I'm a great fan of C&C since the old days back to Dune 2.. This is a fun if not slightly camp version of the franchise.. The video clips are pretty amusing and its great to see some decent(ish) actors in there..The Missons can get quite tough, towards the end and there are good varients and changes to the misson as your playing, often with video characters updating you as you go...It took me weeks to complete all 3 teams so plenty of gameplay on offerGraphics/SpeedI've read on ALOT of reviews here and elsewhere that the game is jerky and slow on macbook which people say is the result of a poor port over from PC (using 'cider' or something). When I first ran and installed the game i too found this to be the case. However! All you need to do is turn Shadows Off... Once you've done that you can have all other graphic settings maxed out to full..!This is well worth trying and i guess had i not found that out i doubt i would of played on..Obviously some bug or something methinks. This was all on my Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz 2GB Ram (2008 unibody)

I love my Mac, but I love my games too, having to go into boot camp every day to play games frustrates me a lot, so when I head that there was going to be a Mac version of this game I waited.I have always enjoyed the C&C franchise but the Red Alert set has always been the most fun.The game worked straight away, no pesky activation issues that our Windows brethren have to go through, the graphics are polished and the game play is smooth, online play works flawlessly and up to now I have not had the game crash once.Considering that this came out only 6 months after the pc version (because lets face it we are usually forced to go the boot camp route or wait 2-3 years for a release) I couldn't be happier, well done EA 5 Stars!

One of the best game of the C&C franchise to date. Solid game play and rich visual graphics. The attention to detail is amazing in both game play and visual. The newly added Empire of the Rising Sun faction makes this game all the more interesting. This game, like many other similar RTS these days, requires a good micromanagement skill. Maybe just little more than others. 9 campaign missions on each faction may feel a little short but with online multiplayer options, it's gonna be weeks and months of endless fun. If you enjoyed playing C&C games or even just last few, you'll definitely like this one.

Absolutely corker of a game for the Mac this along with Tiberium Wars and Generals are a must have for any mac users. I agree with a previous poster about the frustrations of bootcamp running Windows so this Mac version suits me down to the ground. Grab yourself a copy you will not be disappointed.

This is a great enjoyable game and the best part is my Mac has not even crashed once while playing the game. Unlike the older version which I used to play on windows.I was bit taken by the low graphics quality but the game play makes up for that.

Used to love Tiberium Wars but couldn't find an affordable copy of it for Mac so bought Red Alert 3 instead. Might not be as good as Tiberium Wars but i still enjoy it and am very happy with my purchase.

I think the best game ever. Nothing since has the AI such that you can continue to play after several 1000 hours.

Another excellent game with a good plot line. Love the range of well known faces appearing in the plot videos.
