I was looking to get better lenses and everyone i know all suggested the 70-200. I was stuck between getting the old version and this one. Never had a 70-200 so i decided to go with this one as most my photography is out doorAfter borrowing a friends previous version, after receiving my lens, of the f4 v1 and f2.8 v3 i would say that the IS is way better on this version and surprised they did not add the same IS to the f2.8 v3. I have no issues with getting sharp images on a 800D at 200mm with IS on. the IS on this lens is the best i have experienced.The AF on this lens is faster than the previous version with instant focus. The zoom and focus rings are able to be used with 1 finger with no issue.Really happy with this lens.

This would complete my full-frame lens line-up, but the price for the tripod mount ring is excessive, and it really should be included with the lens. I'll wait until they come packaged.
