Probably the most important issue when you buy such a heater is does it do the job, well I can say it definitely generates plenty of heat and quickly warms up a cold workshop (garage size). You would need something larger to heat a bigger space on a cold day. It does have a few issues though, 1. the bracket that connects the heater to the bottle is weak and does a poor job in its primary task, I have used heavy duty tape to ensure my heater stays in the position it is supposed to, 2. the gas control knob is not clearly marked to show start position and can result in a large flashback if not properly set. Once you learn how to ignite safely then you will be ok.Limited or little instruction came with my heater so had to work it out myself. In saying that there is a decent range of heat settings that go from modest to burning very hot which is useful when getting into your cold workshop first thing, you can moderate the heat settings as the rooms warms up.All in all it does the job, generates good heat but please be aware of its foibles,

this is a very good heater and a bargain at the £40 price .you can vary how hot you would like it from max heat to more refined.the bracket for me is very good other reviews say its flimsy i dont agree it is fine for me and does the job it was made to do very well, very easy to fit and very easy to take off the bottle when changing bottle.the heat out of it is very good for the size of it .if i was to be very picky you use the gas bottle to turn it off so it does not have its own regulator on the heater this has been mentioned in the reviews however i really dont see a problem with turning it off at the bottle which for me has major safety benefits that way.for the price it is a steal if youwant a heater with all the other options then prepare to spend a lot more money,,i have 5 starred this product and am happy to do so. great product *****

I bought this to heat my block built shed which is approx 14' x 10' x 9'. It really punches out some heat after a couple of minutes on high setting I have to turn it to low. With freezing conditions outside the (badly insulated and draughty shed stays very warm.I did have some misgivings but these have been proved unfounded and am really pleased with it and feel it was more than worth the money. The only minor fault I can find is the bracket that holds the gas adjusting knob is a bit thin.I cant comment on how it will wear as I have only used it for a week but 5 stars up to now.

Good in most respects except the instructions for fitting the heater bracket on to the cylinder. All the instructions and photographs show the bracket fitted so that the side with the two thumb screws is outermost and the single screw is behind the cylinder flange. In fact the design has changed (or was mine built incorrectly?) and the only way to get a safe, stable fixing is to have the single thumb screw on the outside. If in doubt match the shape of the bracket to the photographs and fix accordingly.

Straight to the point no messing heater low heat good out put made to be economical hig heat holy s... hot heats my freezer i mean garage in no time to fit temperature to spray paint , its only weakness I wish it was variable temperature from lower smoothly to max temp with a half temp marker or click , but its not something id take points off for its good job no messing no apologies heater that can heat well fast in big areas that are really cold normally.

Don’t get me wrong.. I’ll say good quality, quickly delivered, and recommended! The bracket could be more substantial though, and it wouldn’t be described as universal amongst propane bottles due to differences in the lips/tops/handles.If you’re prepared to put up with a suspect mount, or fabricate an adaptor, it’s fine, but realise that you are still using matches or similar.Definitely worth having, but only 4/5.

We used this to heat our attic after re-plastering. The heater fits to a gas bottle with enclosed fittings and although it doesn't look great, its functional and very useful. Great price too. We are going to use it on a new gas bottle outside as a patio heater once the weather warms up. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a cheap way to heat a space.

Wish I'd bought one years ago.. great in the workshop on winters nights.. provided you're relatively close to it (within 8-10 feet). Just clamps on the top of a standard gas bottle and away you go. You have to ignite with a lighter or match as there's no igniter built in but that's a minor problem... providing you've got a lighter or match!!

Heater came complete with valves, regulator and hose all assembled and ready to hook up to the propane bottle with ease. Really effective in bringing the allotment sheds, (10 x 8 ft and 8 x 6ft joined together) up from 5 degrees C to about 15 degress C in a short time on a low setting. Great winter warmth for tea drinking.

Great little space heater, only let down by the fiddly gas bottle 'locking' mechanism that holds it to the bottle handle. A little more thought should have went into this i.e. curved handle doesn't like a flat locking bar ?Apart from having to re-engineer that, no problems with item at all. Does what it says on the box!

Great heater, Warms up very quickly, BUT..... very poor design for attaching it to the gas bottle, not a big problem if you are adept at metalworking and can adapt it to a stronger design. You'll need to be able to drill and tap screw threads in steel or do a bit of brazing or welding.Otherwise ... Great.

The part that attaches to bottle!well I did did not as I attached to a bracket I made for on wall of shed out of the way a piece of one by 2 batten about 2.5inches long the three butterfly screw ins are good it’s attached solid.wish I could knock one side off and just have one side ticking over

Bought it for my very cold gym garage. My garage is around 20sqm. Morning temperature around 5 degrees. After 15 min a full power it raises the temperature to 11 degrees which is ideal for workout. At the beginning had a very strong smell but went away after 45 mins of use. Highly recommended.

Based on reviews I ordered this, I'm currently working in a warehouse with no electricity, so not wanting to buy a generator this seemed the ideal solution. I'm very pleased with the efficiency and heat it produces for such a small heater - I have & would recommend

Excellent heat. A little pricey due to coming from UK. The propane threads are different than US bottles. Same thread pitch, but slightly larger diameter. All in all, a good heater and you can't find ceramic heaters like this in the US anymore.
