This is a shower gel for men. I tested it myself but I feel that this fragrance is very masculine, it smells like a men’s cologne or a fragrance that I have smelled in other men’s products but is hard to describe. I did not smell citrus or musk even though the product states that is the fragrance. My teen son is now using this. None of us really loves the fragrance so we are knocking it down to four stars. Some people may accuse this is an old man scent or a cheap cologne fragrance.This product has SLSA which is an agent to increase the bubbles. In order to get good bubbles and to get good coverage to use this you must use a shower poof.

This Baxter of California body wash is a lightly sudsing formula w a really nice smell. My husband was using this, and I am using this now as well, because I like the scent so much. I don't think it needs to be just for men. The scent is stronger in the bottle and shower, but doesn't last and is not really noticeable once you're dry, so it won't interfere with your colognes or fragrances if you use them. This bottle is an ample size and should last awhile. What I also like about this is the non-drying formula. This doesn't strip my skin at all, and I don't feel the need to immediately lotion-up as soon as i'm out of the shower, because this leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

There really is little to criticize Baxter Body Wash. It is a clear liquid that is easily dispensed from the pump bottle. The smell is great. I don't think it lingers as long as others have said, but that's okay with me. My wife has used it too, and she likes the gentleness of the wash. It does not dry the skin like most soaps. I usually apply it with my hands or a cloth. You really don't need a lot to work up a good lather. It will sting your eyes, but not like some shampoos. I normally use Molton Brown which is more expensive per ounce. So it may be a good value when you're looking at high-end washes. I may like to try out some of their other products too.

While this is out of my everyday price range for body wash, if you're hoping to rationalize it, do know that it goes way farther than the equivalent in drugstore stuff. One squirt on a poof or washcloth makes enough rich lather for a generous shower.The scent is wonderful: herbal, musky, orangy, with a masculine vibe that isn't too colonge-y for a woman as well. The fragrance also fades reasonably quickly in the general environment, which is definitely a good thing: cheap men's body wash can make you regret taking a drive with the user right after a shower. This won't overwhelm the nose, but smells nice if you're right up against the skin.

I have never rushed out to buy a product like I did for this body wash! I got a sample of this in a BirchBox and within the first 5 seconds knew this was going to be a new favorite. The Citrus & Herbal Musk scent is very reminiscent of Terre d’Hermes, one of my favorite colognes, and this pairs and layers with it beautifully. The smell alone is 5 starts. But, it’s also an awesome body wash! Rich leather that cleans without stripping, leaving your skin feeling moist and fresh, and never waxy or squeaky like some soaps and body washes. Put it all together, and I am in love.

I initially bought this shower gel version of the soap but was disappointed with the lack of lather it produced, though the smell was amazing and lasted for several hours. So I went and bit the bullet and bought the bar soap version. The lather of the bar soap is unreal and the scent is amazing. However, the scent doesn't last as long on the body compared to the shower gel, so it's a trade off. At the end of the day I prefer the bar soap version. Though the scent doesn't linger as long, the foaming action is ridiculously good and that for me is important.

This has a very mild, pleasant smell and is easy to apply. My wife says I smell good after I use it, so I can't ask for more than that! The smell is not overpowering but it does linger- I can smell it on my arm 12 hours later.It says that it "Lathers up" but that's not true: you will get mild suds at best. And the dispenser puts out way too little product per pump. I usually have to pump 4-5 times before there is enough to spread over my body.My primary compliment is that this reminds me of the body wash I'd get if I stayed in a very fancy hotel.

First of all I like the fact that the scent is not overpowering. This body wash works well, feels good going on and off. I like the idea of a pump bottle, sometimes you cannot get all the wash out of the container. I do not expect a problem in this case. I have tried other Baxter of California products and have always been pleased with them. While the price is a bit higher than most products on the market. I feel the fact that the scent being much less obvious than many other ones you encounter makes this almost worth the price.

I really appreciate so many companies being more conscientious of the ingredients they put in their products. This bodywash is sulfate free and paraben free. Also it has vitamin E and Jojoba oil to help leave skin moisturized. My husband really likes the scent, its a light citrus and a pretty heavy musk. Perfect for the men in our lives who hate our floweryand sweet bodywashes. It lathers up well and feels like it rinses pretty clean.

I love the smell of this soap, so masculine and pleasant. The scent doesn't remain strong for long, but you can smell it on your skin for quite some time if you check closely. I've just come back from a trip using using hotel soap so my skin was very dry and cracked, using this body wash has re-moisturized very nicely. The bottle is nice and large as well, 2-3 times the size of a normal hand soap.

This body wash has a really nice, masculine smell, that's not too overpowering and lasts most of the day. I like that the ingredients are free of parabens and junk, which is important to me. The pump bottle makes usage convenient for my husband and it's been lasting for a long time so far.

Intoxicating scent, great lather. The scent is what traditionally may be described as more male - musky. I prefer this to overly floral scents which make my nose twitch. The bottle is large, very large - easily will last 6 months in my house. A little goes a long way!

This is a delicious body soap, with a wonderful citrus scent, which cleans quite well, with none of the dangerous chemical extras.It lathers beautifully and does not take much to get the job done. So 16 oz. goes a long way.I love this soap.Highly recommended.

This is an excellent shower gel! It smells fantastic, does a great job cleaning the skin, and does not over dry skin or cause any irritation. It is, however, a bit expensive, but I think it is worth it and you probably will too once you try.

Good body wash. Has a great smell... however, it's pretty strong. So if you prefer soap that's a bit closer to unscented or mildly scented this might not be for you. Otherwise, works well, doesn't dry out my skin and keeps things clean.
