Having bought an element based gas heater and stopped using it due to dune emission (loud sputtering at the hot element plates) I thought I’d try again with this catalytic element gas heater (at twice the price of ordinary heaters). We had a similar one when I was a child and it lasted many a year. When this arrived it was without a pipe and regulator so I cannibalised the old heater (using hair dryer to soften the tube to the regulator) and got going within a few minutes. Obviously gas pipe and regulator will add to the cost. Anyhow, it burns very quietly, no noticeable fumes, good heat output (possibly 3kW is noticeably cooler than a 4kW heater but we all need to use less fuel).

Tried some cheap ones. This one just works. Ignition is so much easier than others, heats up very quickly and heats my Marquee up 4x8m ( using in the winter) wonderfully. It easily maintains the temp in the room, no smell no Carbon Monoxide ( I have bought and placed a CO meter next to it). I can put the Butane Cylinder inside but I find it just as easy to place it next to it. It doesn't glow red hot - it doesn't need to, it just splits out heat. I use it on Max and it lasts about 2 weeks on 15kg of gas, which is perfectly fine for working in a Marquee as a classroom during a pandemic - working office hours. It doesn't come with a regulator and hose, but they cheap,

Pretty decent heater overall (excluding longevity as it's only new)The good :No smell, very quiet (see attached video) and good heat on high and medium. As its too cold atm I haven't really had it on its lowest setting.The bad :No regulator or tubingOnly 3kw unlike other more common super cers that are 4.2kw (not actually a massive difference and saves gas too)Assembly requiredSummery :I would recommend this heater due to the fact it does give off decent heat with little to no smell. I took apart an old super cér to get the regulator and tubing from it. Fairly simple job using a hair dryer to heat the tube to get it off and back on the new heater. Took about 30 minutes in total.

This is a fantastic heater, a real solution to our needs. I am happy that the heat output is as advertised as it heats our space effortlessly and highly efficiently. It does this without condensation which is a real boon. I am happy to highly recommend this heater to anyone - make sure to follow installation and operating instructions ?

i am an engineer, common fault with these particular heaters is that it will not light as mine did not, the ignition wire simply falls off in transit, just gently push it back onto pin on pilot jet underneath

Great heat output. Keeps my conservatory cosy and warm.Best of all there is none of the usual smell associated with portable gas fires as this is 100% efficient.Really pleased and would highly recommend.

Very pleased with the heater, no smell, very low CO, loads of heat, start on high then switch to medium heat allow to warm up catalyst then back to high if you really need to

Quality, realiable,quite,efficient, don't buy cheaper heaters as I found out. Very happy well done Orbegozo this knocks spots of cheaper competitors.

Good heater, excellent value for money and heats my lounge really well. You need to buy the valve separately to connect the gas bottle.

Plenty of heat output and seems to be quite efficient. Only downside is the difficulty of fitting a hose and regulator (not supplied).

Nothing more to add. It heats up and apart from a stiff control when hot its' ok.
