Was needing an extra external hard drive to store the vast amount of movies I have on my desktop as well as being portable enough to just carry about and plug into a laptop or pc and watch them. This Platinum MyDrive is fantastic, its so small and thin, makes no noise at all, no power cable needed as its usb powered and the colour is incredible, exactly as seen in the photo.

I was a little hesitant ordering as I hadn't heard of the Company before. No problems though, worked straight out of the box, just had to plug in. The double headed lead foxed me at first, but I plugged the long one in and it worked. My computer bloke tells me that the short one is there if you need extra power.

This works well, cannot comment on any issues about its longevity as I have been using for only 3 weeks. Seems to work very efficiently and an excellent solution to using an external hard drive that required mains power - I have recently moved from using a desktop to laptop so this was vital for me.

I use this all the time it is such a good investment. I have all of my back-up work on this and all of my students assignsments. suh agood wee device.

this was bought as a gift, and the device performs well, averaging a decent mb rate for moving files and content between media players and pc's!

Does exactly what I need, external hard drive for HD films, its small and compact, no power lead required, powers up using USB cable
