This is a fun little set that can live on as cool numbered mini glasses, if you get bored of the paddle. However... the paddle could (if used responsibly and I’m obviously not suggesting it becomes part of some amusing beer fueled game, we’d never want that) be used as a tiny cricket bat for “fun japes” in the garden or for amusingly batting a rolled up ball of paper around the room. I’m not suggesting any grown up blokes or ladies would do such a thing, just suggesting they might, perhaps find inventive uses for a wooden paddle, perhaps making butter or swatting at gnats as they buzz around your beer.The glasses hold just over a 1/4 pint. So you could squeeze four samples out of a pint bottle.

This is a perfect gift for a male who is hard to buy for.My dad is a gentleman who enjoys a bit of a tipple so this was a perfect gift for him.Put together with a couple of lesser known ales we had a cracking evening using it.For me a gift to someone is always about if it brings happiness and this (plus the ale) did.It’s really nicely made and the board the glasses sit on is beautiful, so makes it look worth the money you pay. The glasses hold enough for us to savour the drink between the 2 of us (yes we had 2 glasses each).I love this item and if you are looking for something to gift your dad or grandad I think is a perfect little gift,

Ok, isn't the wording on the box a bit sexist? I know some women who enjoy a good ale. And staying on wording, how can you have a mini pint glass? It's either a pint or not. Nowhere can I find the fl oz / ml content of the glasses. So I measured one. The height of the glass is 13.5cm. Content to very brim 200ml, almost 8floz. Content with a sensible sized head is about 180ml, 6.5floz.The paddle is made of pine. The whole set is produced in China.All in all an ideal gift for someone that likes the vari pack of ales* you can find. *other drinks are available at all good off licences. And some dodgy places too! ## Please drink responsibly to avoid spillages ##

This is a great set to give as a present to any beer lover. It contains a wooden pallet board which holds 4 210ml curved glasses designed to look like mini pint glasses.The clearly numbered glasses are just under half a pint each, so can hold a fair amount of beer between them, allowing you to have a good sample of different beers, which is their intended purpose. Of course, they can easily be put to other uses, including drinking games!The pallet is well made but fairly basic for the price of the set though the glasses themselves look great on display or in use. It's certainly an interesting concept, though.

An excellent little set with glasses that hold just under a half pint and which are numbered for keeping track of beer sampling. A plan wooden board with handle and indentions allows the drink to be carried. This is an ideal gift for a beer fan (I’d say supply some beer as part of the gift too, after all the glasses would be of more use full).

A fun little novelty set, good for gift or a night at the home bar. The glasses are numbered and carry nearly half a pint, with a well finished carrying board. Personally I'm far too ham fisted to use the handle, but it still works.It's good value and a bit of fun.

What an absolutely fantastic gift for a beer lover. Or the man who has everything! The Resident Warlock is going to love these... Both the tray and the glasses are very well made and the whole thing comes very nicely boxed. Birthday pressie sorted!

This is a lovely, well-made item, perfect as a gift for any beer fans or as an addition to your drink-serving repertoire.The wooden pallet is made of pine.The glasses hold about half a pint each.All in all, a really nicely put together kit.

Well presented gift for the beer lover. Nice wooden tray where the glasses sit, and numbered so that they keep track of what they are drinking. Glasses are good quality and are still looking fine after a few goes in the dishwasher.
