Most campers will be familiar with the cooking stoves which use the same butane cartridge. So the gas side is very similar and well proven. This heater design is very stable and the flap to the gas compartment stays closed. Unlike the more recent and more upright plastic design of heater where the plastic gas flap tends to flop open and while of more pleasing appearance can never be as stable.Not the cheapest way of keeping a chill off the greenhouse or outbuilding but very clean and convenient. Its temping to use it indoors in an emergency. If tempted be aware that unlike gas stoves designed for indoors it lacks an oxygen sensor so make sure you have a CO alarm and maintain adequate

Love this little heater, I wanted some thing that would instantly heat up as I only need it to pop outside as I smoke and the I needed or elec ones need plugging in but this I just grab it take it with me and turn on.. easy to turn on it reaches about 2 meters as I'm outside would warm a few people as I've only used if with one other person so far. it's basicly a mini gas fire like the old school ones in homes... within seconds you can feel the warmth and that's what I needed so very pleased with it. I've had it just over a month and used 1 can so it lasts a long time as I use it several times a day for 5 to 10 mins and had it on half an hour here and there.

This works really well for the price, its a bit cumbersome to get lit in the first place however once its going its absolutely fine. We put this in our awning (obviously away from the sides) and in the evening it provides enough heat for a couple of adults in deck chairs to sit outside when its a bit chilly.Its really not much use for internally as its got no thermostatic cut out etc so you very quickly go into melt down mode.The base does get a little warm so it cant be sat on dry grass, carpet or a tent base with any degree of safety however we combated this using a paving slab as a base and it was fine for a 4am blast to get the temperature up.

Having read some of the negative reviews, I feared the worst. However I was very pleasantly surprised, the appliance seems well made. The gas canister I bought fitted perfectly and the instruction for installation and use were very clear. When it cam to switching off, once again the instructions were clear and concise. I have only used it a few times, but I am hopeful that it will remain a useful addition to our autumn outdoor heating regime.

This little gas fire is simple to use and effective. I used it to keep the damp at bay in my motorhome during the worst days of the winter. A compatible canister of gas lasted between 3 and four hours at the highest setting, keeping the temperature at a level which was comfortable. As I said, the heater protected the van, and indoor contents, from damp. Recommended..

Love the size and it really does throw out a reasonable amount of heat into a small to medium space. The igniter doesn’t work on ours, which appears to be a common fault, other than that, a great addition to the winter camping kit - use responsibly!!!

Easy to use to start with but then ignition decided not to work then it did again. So bit temperamental. Struggled to source the required A4 mixed gas. Other than that it’s a great powerful little gas heater.

Heats bathroom, one cylinder lasts approx. 3 baths or 3 CDs. It would be even better if it had come with a page of proper instructions instead of yards of greenie stuff that no one ever reads

Used for heating a gazebo when the weather turned cold and I still wanted to entertain out of doors. They are a lovely design, very easy to use. Small and light but really throw out the heat.

The only thing which is not good about this heater his portable gas cartridge , which can last only for an hour even if you keep it on low heat level. Apart from them heater is fine.

Great value for money and a very easy to use little heater. Heat out put is very good, we have been using it in gazebo to take chill off later on at night and it does the job.

Product works great, emits a good volume of heat for a good period of time. Kept 3 families warm during an extreme camping weekend, where the weather was wet and cold.

bought this because it said buildings could be warmed in the amazon write up, but i had to sent it back because the instructions said "outdoor use only"

We use this for a quick blast of heat in our motorhome. The cannisters are easily available at Halfords. It’s dinky, sturdy and good value.

Well made. Gas canisters usually last between an hour or two. Not too heavy, handle to carry. Pleased with purchase
