If you have shelled out well over 1K or will do so over the new contract for your i-phone XR then this inexpensive screen protector , if not a genuine lifesaver, is certainly a cash, screen, insurance premium and reselling lifesaver. It could be the best insurance against breaking or damaging your screen. If you have an iPhone XR then this package could be one of your best investments. In fact in a way it is an investment that should repay its outlay many times over in the future which I will explain below.I’ve had my screens in place since I got my phone.During that time I’ve kept it in my pockets with keys, coins and other sharp stuff and each and every time it comes out clear and scratch free.BUT I have dropped my phone a couple of times and the screen has taken a few knocks at the edges. So I removed it and found the screen underneath pristine. This is an amazingly effective protector for your phone.Let's face it if you've shelled out well over a thousand plus change on your phone or entered a 24 month contract it pays top protect it.This screen protector is the finest protection that you can get and if it saves your screen it really is a bargain especially if you eventually come to sell your precious phone in the future- Yes I know you love it right now but when the Siren’s call of the new I-phone comes around we all know what happens? Yeah Right. So this device could and should pay for itself many times over for the resale value of your phone. It is ultra clear- you won't know it's there (unless it has done its job and protected your screen) Now Belkin have done something more they've tweaked the chemical bonding of the glass to make it stronger than others than came before. -Hence that high price. It's easy to clean. a simple rub down when needed. Now I cannot stress how important this is, really clean it twice and ensure there is no dust around.A fellow reviewer suggested doing this in the bathroom after turning on the shower to catch any of the little dust devils. One mote of dust means a bubble under the glass pure and simple. The protection is phenomenal and I do not use that expression lightly. If you drop your phone the protective screen may be damaged BUT not the phone's screen..The protective screen takes the force and saves the phones screen. Now in one of my jobs I toured various shops and visited the staffrooms. The young staff all had the latest phones which they left on the staff room table. You would be amazed at how many I saw that had damaged screens ranging from small chips to massive shatters. The phones were simply given so much 'hammer' by the staff with little thought as to the value. Now if they all had used this cheap device their phones would have been in if not the top class condition but really good. This screen takes most of the knocks, drops, chips, clunks, splash, and.. well you name it that you can throw at it.Now if you are like me and you actually look after your stuff (having paid for it yourself unlike the Bank of Mum and Dad) you may think that you don't need to shell out for protection? You have insurance for that sort of thing?Yes but if you do actually drop your phone twice and it saves the phone you will have lost a tad under £25 and not your no claims

Having used a Belkin screen protector before on my iPhone SE, I thought I'd try another on my iPhone X.Applying the screen protector was exactly the same process and couldn't be easier. To start with you use the included cloth to clean off any fingerprints and smudges, followed by using the dust removal sticker. The trick is to make sure that your screen is completely clean of any residue and dust, even the tiniest speck of dust can cause bubbles when the protector is applied. If possible, it's best to clean the screen in a well lit room so that you can see if it's clean or not. After the cleaning stage you need to insert the phone into the plastic tray that comes with the screen protector hinged at one end.The phone perfectly fits into the tray and may require a small push to ensure that it fits in tightly. Then it's just a simple process of removing the backing from the screen protector and folding it over to cover the phone, ensuring that it's aligned correctly. The tray makes all this easy and I didn't encounter any problems with alignment.Once applied you need to then smooth out any air pockets and make sure that the adhesive bonds to the screen of your phone. I used the cleaning cloth to rub out a few stubborn air bubbles, there were one or two really difficult ones to get out. If you rub hard and consistently for a good few minutes you should be able to remove any and all air bubbles if there are any. What you're left with is a perfectly applied and perfectly fitted screen protector. This goes more or less to the edges and has a small cutout for the camera area, it works with most cases as long as they don't cover the edge of the screen too much. It feels nice and smooth to the touch and is as responsive as using the touchscreen directly. You can hardly tell that there's a screen protector fitted to the phone.Having used a Belkin before I can attest to the fact that these are hardwearing and once stuck don't peel off easily like some cheaper ones. You may think that £35 is a lot to pay for a screen protector, but you only need to buy once and have for the life of your phone. Assuming it doesn't become the victim of any nasty drops of course. You know what they say, buy cheap, buy twice. Highly recommended if you want a good quality screen protector that will protect your device as long as you have it.EDIT: Since using this screen protector I changed my phone to an iPhone XR and used a Belkin screen protector on it, one without curved edges. It still fit the phone quite well aside from not covering the whole display, fitted in exactly the same manner and didn't have any issues.

I can't comment on the general or impact protection on this as I am not about to drop or hit my phone to find out. The review is for fitting only. If I drop my phone, I'll re-edit and put some feedback here as to how it copes. The protector comes in a tray which you basically drop your phone into, lay down the protector which is on a hinge and as you lower it you line up some tabs to ensure it is on correctly and job done. I advise watching the youtube video you get a link for and to do a few dry runs. You need to make sure your screen is meticulously clean and a cloth and dust remover are provided. Mine was a little more straightforward as it was a brand new phone with screen cover still in place.Be careful to put the phone in the tray the right way in the tray as there are cut outs on the rear to allow for the camera protrusion and the protector is shaped so as not to interfere with the camera.I did a few practice runs and all was good. I then removed my existing screen cover and dropped the phone into the tray whereupon is stuck to the hinge and it started to go wrong. Fortunately, I was able to wriggle it into place before dust could cling to the screen. You then remove the film layer from the protector and close it onto the screen. At this point it looked like there were dozens of air bubbles, but this is the top layer protector that holds the line up tab. When this was removed I was flabbergasted. Not one single air bubble, nada, zilch, zero, no bubble chasing for me. I have put many screen protectors on and I have always had at least 2 air bubbles that needed chasing out and the occasional dust particle that won't budge.Bottom line: not quite as easy as some I have used, but the effort was worth the end result. Doesn't interfere with the lens, face or iris recognition, S-pen and touch control. If you have a wallet type cover with credit cards that touch the screen, you will need one of these as hey will eventually mark the screen.

I had another screen protector installed on my phone before being offered this one, but the old one had cracked in more than one place, and it was time to replace it. My problem was just that I have spent too much money in the past on screen protectors that only work for maybe a month or so and it has not mattered much whether they were expensive or cheap, branded or not.I have had both good and bad experiences with Belkin, but I jumped at the opportunity to try this one out due to the timing.First of all. The alignment tray and installation procedure really is very easy and straight forward. Do make sure to read the instructions carefully when installing - even if you have done it many times before.Following the instructions will give the best and most reliable result and might extend the life of the screen protector. The protector fits precisely - although it was almost a bit too close to the selfie camera for comfort.I have a phone cover on the phone as well and there is a little line between the cover and the screen protector that collects a lot of dirt and dust, but it seems to be difficult to avoid.I have not experienced any lack of response or any other slowness as a result of this screen protector. I had already changed the settings to work as well as possible with a protector due to my previous installation, so that might have helped. There is an insert in the Belkin packaging explaning how to get the best response when the protector is on, and I would recommend following those instructions.I will update if I experience any issues with this protector.

This is a thick screen protector. If you’re inclined to drop you phone or drop things on your phone then its worth it to keep it protected. However I find you need a lot firmer press on the screen and scrolling through apps is not as easy, although you do become adjusted to this. The pen writes on the screen just as well, and the visibility seems no different to me.The product comes with pictorial instructions for application and a link to a youtube video of a very similar product. Basically there is a lint free cloth and a sticker to remove dust. My phone was covered in greasy finger marks so I precleaned it first with an alcoholic wipe I have for camera lenses, then wiped with the cloth just prior to applying the film. The product comes with a shaped phone holder. This is really useful to align the phone and hold it straight whilst putting on the film. It has precut holes at one end, to match the phone so you just have to check it’s the right way up. You then peel the inner protector layer onto the phone and use the cloth to remove any air bubbles. This worked well, much better than when trying to get films on the back of camera screens I never get them perfectly fitted or with one some dust. You then peel off the other later and you’re done. If you have your phone with a back protector case you’ll most likely need to take it out of the case prior to the cleaning as it may not fit in the holder with it on.

This is the second tempered glass screen protector I've used in my Samsung S8, after my first one by TateGuard cracked. So far I'm quite pleased with it.It was very quick and easy to apply - easier than the TateGuard one - due to the tray which holds the phone tightly in the correct place and allows you to only place the screen protector in the exact right position. There were only a couple of small bubbles after application and these smoothed out easily. The protector looks quite sleek and not very noticeable from the front of the phone, however when you turn it to the side you can see the black outline along the sides of the protector which takes unfortunately away from the beauty of the phone's curved sides. In use,the protector doesn't hamper the touch screen too much although I have noticed more of a drag than with my previous screen protector, when swiping. It's not enough to be too annoying but it is present. It also makes the phone less sensitive at the sides and stops you from so easily using the side swipe functions. The screen protector works fine with my Spigen phone case, and together they provide comprehensive protection for my phone when it's in my bag.Overall this is easy to apply, doesn't stop me using my case, and works reasonably well, but clear sides instead of black and less drag when swiping would make this five stars instead of four.

The only thing I didn't like about this was the excessive packaging. Yes, it's very nice, but having magnets to keep a flap over the front is over the top, and inside there was more plastic than the Fisher Price factory.Grumble over, let's get onto the experience. My current screen protector is peeling off and chipped, so I wanted to replace it. Took the old one off, cleaned my phone using the cloth provided with this protector, slipped it into the template and put the new protector on. This came with the screen protector pre-attached to the template in exactly the right position. It's pretty difficult to mess this up. Peel of the backing, plonk it on the phone and let it attach.Oh no!A dusk particle underneath. Quickly lift it up again and use the sticker provided to remove the dust particle. Drop the protector back into place and let it stick down. I pushed away any bubbles using a credit card and was happy that there was no dust. All you do it then pull off the film over the front of the protector and pop your phone from the template. In use I find it barely noticeable to using the screen without a protector. An easy install, and very pleased with the results. Highly recommended over the cheaper varieties. This didn't come with any 'wet' cleaners, but the cloth was enough to clean my screen.

It may seem a little expensive next to the plastic screen covers and some other glass ones, but the Belkin ScreenForce is well worth a look thanks to the quality and the application method. Now if you've ever tried to put on a standard screen protector, you'll know that the process of lining it up, dusting it off and then hoping for the best result is hit or miss. Belkin have provided a neat solution here; a plastic tray that you slot the iphone X into, with a flap that contains the screen protector and an arrow to line it up. Simply wipe the screen (I find shining a torch on it ensures there are no dust particles which can lead to bubbles), tear off the inside strip and line up the arrow with the one at the bottom. Then tear off the top layer and it's done. Worked perfectly first time. The screen protector itself looks fantastic, with a thin line around it to protect the edges and prevent pealing. It looks almost invisible head on, too and feels just like the screen does without a protector on. It doesn't interfere with cases as it's made to exactly fit the edges of the device. The only issue here is the potential plastic use, it would have been nice to see the tray made of tough recylced card, like thick egg box material, which would provide the same results, but this is nit picking, really.

So I never ever buy a screen protector or a case for my phone… I’m one of these people (sad or not) who believe you shouldn’t have a beautiful piece of aluminium and glass and then stick a poorly fitting piece of glass to the front of it...This screen protector caught my eye however... curved edges and better coverage... so I gave it a shot...WOW, just wow! I can’t say just how phenomenally impressed with this I am. The fact the edges are curved and go around the screen slightly (not all the way to the rubber/aluminium) is aesthetically breathtaking! No rough lip on the glass here!! Even when swiping up from the bottom of the phone! It’s almost invisible and I’m beyond happy with it!The instructions to fit it were straight forward, and the use of the dust removal sticker was essential. Even tho the glass looked clean with the cloth, there was still debris on the sticker!I got three air bubbles on the screen, one came out fine, the other two needed me to use a fine scalpel blade to lift the glass, and then used a card to press it out. It’s now fitted PERFECT, it’s almost invisible, you barely feel it when touching the sides of the phone and there’s NO noticeable difference in screen sensitivity!

First screen protector I've had no problems with and went on 100% perfectly.Mew iPhone 11 Max Pro - I left the original film as supplied by Apple until this arrived. Prior to fixing was mildly concerned the tray was for the XS Max and is shaped specifically for the back of that so the camera bump is different. However the 11 Pro Max fitted into the aperture perfectly so that worry was gone.I'd already watched the video but from past experience knew the principle of cleaning dust and how the screen is applied. As I had never removed the original film there was no need to clean or use the dust sticker (so keeping them in case I need them in the future). Peeled off the inner layer of protection, matched the green tab to the marker and the protector went well and truly into place. Removed the upper protection - no bubbles, perfect application. Pleased with both the product and myself for finally achieving a protector where I don't spend hours gently pushing out the bubbles which don't want to go!I can't comment of course on durability and if there are future problems I will return and amend this review but as far as applying a screen, having this tray is the best solution.

This is by far the most expensive screen protector for the Note 9 that I have seen but I have tried two others, the Caseflex Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Screen Protector Glass (£6.95) and the Only lify [2 PACK] Galaxy NOTE 9 Screen Protector Galaxy NOTE 9 Screen Tempered Glass HD Clear Protective Film, Tempered Glass 3D Arc Face (£11.99 for the 2 pack). each of these took just one slip of the hand, fell a short distance and were cracked. They were tricky to fit and although I managed successfully, I thought it must be a problem of the infinity screen. The Belkin may be £33.68, but it comes with a simple kit to fix to your phone which makes it incredibly easy to install. It fits just as well as the others and is definitely working with my Samsung Original Clear View Standing Cover Case for Galaxy Note 9. It includes a 2-year warranty in countries outside the USA (Lifetime Guarantee in the USA). The Only lify was not particularly sensitive. The Caseflex was better, but neither compares well with the Belkin. I have no intention of dropping my very expensive phone deliberately to test its impact protection, but if I have any problems, I will be returning to this review.

Pricey then other screen protectors but well worth it considering the cost of the phone! I've tried a couple on my Note8 and this one is by far the best.I found other curved ones, which unlike this one, didn't have enough adhesion down the sides, made the phone partially unresponse, collected dust and popped off, while others didn't cover the screen sufficiently or suffered from bubbles, the rainbow effect or finger smudges. This one from Belkin feels lovely to the touch, sensitivity is great and no visual added bulk, though it is thicker then other protectors out their. It was really easy to install especially aligning with the installation tray - just make sure to take plenty of time clearing all dust before applying and squeeze out any bubbles.I've dropped my phone a number of times, most recently a horrible drop onto it's edge on to a concrete pavement on a hill! This protector (and the cover I have) took the full force of the drop and subsequent roll. My phone is absolutely fine and the screen protector stayed in place and only has just a small hair line crack in the corner. So glad I invested in this and about to buy another!

have installed it myself and while there is some patience involved it is well worth the extra time and effort for the end result. The fingerprint sensor works very well the screen looks just as If you where looking at the original. Touch sensitivity is perfect and s pen also work no problems very happy with product. Everything is given that you need protector, glue,UV lamp, gloves, wipes, cloths and instructions would say watch video too. The installation could be slightly tricky, but it should not be an issue if you take your time to see the tutorial and follow the steps. The only and major downside is the on-screen fingerprint scanner could be temperamental after the installation. However,as I use face unlock most of the time, it does not really bother me at all.The screen protector is amazing and you can hardly tell that it is present on my phone.I am happy in the knowledge that my £1099 phone screen is protected. It's a little more fiddly than a normal tempered glass to fit as this requires liquid glue and a u.v light to cure. However if you watch a few youtube videos and follow the instructions you should be ok.

Until I tried this product I had tried four different brands of S8, self-styled 'case friendly' screen protectors. All very quickly, ended up being pushed up by the case protecting the rear of my phone - vastly reducing touch sensitivity of the screen until almost unusable and finally cracking.Although this Belkin screen protector HAS now cracked (just as all the others did), the very small crack may well this time have been due to abuse and I cannot fault the protector - more importantly, the screen functions as well as if it had no such protector. The Belkin also has an excellent system for application: you place your phone into the packaging and the screen protector is lowered precisely over the phone, giving an exact fit. However! - Look at that PRICE!? Regrettably, I must say that it IS still worth the money, since no other competitor seems to have been able to get this product right, but wow! That is a lot of money. If you need a more budget solution, I'd consider either a plastic screen protector or a case which covers the screen, but if you choose the better aesthetic: get this screen protector.

This glass is very unusual as it has a surround which should help the glass stick more effectively to the edge of the iPhone X screen. This has been an issue with my previous iPhone X screen protector.Applying the screen protector only took a couple of minutes. I cleaned the screen with the enclosed microfibre cloth and removed dust using the Dust Removal Sticker. I then inserted my iPhone X into the alignment tray, which was a tight fit but ensured that there was no slack. The alignment guide has a set of double arrows to align the top layer perfectly, to within 1 mm. This is far more accurate than any other screen protector I have used. The device was then ready for immediate use.The screen protector did not interfere with the use of either my SnakeHive Wallet Case or Belkin Bumper case. Once the case was applied, the edge of the screen protector seemed to blend into the case.My experience so far is that the ScreenForce Tempered Curve is a pleasure to use and retains the same touch sensitivity as the unprotected iPhone X glass screen. It is expensive but so is a replacement iPhone X screen.
