I bought this Belkin cover over a month ago from a high street for £35 which on reflection was £10 too much for what it is. Still I think it is better value than the official branded black smart covers.The Folio is certainly thin and has a useful stand arrangement in landscape mode which works both on your lap and in tabletop situations but ofers nothing for portrait viewing. It does completely cover the device and the stitched folded edge also provides an additional protection. It could benefit from an elastic strap to keep the display cover in place in both open and closed positions, like those found on some paper journals. Fortunately I have a tight fitting carry bag which keeps the fold over cover closed in transit.Maybe some magnets could be built in like the apple cover. The Folio on it's own is not enough for anything more than short walks to another office meeting.After this length of time with the Folio I must say I don't like using the iPad2 without it; the case does eliminate the slippery bar of soap the naked unit has, introducing a nice level friction preventing any unwanted sliding about. Also the Folio is now showing some increased flexibility after 6 weeks (softening?) around the folds allowing some skewing of the cover which at the moment is ok but I wonder what this will be like in a few months. Again an elastic strap would help here. One distraction from the start has been the way the iPad is held in correct position inside the case, it tends with use not to remain bedded far enough in, by this I mean looking in landscape mode, with cover fold at the top & home button to the left, you have to make sure the iPad is kept pushed right down with the securing flap of the folio tucked in hard underneath the iPad. It could perhaps do with a slightly longer inner flap to reduce this loosening. If the iPad moves a little the home button becomes obscured by the semicircular cut-out and likewise the camera (rear facing) can be slightly eclipsed by its cut-out. However this is one thing that is improving with use as the stiffer materials in the case yield a bit more to the iPad shape.After all that I would probably buy the slim Folio again if this one got damaged and maybe the one with the red lining which I only saw just last week.

This product was very useful the iPad 3 fits snug into the tight pocket and the magnet inside turns the iPad into standby when closed. Best buy so far for my iPad. Do not listen to the stuff about it not closing because when holding it when closed you hold the front anyway and it will go into a handbag perfectly fine and any other bag for that matter and if it gets dirty just remove the iPad and with a sponge or cloth and some hot water just give it a wash and leave to dry in a cool place simple. Don't listen to other reviews they will be from people who expect quality cheap products but this product you get what you pay for very good and very neat please buy.

Your ipad has to be encouraged into the Belkin cover, but once in, it is well protected and works perfectly, sitting comfortably and securely on the lap or a table at a variety of angles - you choose. Sure, you have to be careful to line up your charger to fit it into the ipad, but that's hardly a big deal for a slim, pleasantly leathery cover that both protects the ipad from the bumps of family and working life and allows the user to set it up at any convenient working position. One was a present for my wife and the other for my 90 year old mother, both of whom love it because it works well with their ipads.

Very pleased indeed with this product. Not as expensive as a lot of the covers, but this one is extremely versatile. Protects the Ipad but also works as stand on the desk. very neat and stylish, excellent buy.

Bought the case for my iPad 2012 and i'm very satisfied. Fits very good, colour is excelent, offers great protection andthe iPad can be used in so many ways. You won't regret!
