Already purchased one memory when building my rig, I was financially ready to purchase the 2nd one. The memory is recognised and work well with my Asrock 990FX extreme 4. Being low profile and slim, it was very easy to install or remove.What I am also surprise about is, the fact that memory is not hot at all. But saying that I don't overclock the memory which work at 1.35V out of the box. To confirm the specs of this memory, Bus rate: 1600 MHz; Latency times: 9-9-9-24.I used a system with multi-OSes and having 16 GB which working in dual channel, I can see a tiny difference in the performance in all of them. The difference is more pronounce when playing game like Watch Dog or Assassin's Creed (any)

Look, its end of life (EOL) ram. Its hard to find new, I'm not ready to jump to DDR4 in my current rig as I'm planning to overhaul many other things first. I already had one of these in my pc, (1x8 @ ddr3 1600) and I don't like mixing modules, both aesthetically but also for speedwise. Its nicer in my mind to keep the same kinds.At time of writing you CAN buy the regular profile variant of this ram, however I already had the LP, and finding somewhere that I could buy this ram was difficult.Now to the nitty gritty.Benchmarking in games using my current rig, with the new ram lowered loading times for me, most games that are intensive (ArmA3, Battlefield 5, RFactor 2) all had a noticeable performance boost,

I liked that I could find this ram as it matched what I already had in my system and doubled what my old pc already had in it. Only issue as it is an old standard it was a bit more than I would liked to have paid but otherwise it does the job I need it to do.

Bought this to replace some faulty ram, fast, small so it fits under the cpu cooler, quite happy.
