I have had this product for a year before writing this review, and this 16GB Kit of Vengeance Pro is still going strong and has had a very high performance since day 1. Other relevant components to the build:Intel i7 4790k, 500gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD, MSI Gaming 5 Motherboard.I will use the E.P.I.C scale to thoroughly review this RAM by Corsair.E - Ease of Use (10/10)It couldn't be any easier to install the RAM kit. Literally plug and play. If you have a sabretooth fx990 it'll work on it even if it's not on the official compatibility list. Rather than buy 16gb 1866 which wouldn't be v.good for overclocking this was on sale so how could I not grab it? fabulous.After some trial and error I got this to work perfectly at full speed (ddr3 2400) with my fx4350 which overclocks the on-cpu memory controller of the fx chip by a whopping 29% but as I watercool my cpu & monitor the temps I feel comfortable with that + I run the cpu at 4.9ghz and it has been ultra stable in every circumstance eg. playing tomb raider on ultra at 100% cpu & passed a p95 stress out for a couple of hours on blend however at the very peak of this year's (2016)

I've only received this today so I will do any update that's needed in the future regarding reliability etc.This review is about installation and first impressions.I'm using this to replace a pair of 4gb Corsair Vengeance LP sticks @ 1600 mhz. I need to put the 1600 mhz sticks back in a cpu bundle I'm selling so I needed to get something asap. I've put them in a 4770k build on an MSI G45 gaming motherboard so visually it's a nice match in red, The sticks themselves are good lookers too so I'm happy so far.Fitting was straight forward and unlike the bundle I had the low profile sticks for this has a water cooler for the cpu so there's no headroom issues like you get with a lot of aftermarket

I took my PC from 16 gig to 32 gigs with this ram (i had two existing identical ram to begin with). I dont regret buying this extra ram. gaming seems pretty much the same maybe an extra few FPS thats about it. the real difference is in multitasking , i can have multiple complex windows open at any one time with no lag. i can play a graphically demanding game and still have stuff running in the background ! its worth remembering though i do have a 8gig GPU as well. with 32 gig of ram and 8gig GPU things multitask beautifully. the most demanding game now demands 16 gigs so , 32 gigs i have future proofed for a few years. i must mention the price. i bought this product for approx £127.00 since ,

I did an AMD APU build for a friend and bought a 2 x 4GB set to get them started.Full specifications:AMD A10-7850K (Overclocked to 4.3GHz).AMD R7 Graphics (Overclocked to 960MHz Core, set to 2GB VRAM).Asus A88x Gamer motherboard.Corsair Vengeance Pro.OCZ Tirion 100 SSD.Windows 10 Professional.The RAM works flawlessly with the APU and, running at 2400MHz DDR3 gives the onboard GPU a little more, much needed, memory bandwidth which helps with gaming over say 1600 DDR3 would.Seems to be running all of the games they've thrown at it so far so it's doing the job nicely.Amazing RAM for a DDR3 setup and, for those that have side windows on their PC's,

They worked at the end after I had hell on earth with them. First time installed the ram I was always getting blue screens of death, but all I had to do was turn the pc off amd back on. Then I reinstalled the ram and after about half an hour I got the switch on and off cycle. I fixed it but thennit happened again and I had to restart the bios. My pc would not turn on at all. To solve that it took me a could day to fugure out. I took out each ram stick apart from one, then booted the pc and it actually worked. Then I added one ram stick and booted repeated the process until all four slots were filled. And I ahd to press F2 each time when booted and it told me to ( Msi mb)

I bought this RAM as I wanted to increase capacity from my previous 8GB set (2x4GB 1866MHz Dominator Platinum).Although not as expensive as the Platinum series, I've had better luck overclocking this set; 2600MHz @ 11-13-13-31 and 2400Mhz @ 10-12-12-27.They're well built and look good with the rest of my red and black build.Make sure to check your BIOS and ensure they run at the correct speed and timings - my motherboard was trying to run them at 1866MHZ 9-10-9-27 as this was the speed of the previously installed modules. If you're not sure how to do this there are plenty of guides online to follow to ensure you get the most out of them.So far a great kit, I would highly recommend.

This ram looks very nice and performs even better, the heatsinks looks lovely but doesn't bulge too high and is fairly low profile, it just touches my hyper 212 evo but doesn't get hit by the fan, currently have it at 2133 MHz and timings of 9-9-9-24 and they are completely stable after having them like this for about a month, did a stability test with prime 95 using all my RAM for about 6 or 7 hours and was fine and played lots of games and was also fine, so why spend the extra money on faster RAM when you just overclock thisTo anyone looking at these they are perfect and perform good and I got them for £65 so even betterThey also look very nice in my motherboard Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H

On opening the package you really do feel like these are well made DIMMs: they are a good weight and feel well put together. Found they worked flawlessly and my motherboard (ASUS x79 Deluxe) had no problems with the XMP profile.Stayed rock solid while stress testing my overclocked i7 4930K. Cooling system worked well - even after a night of stress testing they were only warm to the touch (most RAM would be getting red hot).Can't comment on overclocking as I didn't really try it, other than to say due to the multipliers at times wile over clocking my i7 they had to run just shy of 2200MHz, which they of course handled with no problems (or need for increasing the voltage).

these RAM cards are very robust. I bought 2 packs of these and 1 card was faulty when put under high load. This card would cause my PC to Blue screen me when I was playing a game so I had to result to only using 3 of these cards. They are very good for usage in extreme gaming but I would recommend going for the 2133MHz or getting a DDR4 motherboard and getting some DDR4 RAM for extreme gaming. These cards have lasted me 3 years now and I am getting to the point now of wanting to replace them but I will wait till I have more money and just get a completely new pc with DDR4 Memory.

I wanted to replace my Gskill 4 gig x 2 ram sticks (1330Mhz)The PC refused to boot up with these new Corsairs..Running an i5 cpuI then re-fitted my 2 x 4 gig cards along with the new cards..... my PC booted upI now I have 24 gig RAM when all I wanted was 16 gigMy motherboard is rated at 32 gig ram 1600MhzI had no reason to think it wouldn't work with the new ram sticks... but it didn't.So I now have 2 different pairs of RAM sticks and all is good. Gaming performance is much better now..... I'm puzzled ! it works....... not sure why.

Performance of these is simply brilliant! Recently purchased these for a pc gaming build, with my motherboard only having 2 DIMM slots being mini itx I purchased the 16GB set to future proof myself for upcoming games that may demand more system memory. However, the 8GB set is also a great buy. Although these are rated at 1866Mhz, being designed for overclocking, I have mine running stable at 2133Mhz with no issues. Red colour looks great in person and goes along nicely with the rest of the red colour scheme in my system.

With many p.c. games needing more RAm thought I'd upgrade before I started getting loads of system crashes. I could have used in addition to my base 8Gb but that runs at a slower speed. Installation was as expected, although you'll need to check you have enough clearance for the big heatsinks, which should lend themselves to being overclocked quite nicely.All worked perfectly from the box, and although benchmarks are only slightly improved, it's reduced startup time on my p.c. by about 50% - who knew!

I have Corsair memory in the PC I upgraded with these, I've also used their memory in the past with no problems.Be careful with these though. They're much taller than my existing DIMMs (and other manufacturers products) and wouldn't fit into my spare slots with fouling the CPU fan.Fortunately in my case I was able to move my existing DIMMs over and put the new ones in the slots vacated and they just fit.
