I haven't been using this long but so far very impressed with it. I am in my 50s so starting to get uneven skin tone and my usual max factor powder I've been using forever just isn't doing it any longer for me.I initially bought it as a primer to go under my powder not expecting it to do anything more than that but I found I can actually use this on it's own as it has a slight tint to it and evens out my skin tone.I just dot it on my face and blend with my hands just like using a moisturiser. I do moisturise my skin beforehand which I've done every day anyway since I was 17!I have always had quite sensitive skin and this hasn't broken me out so far. Use it about 3 times per week,

update on Cityblock 40. I have been using Clinique cityblock for about 20 years and I hoped that it was doing a good job but you never really know if what they claim is the truth. But the other day I got full confirmation that this product is WONDERFUL and has really protected my skin over the years. I went into a department store and had my face analysed under one of those UV light machines, which shows up sun damage, and the woman doing the test was amazed by the quality of my skin, no sun damage not even a freckle. You could see the cream had covered my face with an invisible sun block barrier. result.

I love love love this product. I'm very pale and have rosacea and I find that SPF 15, 20, 25 (found in most cosmetic type face sunblock) is not enough. This stuff I love. For a high SPF, the consistency is great, it goes right on and blends in well. I had no problem with flakiness as one commenter said, nor do I find this product to have a smell. Maybe a very faint chemical smell, but certainly nothing offensive. It covers up the imperfections on my skin, I just wear this and maybe some powder. The bottle's pretty big too, I think this one will definitely last the whole summer.

Pure and simple - this is a product that is effective and goes on working. Initially it feels super silky and disappears into the skin with minimal effort, then it goes on giving protection all day and more, no fuss. What more could you want?Downside? An unexpected disappearance from the shelves - Amazon to the rescue, Clinique's name as a reliable source only slightly dented, and my wife's dependence on this great product maintained!

Today was the first time trying it, and it’s amazing! I have mixed to oily skin lately, and I loved it, it doesn’t feel greasy at all, I don’t use foundation, because I don’t like how it feels and this product has a little tint on it but it feels really light so it doesn’t bother me at all. Great product!

I have been using this product a long time. The high street cannot keep up with the demand. Whenever I go to the Clinique counter in Boots or Debenhams or House of Frazer then have not got factor 40.Amazon can always get it even if they source from the USA. It comes wrapped like a gift!Well done Amazon!

this product was recommended by a Clinique assistant in my local boots store originally. I suffer from rosasea and needed an oil free prodct. I have been using it now for four years and have had no flare ups whatever.i use it as a daily moisturizer/foundation and could not be more pleased.

Perfect. Not heavy or greasy. Doesn’t make me break out like many other sun protection products. I can even wear a light moisturizer and foundation without it causing my make to slide off my face. Makes the perfect foundation primer and it’s light tint is great for “no makeup” days

I’m new to this product and I love it. It’s beautifully creamy but light and gives fantastic sun protection with the added bonus of evening out out my skin tone. It doesn’t cover like a foundation but kind of ‘mutes’ my massive sun freckles ? Would highly recommend.

Wonderful sunscreen. This is my second time buying it.The only thing that I don't like is that it leaves a film on my skin, it doesn't blend with the skin. But it has many benefits, and I have sensitive skin and this sunscreen is one of few that I like.

Goes on very smooth and is non irritating unless I get it too close to my eyes. It makes my skin so smooth and it gives it a glow/sheen that is youthful. The very slight tint blends really well on my light skin. A little goes a long way too.

Very nice SPF with a tint. Love almost everything about it. Its light, works well without make up as with it. it's not as sticky as all different spf's.Unfortunatelly I cannot use it as it's causeing awful breakouts on my skin.

I have been using city block for years. I have very sensitive skin, especially around my eyes. It doesn't irritate my skin at all (not even round the eyes) and seems to even it out and give me a healthy looking complexion.

The best thing in my make up bag by far. Light, non sticky, tinted sun block that acts as a perfect primer all year round. Keeps make up in place and feels very nourishing on skin. Please don’t ever discontinue, Clinique!

I love this product, it makes a nice base for foundation, you only need apply a little, and I find I only need to use a light cover of foundation. Have tried other products over the years but always come back to this.
