The glass is good and works well to keep the tea hot. I use it for loose green tea. The infuser's holes are large enough that some tea "escapes" into the glass. It would be better if it were a fine mesh infuser. I haven't put it in a dishwasher yet, so I don't know if the glass will "leak" and allow water to enter the air-tight barrier like it did with my coffee cup.

This is a quality product and works better than anything i have used before for a single cup of tea. I use it at work daily.
