This is a fantastic fan for the money. I have it on an i5 9400F to replace the horrible Intel stock cooler. The mounting system is the same as on the stock cooler, so you have the plastic pins that push and twist, takes literally 30 seconds to mount. It already has a thermal paste patch on the bottom , so you don't even need to mess about with that. Performance-wise, at stock settings, it had my CPU temp down to 37c, which is pretty great and it was relatively quiet, much more quiet than the Intel cooler at least. I messed with my fan profiles however, and have them running at the slowest settings until temps get higher and it makes my case essentially silent whilst doing light tasks, and barely audible when it gets under load. It's much sturdier than the stock Intel cooler too, so I feel like it will last a good while. All round I am really impressed with this fan, for the money it's a steal.

bought to replace a stock Intel cooler that was getting noisy.not much roof between cpu mount and memory chips.price seemed OK ( but had to add bits to get free delivery) just over £20.00 total.Removing old unit and cleaning was easy.fitting this unit should have been simply locate pins in slots and press each down to lock,BUT pre-applied thermal paste was way too thick, could get any three pins locked but not 4th,tried three times, removing paste from cpu each time until it finally clicked all 4 pins in.no other problems, cooling results are great around 32 degrees C most of the time, never gone over 60 degrees C after playing games for two or three hours, very happy, less noise than stock heat sink too.ps .later found same unit for half amazon price.

Absolutely brilliant product. I bought a gaming pc from ebay, which had encountered numerous problems. One of these was my i5-2400 burning at 90°c during some games. I bought this today and installed immediately as my stock cooler was poor. The installation was fine, however I would recommend being very gentle as the pins don't feel the most sturdy, but I didn't encounter trouble myself. At first my motherboard didn't recognise the fan and I got black screen on numerous restarts, but eventually it worked, so don't worry about this. The fan itself has brought my temps down from 50°c while idle, to 25°c,and brought my gaming temp from 90°c to 60°c.Really happy with this cooler

Heard different things about whether or not this cpu cooler was worth it but decided to take the risk for only $12. Definitely worth it, swapped out for the default intel cpu cooler, it has the copper circle, newer models don't and run even worse. This fan runs about 5 degrees cooler on idle (37 vs 42) and about 15 degrees on load (75 vs 90) on my intel i5-4690 while also producing about 1/3 of the noise.Definitely buy if you want a better cpu cooler than the default intel one without having to take out the motherboard or you don't have much room in the desktop case. Easy to swap out with the push pin model and comes with the arctic silver mx-2 pre applied.

I needed something with a low height profile to replace the stock Intel cooler in my HTPC. Although I was sceptical at first because this is so cheap but I thought it worth a punt. After my first week of use I’m really impressed my CPU temp is definitely staying lower and the fan is noticeably quieter. There are bigger and better coolers but at this size and price point you really can’t go far wrong. Compared to a stock Intel cooler this has a very similar design but the heat sink is double the size and the fan is also a bit larger (I think it is also capable of a higher RPM although I could be wrong about this).

I bought this to replace the basic cooler on my old i5 3570k. I didn't think it would do much but it was so cheap and I felt like doing some DIY on the old computer. What a bargain! It reduced the temperatures by between 5 and 10c immediately. This maybe be because the thermal paste needed changing or whatever, but for the cost of this little cooler, I am really impressive. So simple to install, it takes literally 2 minutes. I'd recommend getting some cleaning alcohol and a suitable cloth at the same time to get rid of the old thermal paste on your CPU.Definitely recommend this cooler.

This is a bargin for for the performance. It cooled my i7-4790 by 20 degrees! Vs the standard intel cooler. However, the intel cooler clicked on and off really easily, while I had a much harder time lining up the artic clips with the holes on the mother board. There was a lot less room for manuever.I would recomend having some dry runs of seating it before added the thermal paste to the equation, to save having to keep cleaning and re applying the paste. But once it's in place it's really good. Very impressed with the unit itself.

Better cooling as per title. This is also quieter than the stock fan and the ring around the fan provides a ducted effect which moves even more air into the heatsink than the bigger bladed fan would on its own. The heatsink itself is also bigger than the stock one although it is solid aluminium and does not have a copper core like the Intel ones and more expensive options. The main point though is that this is cheap, small, quieter and more efficient than the Intel fan that comes with your CPU. Recommended.

For the money I was amazed at this cooler. It's not too noisy and fits perfectly. When fitting, first practice how the press studs work, the arrow is for REMOVING it.Make the studs match the picture in the manuel {QR code} then line up the prongs at the bottom of the studs to your board and press down, you will here a click, do all 4 and it's installed. Do not try to turn them once they have clicked into place, just check the cooler won't move, and that's it.

This worked great as a CPU cooler for a SuperMicro x9-SCL MATX motherboard and iStarUSA D-214-MATX server build. The cooler clears the case top with room to spare, is quiet (PWM) and is more likely than non-ball bearing fans to last a 24/7 duty cycle. It's as easy to mount as the Intel stock cooler as well.Even outside of servers this will be my choice for PC CPU coolers. It's quiet and cheap enough that I'd use it on a non-overclock setup where it'll fit.

Well worth the money - £8.50 I paid - it is far superior to stock. I used to turn on my PC to "Whhiiiiirrrrr", as of today it is a silky smooth buzz instead. Temps sticking to a nice 32-37 Degrees C while browsing the net (i5 CPU). For the price, you really can't complain. Is it going to change your life while streaming, gaming, watching a movie and editing videos? No.Will it be a massive improvement on the stock fans in terms of noise and temps? Yes.

So the good stuff. It comes already set with a high-quality Thermal Paste, so installation was an absolute breeze.Speaking of a breeze, the cooling fan works a charm and is truly whisper quiet.I had an issue with my CPU overheating before. Reaching upwards of 100c. Now it barely peaks the 70c range. So the bad stuff.Truly nothing to fault it for.Side note: Compact packaging. The company clearly caring about waste reduction is a huge plus.

Purfect and very goog looking little cooler! My case is small so my options were slim but I'm very happy with this one! The mounting is a bit fiddly but ok. My CPU runs quite cool but even at these low temps there is a visible difference between the two (the termal paste was recently changed with new MX-2 on the stock cooler so that's not a factor here). Noise was the main reason I bought it and I waw not disppointed!

Instillation is very easy. It is a basic design so appearance is nothing to brag about. I have an i5 6600k at 3.5 ghz and under load it never goes over 60 Celsius. When overclocked to 4.2 the temp never goes over 75. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend this cooler if you plan to overclock though. The downside to this cooler however is that it is rather loud. For the price, this is a good product.

I installed it on a i5 2nd gen mini desktop. It runs very quietly. It runs so quite compared to jet-engine like previous blower type fan, I kept doubting if the desktop is on or off. When I stress test the PC I can hear a slight hum of the fan.Temps also very low, old fan used to maintain at 60-70 degC when cpu is stress tested where as this fan didn't cross 50. Very happy with the fan.
