An extremely basic B550 board:-2 ram slots-A single 16x and a 1x PCie slot-Only 4 pins on the 12V for CPU power which might limit overclocking.All three might be enough for some but when there are other similarily priced B550m boards that have more PCie, ram slots and CPU power pins; it makes it more difficult to recommend the mortherboard.However, the one thing that makes the board stand out is its M.2 NVME gen 4 support. Puts most SATA ssds and sata M.2 drives to shame and makes file transfers extremely fast.So if 4 gen NVMe support is all you care about on a B550 board and you can overlook the drawbacks its the perfect board.

I bought this board because I wanted an inexpensive basic office PC without the gaming bells and whistles. But beware, there is a limited list of AMD Ryzen CPUs that will work with the board. 2 APUs with onboard graphics are at the top of the range which rather defeats the inexpensive objective. I compromised with a basic Ryzen 3 3100 CPU and a lower end Asus graphics card. The system works well at good speed and I am pleased with the end result but there were a few headaches on the way.It is wise to check compatible CPUs/APUs on the Asrock website. The AMD website listed some that turned out to be incompatible.

Great seller, fast delivery. Unfortunately it didn't work with my chip but completely my fault as the seller is very clear on the different options. No issues with the return so a big thank you to the seller. Will do business again.
