Good: cake ring is adaptable - saving buying and cleaning in the process of making one cake with different layers. I have uploaded photos of a no-bake strawberry cheesecake from a Korean recipe - cooking tree on YouTube. It turned out to be fine.Bad: may loosen up at the bottom.To be fair it is good enough also depend on the texture of the filling :) To prevent the leakage around the ring, I have put the cling film at the bottom from the start when I created the Oreo base. It worked !!!!! ( tried baking paper but it didn’t help)

I bought this in order to avoid filling my cupboards with different sizes of tin. It's generally a good product, easy to use and easy to clean. I have two criticisms though. One is that when you get close to its smallest size, it is not a perfect circle - more an oval. The second is that it's a bit fiddly to get the precise diameter of cake you want. That said, I expect to use this many more times and would recomend it.

It is a great piece of kit for mousses and bavarois and other desserts and cakes.I would recommend though, that you line it with food grade acetate for a smoother finish & release as the little metal sleeve can leave a slight indent otherwise.Would definitely recommend it though.

Love that this cake ring is adaptable, saves you buying lots of different sized items. What I have noticed however is that it can loosen so I tend to tie string around it to make sure it doesn't do this when I'm filling it.

Cannot fault this product, Needed one urgently, Could not get one within 20 miles. Good old Amazon to the rescue. If you want to make gateau's, that the cookery programs on the telly show, then this is the product to buy

I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.The only misgiving is the seam which can interfere with the smoothness of the contents, e.g cheese cake or layering of mousse and cake. But can be smoothed out.

Bought this for cakes. It is reasonably priced, but I am not sure how long it will last.It’s great that it can change the size depending on the cake, otherwise it’s not practical to have too many rings.

I use to bake fresh cream cake so need to layer my cake in different size this item is so helpful and neatly help me to reach the level I desire.

Easy to use but doesn’t quite get the same defined shape as a dedicated size ring. However saves a fortune over buying them all separately.

quite good just a problem with keeping the circle together the clips on the side are not tight enough to keep the ring closed tight ...

Great ring. Never used any like that before. But it's really super easy to use and my mouse and yogurt cakes comes perfect with it

This ring will close down from 12 inch to 4 inch. Iusually tie string around it to keep it from expanding when baking.
