Let me state right now. I love pens! I love quality craftsmanship and I spend a lot of my day writing with a pen, in the old fashion way. I grew up with my dad being a calligrapher and so soon appreciated quality mechanisms and a smooth nib. I own many great brands from Mont Blanc to Cross, but have to say, this is a lovely pen to use. The smooth shape and design makes it easy to securely fit in a pocket. Just slide it open for the nib to reveal itself. Then the quality of Cross's refills allow you to write with the roller-ball mechanism so smoothly. The ink is dark and remains sharp even after months on a page. The thickness of the pen is just right with a gradual taper that sits comfortably between thumb and forefinger without any strain,

Always wanted one of these I was gunning for the blue one or the X star wars ones but they're a tad expensive. It came with a pre installed black in refill that has a wax nib on the tip to protect and stop any leaking in transit or while in box which brings me to packaging,mine came in a nice box with an outer card sleave. To open/close the pen is so nice and thought out well, you pull/push the barrel apart. It clicks closed and has a clip on the side. The gel ink is excellent and writes really well. It feels nice and comfortable to hold and is a nice size when open or closed. I do a lot of writing daily for my job and wanted to treat myself,im not disappointed I'm glad I did.

So, I actually found one of these on the floor in the office and after a failed attempt at locating the owner, thought I would give it a spin. I FELL IN LOVE! I ended up losing that one (circle of pen life) so treated myself to my own.Never going back to cheap pens again. Not the cheapest and the refills need picking up about one every 2 months for me but I just love it. Really smooth to write with, the click open of the pen feels sturdy and showing no signs of wear and tear. Honestly, if you do a lot of writing, treat yourself. You won't regret it.

This pen is so nice. I treated myself to a slightly more expensive pen than usual and I’m so pleased that I did as I love this pen. I looks really great and the way it opens is really cool. No lid to loose the clip is sturdy and doesn't move as I normally end up bending these and breaking them off. The black coating doesn’t chip or scratch and I’ve been using it for months now and it still looks great. It’s also lovely to write with. I’ve also replaced the ink cartridges recently and that was also easy to do.

I love pens - I've had cheap ones and expensive ones. Disappointingly I've had expensive ones, beautifully engineered, where the refills are poor quality. These Cross refills are the best of any brand I've had in years - they write seamlessly and uniformly and the gel ink is dry to the touch in 10 seconds. So happy I bought 4 of the pens in total.

I worked in IT for 48 years, and have seen it all, From punched cards to smartphones, incredible changes and advancements. But.......................you will always need to write something down and there is nothing better than a Cross pen. Love the new models and the styles. Easy to use and perfect for the job!!

The width of these pens is ideal to make writing for long periods comfortable and less painful than writing with a ballpoint for me. Ink lasts for a while and this is the 4th one of these pens I have purchased. Now have a couple in reserve to ensure that I always one of these available.

This is my second and such a nice pen to use especially with a roller ball refill, the most comfortable pen and very striking to look at.Just be careful if you lend it to someone, my sister didn’t know how to open it and twisted it so severely that she broke my first one ?

I really like to write with a comfortable pen and this one suits the bill perfectly. A very smooth writing motion and being a gel pen shows up lovely on the page.Its a little chunky which is perfect for me, but it's light too, ideal.Would highly recommend this pen.

This pen is slightly fatter than a regular pen, I've found this really helps with my writing, much neater and flows really well. Love the different style of retraction, it's quite unusual. Very striking looking pen, really nice, currently my favourite.

Have used Cross pens for a good few years as the best balance between lasting and non-blotting on one side and price on the other. The only problem is that I have a habit of losing them and then have to buy another!The item was delivered promptly

Love my cross pens. Have several with different colour bodies within which I’ve changed the ink colour. Just wish they weren’t all shipped with black ink! The push pull open & close confuses nearly everyone too so less “borrowed” pens

This is my second Cross pen of this type. I find them to be well balanced and easy to use with almost an 'ink pen' feel to the quality of the writing. Easy to clip away and carry, theses are definitely my 'go to' daily writing pens.

This pen is one of the best I’ve come across in a long time.I really love the unique opening and closing function as I can do it with one hand.The writing is bold, dark and smooth, very distinctive results.Absolutely love it.

I have 3 of these pens now. At home at work in pocket. Super smooth and intense ink. Can't leak or become open in your pocket. So desirable and tactile. Amazing. All other own makers eat your heart out!
