This is a really sturdy stand. It does weigh a lot but that contributes to it's standing position. I use it with visually impaired individuals and we place an ipad on it and have it facing towards papers or letters beneath so that we can enlarge it for the text to be easier read. They need an app now though that is a magnifier that inverts and works well - that would be a real bonus!

Bought this for school and alternative to visualiser. Slotted in ASUS VivoTab which was connected to the projected and hey presto a visualiser/document camera.

This does fine in the classroom on a short lead. but beware setting up Apple TV toGo with it if your school uses a proxy server.
