pen. This is one of the nicest pens I've ever owned. Now--not to lose track of it.In summary, Cross pens have a reputation of being of the highest quality. That's absolutely true for this one, which is just the right heft, writes nicely and comes in bold colors.

My review is for the sunrise yellow ballpoint. I've had it well over a year now and it's still in perfect condition, even after everything it's been through. I actually lost it last summer and only recently found it in the little compartment in the door of my car. It was subjected to extreme heat, then freezing temperatures, and also was jostled around with other odds and ends for months. I expected it to be dried up, but it is absolutely fine; writing just as smoothly as it did in the beginning. Even the finish doesn't have a scuff. It's going directly into my pocketbook so I don't lose track of it again! Five stars for durability!

Pros:1. I love having a nice pen and this certainly qualifies.2. Feels heavier than it looks.3. Materials used feel very high quality and well made.4. The color grows on me more each day and I like it is easy to find and no one wants to steal it.5. Writing is smooth and consistent.6. Comes in a very nice box, will make a great gift.7. Similar to much higher end pens in terms of writing quality.Cons:1. I wish it came with some ink refills.2. I feel it should come with a refillable tank.

I bought this as a Christmas present for our niece when she was staying with us over Christmas. She loves to journal, and I thought a nice pen would be a good gift.The pen is stylish and could be used by either a male or female, although I think it runs a little to the feminine side. It has a nice thickness….not as thin as many nice pens, but not so thick as to be difficult to hold in a comfortable fashion. In addition, the ink flowed smoothly and the pen wrote nicely. Recommended.

This is a nice style of Cross pen. It has a bold yellow barrel, silver accents, and a nice pin style texture on the top and the barrel near the portion where you twist. The pen is well-balanced, easy to hold, and writes in a bold, smooth, medium point ink. I am very satisfied with this pen so far. There have been some concerns about the longevity of this pen. I will update this review if I find that the pen has any issues, but for now I enjoy it.

This is a beautiful pen that would make a nice gift to someone you love--or even yourself.I love the color. It's a rich yellow that's elegant and classy. The chrome accents are particularly beautiful.The pen writes beautifully, and it's a pleasure to write with. It's heavier than the cheap pens that I use, but not too heavy to use.All in all, it's a delight to look at and use. And it has a lifetime guarantee.

I have always liked Cross pens, and keep a couple in my purse. I wanted one I could leave on my desk to always be around when I needed a pen. It has a nice feel, twists to open and close, and of course, easy to change out refills. I wanted a light colored pen, as my desk is black. While white really wasn't my first choice, I do like the pearlescent tint to the white, looks really nice. Overall, very satisfied.

The Sunrise Yellow Pearlescent Lacquered Cross Pen is sheer perfection. The color is bold and dramatic. The weight of the pen is wonderful. It glides across the paper. The ink is black and shows up well on various pieces of paper stock. I think this is perfect as a graduation, new job or treat for yourself. I’d recommend it.

This is alovely pen with a decent weight to it and the finish and clour are good, my only concern though is how long the actual finish will last, I have had several Cross pens over the last few years and mechanically they stand the test of time, the finish however does not and wears off quite quickly, so time will tell.

As always Cross is a great brand with dependable smooth writing for all of their pens I've had, fountain or ballpoint. But I really think this one is super cute and the coral color makes it pop! I am thinking of getting our realtor one as a thank you gift for her excellent assistance with buying our home.

This is a nice pen but slippery as are all the Cross pens I have tried. I like the bright yellow color - makes it easy to find in my handbag. I have not had a problem with the lacquer flaking as have other reviewers. All in all I am happy with this pen but surely wish it had a textured grip.

I have this in yellow, and the color is so bright that it makes me happy to use it. I usually prefer rolling gel ink and so may buy cartridges when the included ballpoint cartridge needs to be replaced. It writes smoothly, and while it does add some weight to my purse, is lovely to use.

Loved it. Smooth writing and beautiful. Had one for almost a year, then lost it (or someone coveted it and took it..) Bought three more one to replace the lost and one each and red and purple Nice heft and beautiful and professional in appearance. Not disappointed.

This is one of those pens that you gift someone because you KNOW they love to write and deserve a tool that is worthy of those words and thoughts they are putting on paper. Its heavy enough, writes smoothly and I love the yellow because its distinctive.

I like good quality pens but dislike spending too much on them, this pen fits the bill perfectly, it is very stylish and is a pleasure to write with. It has a nice weight to it without being 'too' heavy. Very pleased and would definitely buy again
