The initial complex scent is quite sweet overall, as is the current trend, with an indescribable warm scent lingering a good while on the fade, which is still detectable the next morning, in my experience.It reminds me of a fragrance I have yet to recall the name of, although there is a slight hint of Channel No.5 as worn by another in my past, at times.Despite the presentation, it is not a 'young' scent, IMO.However, the 'cloud stand' is removable, if required. It has ‘ARIANA GRANDE’ in small silver coloured lettering on one side. Overall, the item stands around 10 cm (maximum) tall.As previously mentioned, the stand can be removed, if required, leaving a smoky-blue bottle that is a pleasant shade, with a small brand name on the front.I am also not keen on oversized tops on perfume bottles and this is a bit too much for me making the bottle overall something I would be unlikely to carry around in a handbag. To me the strongest notes of bergamot, coconut and praline are very reminiscent of those deluxe Sicilian-citrus-cream-filled-chocolates you get from Thorntons. These long scent notes are accompanied by whipped cream and powdered florals - I get the vanilla-drenched orchid and a hint of lavender to tone down the sweetness - plus, maybe a touch of rose and/or magnolia? I don't pick up on any major changes between the heart and base of the perfume, except some musk as the fragrance begins to dry down.To be nit-picky; the fruit-creme chocolates, romantic flowers, touch of clean sharpness, and the whipped cream scent notes don't really inspire Cloud to live up to it's name and inspiration [I'mthinking of a Valentines chocolates/flowers/Italian restaurant & hint of date's cologne on a cozy night out, rather than a artful display of uplifting optimization and hope]. I also can't help commenting on the ugly bottle set-up; it doesn't effect the juice at all, but the horrible presentation of this fragrance cheapens it a bit and makes it seem like children's makeup in my head. Fortunately the cloud base is removable, and the glass bottle can stand alone - the base is going in the recycle box, for sure...The only downside for me scent-wise is the longevity; Cloud only wears for between 4 to 5 hours on me and has a weak throw, which is disappointing. It hasn't put me off recommending Cloud, since it is very easy to wear, won't offend others if you work in a close environment and it is the most original of all of the fragrances in this brand as it doesn't have marshmallow and/or sugared notes in it, like everything else that the brand has done so far - in my opinion Cloud is more unisex than her actual unisex fragrance [Frankie]. However the not-very-bad-but-not-very-good-either longevity and poor sillage does lessen my enjoyment of Cloud a bit overall - none of the Ariana Grande perfumes have great longevity, so that is something that the brand really need's to work on improving.

I have never tried any of Ariana’s perfumes before but I was interested to try one as I can’t help but like the girl - even though I’m probably a little bit older than her usual target audience.This perfume comes in a cute pearlescent box. Inside, the small blue bottle has a cloud shaped lid and is a good size for carrying around in your handbag yet still looks good sitting on your dressing table. The small blue bottle fits into a white, plastic holder in the shape of a cloud. To me, this seemed too large for the perfume and, I’m sorry to say, a little cheap. Once I realised the two were detachable, the bottle has never been back in its holder.Now onto the smell of the perfume. In my opinion - it’s divine.It’s just the right strength after a couple of skooshes - it doesn’t over-power but you can still smell it later on in the day.I’m not the best at describing smells but I personally didn’t think it smelled too feminine. A bit more woody, I saw someone describe it. I think this would help it be worn by anyone - male or female. Others have mentioned it smells quite fruity but I definitely smelt a more vanilla and coconut. But regardless of what the notes are - the smell is just delightful. I’m obsessed by it, to be honest.The amount of people that have mentioned the perfume since I’ve started to wearing it has been really surprising - in a great way. People have asked what it is, where to get it and told me that it smells wonderful. Heady stuff indeed.I also have to give a nod to the great, positive message that goes along with this perfume. Optimism. Hope. Positivity. Happiness. All messages that we all could do with - whether we’re fans of Ariana or not.For me, I adore the perfume and I will definitely be buying it once I run this one dry. Not a huge fan of the white, plastic cloud holder which is the reason - the only reason - why I’ve given this 4 stars rather than 5.

This is, I think, the fourth Grande fragrance, coming as it does after Ari, Sweet Like Candy, and Moonlight. It’s in the same price range as the others, and so fits right in to the range. The perfume arrives in shiny holographic pink-blue box with logo on the front and photo of Grande on the back, looking like an android. Inside, we have the glass perfume bottle, resting in a heavy white cloud base. It’s a nice bit of design.The perfume is very definitely aimed at the young teen market. If you’ve left school, this is probably not for you. It smells like the inside of a sweet shop. The main note that hits you is sugary sweet toffee caramel, with a hint of sweet pear-drop and coconut coming through,all given a bit of depth by lavender. That’s it really. There is absolutely no sophistication here; just a very sweet aroma. That said, it’s not an unpleasant smell; very nice actually, if toffee is your favourite thing. It’s not for me, but I can see how this fragrance would appeal to its target – burgeoning teen females who are big fans of Ariana Grande. It is inoffensive and fun, and not the least bit sexy.Ariana Grande’s blurb on the box is hyperbole about being uplifting, hopeful, artistic and positivity. I get what she means and, despite this being a fragrance that smelling of sweets, it is a happy smell. That said, I get the same uplifting and artistic positivity when I smell a decent brew of tea!Overall, it’s a very nice fragrance for girls of a certain age. I confess I see these products as cynical cash-ins on a gullible teen market, but this one is better than most we’ve had a look at, and definitely much better than the lacklustre Beyonce Heat we tried in December.

The box has a shimmering pearlescent effect (pale blue with a hint of pink), very pretty and likely to appeal to Ariana Grande’s young fans. Although I admit I wouldn’t put myself in the latter category but I liked it too!Inside the bottle of perfume sits in a white cloud shaped holder and has a nice substantial feel – it’s a very solid bottle with an attractive cloud shaped top. You can lift the bottle out of the holder – it’s purely to add stability, but it’s a nice original touch.When we tested the perfume I was pleasantly surprised – I was rather expecting it to be cloyingly sweet, but although it is sweeter than most of the perfumes I wear, it wasn’t overpoweringly so,although I could clearly smell the vanilla. To be honest I didn’t get much of the opening fragrances of Pear, Lavender and bergamot (perhaps just a hint of the lavender). Vanilla and coconut definitely came through, and the musk, with hints of the other elements.It isn’t a particularly strong scent, not as overpowering as some, but it is well-balanced. It seemed to last really well – I applied it at the start of the day and could still smell it by the end. I gave it to a friend’s daughter (aged 12) to try and she really liked it. Overall I felt it was more likely to appeal to a younger woman because of the link with Ariana Grande but I would say you could easily wear this perfume at any age. Whilst I have other perfumes I personally prefer, I would still be happy to use this one.

I got this for my wife initially, but she decided that it would be better for our niece due to the Ariana Grande endorsement of the product, my niece gave me the following feedback.The packaging and bottle is special. The bottle comes with a nice cloud shaped holder with a cloud shaped bottle lid.The fragrance has a sweet unique smell to it, without being overly sweet or overpowering. Best of all though and what I consider to be the hallmark of any decent fragrance is how long it lasts. I have had great smelling fragrances that have lasted until I stepped outside and I have used cheaper fragrances that don't smell just as good,that have lasted all night.Thankfully the Ariana Grande fragrance is a winner in this department and due to its excellent last-ability. I can also confirm this is the case without having to squirt lots of it on. During our recent holiday in Croatia, my niece squirted the fragrance on after breakfast before we went to explore Dubrovnik. After arriving home in the mid afternoon, I could still smell the sweet smell on her albeit slightly faded but during the 24C heat and sweating etc, a good result.The fragrance didnt last after we all jumped into the pool though to cool off, but no shame in that methinks.The 50 Mil bottle that will certainly last her a while and she is really pleased with the product.

First impression of the packaging, the large pearlised box was tricky to open and the bottle inside was upside down so not impressed. The cheap looking plastic cloud that cradles the blue glass bottle reminds me of "pretend perfume" we used to buy for the children, thankfully the bottle lifts out and looks fine on it's own.Now the fragrance itself. I had expected it to be a disappointment so three female family members of various ages agreed to give it a try, when first applied the sweetness was obvious but there was enough fruitiness to prevent it being too sugary. As it settled on the skin the candy floss was pushed back and a rich berry came through to give it a light, happy tone that pleased all ages.Even if you hate sweet smelling fragrance this has an extra kick that gets better as the day goes by. The sillage is very good and even after a shower the fragrance could be noticed. We compared it with Falling in love by Philosophy as both are EDP's and contain berry top notes, Cloud came out best on all three testers.I personally think the packaging lets the fragrance down but it's not targeting my age group and younger ladies may love it, particularly if they are fans of the designer.Would I buy this? I believe I would.

I gave this fragrance to my teen niece and she absolutely adores it. The funky bottle on its own had her raving.It is a very pleasant uplifting scent with topnotes of lavender and strong bergamot, underlaid with vanilla and nuts with a base of musk and wood. Sophisticated but young I would say. We gave various friends and family a squirt by wa of experiment and I would say depending on your skin chemistry - the citrussy bergamot element can sometimes become a bit overpowering.It does not have very much throw as the experts say, ie you need to be up close to the wearer to get a whiff. And it does not last for more than four or five hours. But that is OK. You can re-apply.And as what I would regard as a middle priced perfume, that is entirely to be expected.Its marketed as feminine, and there is another Ariana scent which is supposed to be unisex, but I would say many boys could wear Cloud too. Bergamot with woody undertones is a very common male frarance combination.Altogether a well-thought out and pleasing fragrance.

Ariana Grande is is big right now and my daughter was delighted by the fact that she has a new perfume out.Even before you get to the product itself, the box is eye catching with a wonderful shiny purple design featuring Ariana herself. Inside is a nicely designed cloud base with the rounded perfume bottle sitting inside in a groove and a matching cloud shaped clear lid on top.The best way to describe the perfume is a mix of sweet smells that hit you at the same time; coconut, pear and vanilla can be easily made out from a small spray of the clear perfume. Once left for a while there are certainly undertones of a more deeper woody smell but the sweetness isn't lost in this,just dampened slightly so it's not too overpowering.My 12 year old loves the perfume and her friends have said they like it, too, so it's certainly a hit with that age group and, I would imagine, those a little older. As it's quite a sweet smell it might not be to everyone's taste, but it's certainly pleasant without being overpowering.

A new fragrance from an equally new brand that was probably intended for the same age groups that reputedly comprise her audience and fan-base. However, there is a maturity in the fragrance that could broaden the age of its users from teens through to the mature lady. "Ariana Grande Cloud EDP Spray, 100 ml" is an eau de parfum priced not too below some of the major brands. It has a unique, very appealing and enduring character that will certainly please its users and probably enjoyed by the men in their lives.It has top notes of citrus followed by strong floral notes. The packaging is huge and heavy and looks as if it could hold three bottles, yet alone one! For the shelf or dressing table,the bottle sits in a solid base that could almost double as a paper-weight.Passed to a family member who is not of an age to be a fan of the singer's music, but it is thought likely that this will be a fragrance to which she frequently returns and later purchases.A probable huge success!

Our daughter aged 10 snapped this up to try when we were reviewing in as she likes the singer. It has a sweetly designed bottle which sits in its own little plastic cloud - a nice touch, but clearly aimed at the younger market. It is a sweet smell, but not a floral fruity sweet, more of a musky vanilla sandalwood sweet. Some might find it too cloying. My daughter loved it. She sprayed it before school (she was told not to) and when i picked her up at 3.15 i could still smell it on her. Having reminded her it is not for school use, it was notable that it had lasted all day- which is great sign of a good perfume I expect it will appeal to the teenage market who will find it appealing and a more grown up version of a sweet perfume.Did remind me of some perfumes that Brittany use to have out some years back, But nicely designed box and bottle and reminded me somewhat of a less intense teen version of Alien. If your daughter likes Ariana then she is sure to like this too

This perfume comes in a small bottle, which fits into a weighted cloud. You can remove the bottle, but it slots back inside. Obviously, this is aimed at the younger market and, my nearly teen daughter, liked the packaging and thought it was pretty.It is, however, expensive for this market, especially considering the age group who would perhaps like Ariana Grande. My daughter is not a fan, but was happy enough to test out the perfume. That seems to have a slightly older scent, than I would have imagined. It is more fruity, than fresh, with a floral scent. In that sense, it works well for a wider age range. It doesn’t have that berry, sickly scent, that many perfumes aimed at young girls often have.Overall,it seems something of a mixed bag. The packaging is aimed at a younger audience than the actual perfume seems to be. However, quite pleasant and the cute cloud holder will look nice on young fan’s dressing tables.

Ariana Grande Cloud 100ml comes in an impressively big box and the cloud graphic is great. When you get inside the box you find the bottle of scent held in place by a white plastic cloud that is probably the most disappointing part of the whole product. It's a pity they didn't make it from higher quality material.The scent hits you straight away as a very sweet smell - literally like a sweet shop, but with something else in there - the mid notes include coconut and vanilla orchid which give it a fullness. Impossible to ignore when you smell it. Eventually when you've worn it for a while Cloud has warm musky tones that smell a bit masculine to me,but by that time the general strength of smell has lifted so you can only detect it in the background.This is definitely a scent for a younger person - young teens. It is very characterful and unusual - marking your territory on a night out.

No smell is young or old, man or women, just what you want to interpret it as. Ariana Grande's 'Cloud' is a sweeter and lighter smell that has a youthful appeal to it like the singer, but is about wearable by anyone who likes a lighter and sweeter smell. The bottle itself is very nice and the 100ml has a lot in so should last for a long time.You do not require much scent for the smell to linger and it sticks around for a good length of time which suggests that it is a quality mix. The sweet nature of the perfume means that it is a more divisive scent than some. It probably will appeal to the singer's fans who are a little younger as it has a candy pop feel to it.My wife uses this perfume and although she is not the same age of these fans and if used a little sparingly it does not seem wrong. As with all perfumes, choose something you like and go with it.

I gave this perfume to my wife who shared her thoughts with me:Too much of this perfume could be overpowering but a little goes a long way. It has a sweetish, floral scent with a hint of something that reminds me of bubble bath or talc - a sort of clean, comforting smell. A light spritz of this lingered for most of the day and family members noticed and liked it. The packaging seemed aimed at younger market with a shimmery box and a plasticky cloud shaped stand, but the bottle itself was simple and pretty.It was a hit overall in my household, both with our daughters, aged 12 and 15, as well as my husband and myself too.My thoughts:It was a pleasant scent, if perhaps a little baby powder like when it was first applied,but after the initial top note, the smell became very tolerable and flowery. Not a favourite, by any means, but certainly very nice.
