This review is actually by my son who's 10. He found it very challenging to start with and so he worked on it for a while with his Dad. They changed some of the controls and then found it easier, but on the whole it was just a case of knowing which key did what and having a practice. He was disappointed that you couldn't save more often as he would spend a while getting so far then have to stop for dinner and all progress to that point is lost. Unlike the Farm Simulator where you can save as you go along the whole time.We have The Crane, Digger and Farm games and he really enjoys them all but you do need to check your computer can handle the spec required as this only works on my computer and not the kids one which is older.Not a "game" for kids,

**BEWARE!**Please, please, please read this review before buying this game - it WILL save you money and disappointment!I bought Crane Simulator thinking that, finally, these tech geeks had created a game in which I could finally live out my fantasies of seeing what life was like as a Crane - and by that I mean the bird (Grus antigone antigone)!Imagine my horror when I found this game was about vast metallic monstrosities, with not a feather in sight!The makers of this game should really change the name to make it something less misleading. I shall be writing to Bill Oddie about this.

Definitely one for the most patient of Players. Control is finite and the movement of the objects unbelievably real (the swing has to be kept under control). Cycling through the camera views became a bit annoying at times as you could lock onto one view but not jump to another view of choice but had to cycle through to it and then lock (shut off Auto) again. Separate keys or TABs for the views would have been better.But definitely an excellent sim. Would like to see more addon tasks!

Very good recreation of the skill needed to move large items in the real world. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to operate a crane then this is for you. With a high def screen to enhance the graphics this is great fun. Great value item, runs happily on win 7.

Always wanted to have a go at driving a crane.Since buying crane simulator i dont think i`de make a very good one though i keep knocking into things,but what fun i am having trying.For anyone who likes a challenge this is ideal to try,well worth the money.

This game is brilliant hours of fun. Works very well on my pentium (4) 3.00ghz 1gb ram would highly recommend.
