This game is really easy to play and even easier to teach. It’s a kind of draughts game with some brilliant mechanics. Playing pieces are amazing quality and each stack has a different sheep design on it. (They didn’t need to do that but they did anyway) well done blue and orange games.Even the game box insert is well designed holding all pieces into place and in order.Worth evey penny.Only 4 stars as the board pieces are not as good as the rest of the pieces but that’s just me being picky.

This is probably one of my favourite games. I love it because its so easy to learn but isn't necessarily an simple game. Once you get the rules sorted and play a test game or two, you start to develop tactics and strategies well. The game is primed to make you want to do each other over as well as carve out a corner for yourself. Our friends and us love playing this game during a games night and it works really well as ice breaker and starter.

Purchased this as it was recommended by my sister in America.Its a strategy game where you have to occupy as many tiles as possible with your sheep. My 8 and 6 year olds were fine playing this and really enjoyed trying to block each others moves.Ive only given it 4 stars as it is not as good with only 2 players. For it to be a good game you need at least 3 I would say, it's more of a challenge to take over the board.Good fun though.

This game is quick and easy to set up and its simple rules can be explained quickly. Don't be lulled into thinking it's just a fun game for children though - players need to think ahead to grab the most territory for their flock. They have to be ruthless as well to stop the other players' flocks reaching new pastures.The sheep counters are large and clunky so won't get lost under the sofa.

Excellent and good fun game with a different layout each time. Easy to learn but a good exercise in strategy! The only drawback when travelling is that it fits together well but needs a flat surface to play on - not usually a problem but in case anybody thinks they could play it in a car or similar. Having said that, it's definitely coming on our next holiday.

Great game anyone can play. Have various sets of this game.I've no idea why its asked me to rate for travelling as you need a largish flat surface to lay the board out and the game itself is in a box big enough to fill half a rucksack its defiantly a game for the table / coffee table not travelling but it a fun game for all.

I love playing this game. Super easy to teach and its really well made. I love that it has good quality plastic discs rather than cheap card. It's a brilliant idea that the game board is separate hexagons so you make a different landscape every time. It has given me and my family a lot of fun.

First played this game at a board game cafe. It's quite pricey but it is great. You can easily.do a few rounds and pass an hour. Set up is easy. Great for family, children and adults. Three is strategy, fun, competitiveness and of course the opportunity to be smug when you win!

This is just such a brilliant little game. Nice, sturdy components, simple, fast to learn - fun for kids as well as adults who enjoy strategy games. Played it on Birmingham Expo, loved it, now a proud owner. It's popular with other people I play too. Ideal present for families.

My daughters aged 9 and 7 received this as a Christmas present. What a great game! I love finding games that I can enjoy playing as much as they do and this fits the bill. My girls also picked it up easily and it develops their logical thinking. Recommend.

Always look out for a new family game for xmas, last yr it was quirkle, this year battle sheep.Once you get the hang of it, and start to get a bit evil in placing your sheep it gets really competitive.Great game for the whole family

Great game, really quick and easy to set up and play, each game last 10 to 15 minutes with 4 of us. Almost 6 year old and 10 year old really enjoyed it, after initially moaning as they thought it would be boring!

This game is fantastic. Simple rules and good fun to play amongst adults. It would be a good game for children as well. Good strategic thinking required.

It's a fine game. Decently strategic with very simple rules.Only complaint is that the board pieces are curling slightly.

Fantastic game recommend to everyone, it's fun to play and includes some great strategy if you want to take it seriously.
