This is as the product particulars suggest a pen that is clearly intended for women, although, the barrel is not as slim as some Cross pens I've seen. Being a lacquer rather than metal finish I was concerned that it might seem a bit "plasticky" - that is not the case at all. The pen looks and feels like a quality product - it retracts smoothly by twisting the barrel which is a Cross hallmark. The white lacquer is attractive and has an almost translucent quality to it, plus, the metal fittings are of good quality and complete the look very well. The balance of this pen is good as is the writing quality which is silky smooth I'm told and it comes with a medium black refill. Finally,

Delivered well within the expected time frame. Bought this as a present and the person that received it is very satisfied with it! I am no stranger to Cross pens myself and I had a go with it since and this is beautiful pen to write with! Really nicely weighted and very solid feel to the construction, as you would expect from cross! My only doubts is it may be slightly heavy for anyone with weak or damaged wrist to write with for long periods with, due to the weight! Although this would be of no concern to myself or the person that received it as a gift from me! Contemplating adding on to my own collection!

This is an absolutely beautiful pen, and amazing value for money. The silver parts set off the deep purple body to perfection, and the pen just feels so classy and comfortable in your hand. I got this for my wife, who LOVES it.I was sorta hoping she wouldn't, so I could use it myself, but I do already have 4 other cross pens, 3 of which I love and one I don't particularly like, but it is well-made.You know you will get quality with Cross pens. :)

This pen writes beautifully, really smooth. The pen is quite weighty and well balanced giving improved control and looks fantastic. Its a little darker in colour than in the picture but the description says 'deep purple' so it meets the description fine. I bought it to replace a Waterman which had broken, and although I chose this one because it was cheaper I prefer it as its a bit wider.

I ordered this as a treat for myself on starting a new job, and I'm glad I did. It's a good weight, writes smoothly and looks and feels well-made. I ordered the purple and was happy to discover that it is not the rather lurid purple of the picture but a very pleasing deep aubergine. It came in a neat presentation box and would be a lovely present.

This is alovely pen with a decent weight to it and the finish and clour are good, my only concern though is how long the actual finish will last, I have had several Cross pens over the last few years and mechanically they stand the test of time, the finish however does not and wears off quite quickly, so time will tell.

Bought for my wife and as per the roller ball also purchased, she was delight with the pen and colour. It's a dark pearlescent purple that comes alive in sunlight, a lovely finish.The pen has a twist action and the ballpoint is very fine and lovely to write with.It's presented in a nice box to finish it off.

I bought this to replace a similar design of Cross pen that has ended up scratched badly from daily use and being carted about in my over-stuffed handbag. I like the thicker barrel which is very comfortable in the hand and the pen is also a nice weight. The deep purple with chrome trim looks very stylish.

I love Cross pens - had the same one for Christmas and was so pleased with it. Unfortunately it fell out of my bag on to a hard concrete floor and shattered but I liked it so much I bought another to replace it. I don't think you can go wrong with Cross pens

I like good quality pens but dislike spending too much on them, this pen fits the bill perfectly, it is very stylish and is a pleasure to write with. It has a nice weight to it without being 'too' heavy. Very pleased and would definitely buy again

I bought this pen as a gift and was really pleased with the purchase.It arrived quickly and came in a lovely presentation box, which was perfect given it was a gift.The colour and design of the pem was good and tempted to buy one for myself.

was given a black and gold one for christmas, loved it. i have bought this to give as a gift, arrived the next day.pen looks lovely thicker than my black one. lovely colour and a sneaky use writes very smooth and in a lovely gift box

Bit skeptical when I saw price. Cross pens I have previously owned have been expensive. This pen is not only an excellent writer, it is beautiful. Will do both man or woman. Packaging excellent as is expected of a quality item.

Really good looking pen with a smooth twist action, although styled as a lady pen there's no reason why it couldn't be used by a man (if you like purple). Nicely packaged so has a quality feel from the moment you unwrap it.
