We were heading to Turkey for two weeks recently and I didn't want to have the same age old problem.. Leaving your belongings on the beach / boat when swimming and spending all your time worrying about them getting stolen or not being able to relax and enjoy yourself fully. I can say with absolute confidence that the Aquapac Keymaster was the best investment possible. It is robust with quality materials and a compact yet very solid locking mechanism. Not one drop of water got in and I spent ages swimming in both pools and the sea with jumping off the top deck of boats included. It was lobbed about on sandy beaches and never even got scratched. It fits the room key with key ring, bank card and a small roll of cash comfortably. It also floats perfectly so never sinks even slightly. The lanyard is luminous and tough and attached by looping it through a thick plastic hoop on the top so extra secure, never going to come loose and would float anyway if it did. After getting acquainted with its benefits, I used this as my de facto wallet for the rest of the holiday owing to it being un-stealable whilst around my neck (hanging flat under my tshirt) and it allows for a spontaneous jump in the sea too! Heartily recommend this product and I will be buying more in future if this one ever breaks.. I doubt it!

Like some of the other reviews, when you first open up the packaging you think, "Well that's not going to work, is it?"I use it to put my car keys with remote door opener in there whilst I go surfing. It takes a few uses to build up trust but it really works. Here's my little tip :-Turn up at chosen surf spot and wear this thing round your neck with the keys in it while you faff about. I do this so potential thieves can see I have one and I will be taking the keys with me. Get suited up, and walk down to the waves, still with this around my neck. I usually dump a towel and bottle of water on the beach somewhere. Then I walk down to the water and take the Aquapac from around my neck and tuck it inside the base of the wetsuit zip at the small of my back - in view of other potential thieves. Zip up your suit and go surf. At any point you're feeling paranoid you've lost it you can just feel it through you suit. I really like the idea that if someone's been watching they can see I have taken my keys with me.

I do a lot of sea swimming on my own or with my kids and where to leave the keys of my car is always an issue. Bags get stolen from the beach the whole time and there's not much you can do about it if you're 50 feet out. Hiding keys around the car has similar risks. I got this little bag to keep my keys with me when I swam. I ws initially slighly nervous it wasn't waterproof 100% so submerged it under a weight in the sink and it seemed fine. I have subsequently used it on a number of occasions in the sea with no issue. The one time I didn't properly tighten one of the "locks" some minor condesation got in but no damage to the key fob. It won't take a phone but will handle a bunch of keys, wad of notes etc. The drawstring can be left loose as you wish but I generally leave like a loose neck tie. Once I got used to it I barely noticed it and there is no real drag of it. Highly recommended.

I used this when we went to Devon for my car key (keyless entry). I was really worried about using it because if it leeked my car wont opporate without it. I tested it with a tissue inside in the sink, it did float so i put a glass casserole lid on top so i could see if any bubbles were present. It passed the test, but im a pessimist so when i got to tge beach to double ensure it was ok put a bit of tissue in with key so i could see immediately if moisture was getting in and put underneath my wet suit, with lanyard tight so it rested on my chest. still it kept dry. i managed to get £20 & debit card in comfortably with my key fob. got back to the car and hey presto..... worked perfectly.I recommend you do a test first like i said im a pessimist and it will give you piece of mind b4 you take the plunge!!!!!!

Ordered two of these for use on a beach holiday, in light of favourable reviews. Arrived well within estimated delivery date, protectively packaged and in good order. Good robust quality. Compact and light enough to carry in hand luggage. Both were thoroughly tested whilst swimming. Kept paper notes and cash as well as apartment keys dry and sand free. Yellow cord makes it easy to find, especially when rummaging around the wet bag. Thought I had lost it (my fault, had not secured it properly) on one occasion when swimming, quickly spotted the pouch floating on the surface, impressive as it had several keys in it. Clever, efficient locking system, ensure there are no kinks and keep the locks horizontal. Can recommend the Aquapack Keymaster without hesitation.

Used this for the first time in fairly heavy surf a few days in a row. Bought it as I'm always slightly nervous about hiding my keys on the vehicle whilst I go surfing solo. I used to surf in a remote area so I was less worried, but where i surf now is quite popular so I'd rather not take the risk if I don't have to.After first weekend of use no water has got inside and my keys are working fine.I just put it round my neck and then down my back inside the wetsuit and this seemed to hold in place pretty well.I can see how i might need to cover the lanyard/rope in something less abrasive for long sessions but had no rub this time around. The pouch itself fits my car key and key chain inside.Wouldstrongly recommend this product.

I rate this product five stars because I can lie back and Radox in the bath, knowing I can check my SMSs and take calls in the foam and water. The engineering of the seams is rock solid - I would estimate an almost 2mm rock-solid waterproof weld. The moulding of the curved mating surfaces and the locks is a joy to check out with a detailed eye. The sound transmission is perfect. I used one of these babies (of different dimensions) for kayakking for years and still have it. I am pleased to say the casing material is even better than it already was. Quite pricey, but I have to say they seem like they'll never rot either, so I guess buyers have a lifetime of usage.Unequalled waterproofed pleasure.

Have had mine for a while, used for kayaking and surfing and, in terms of its boast of keeping stuff dry its excellent.2 issues, - the problem of putting wet fingers into a waterproof pouch means it needs to be dried thoroughly before next use (I put a silica gel pack in from a new pair of shoes, does the job perfectly)When surfing, I tuck the pouch into my wetsuit (avoiding flying pouch, strangulation and the potential for impact failure) the string provided is now getting a little salt-dried and I find myself having to leave the water early because of saltburn/friction burn on my neck.Looking for a solution to this now because I cannot find a better pouch system.

I had a previous version of this which lasted many years, before the plastic tightners started coming loose and eventually dropped out when changing. I use when surfing and kayaking etc, simply slip under wetsuit to side or back of body, with supplied string around neck, and after a very short while forget it is there, confident car key will still be there, dry and working when i come back to the car to change. I always rinse in cold water after use, which i believe helped prolong life. This is one of the original and best ones on the market in my opinion, and holds one car key easily. Never used for money or anything else.

I bought this Aquapac as i was going bodyboarding and need it to hold my electronic car key as the only place to leave our clothes etc safe were locked in the car which was left in a car park at the top of a cliff and yes i was very sceptical that it would work and expected to have to get the rac to come and get me back into my car but even after being in the sea, banged against the bodyboard it still kept my key perfectly dry. The neck cord and bag are really comfortable to wear even while being bounced around in the sea. The best gadget i have ever bought as it does exactly what it is suppossed to and was so easy to use.

Works well and was completely reliable until I put my keys in altogether instead of just detaching my car key and leaving the rest in the car. I managed to squeeze it under my bouyancy aid but must have pricked the plastic with one of the smaller keys in the process and it leaked a bit. Car key got a little damp but still worked. I wouldn't give a bad review though as no sensible person would have tried to cram all those keys in it and then force it into an small space. Also, I later used a hot knife to seal the hole and it's worked perfectly ever since.

Went with each to the beach. Put my electronic car key inside and - as an extra precaution - put the Aquapac inside a waterproof waist bag (this also avoided the bouncing in the waves that another reviewer mentioned). The Aquapac Keymaster has a good size, is very flexibe (except the hard plastic top) and seems to seal very well.My 4-star rating, instead of 5, is because I used it only once (summer was finishing), and also because I didn't test it in direct contact with the water. But the solution I described worked for me.

I have been using this case non-stop for 2 years now (3 times a week throughout the year) keeping my car keys inside it during surf sessions. Originally I had a concern about its durability as its made of a very thin plastic sheet but I needn't worry. It is strong with an excellent sealing capability ensuring the keys never got wet. Being flexible and light is great as I can completely forget its around my neck and inside my wetsuit when surfing. Absolutely outstanding product - thoroughly recommended!

It does what it says on the tin. Simple as. The closure is secure and the plastic seems quite tough. It's big enough for credit cards, notes and a normal size car key, and my one has been tested surfing in Cornwall and did not leak.If you've got the larger style of key or anything bigger then I'd suggest a bigger size but I've no complaints on this one for me. The only slight criticism could be the relative price but would a cheaper one be watertight and usually you get what you pay for.

Just make sure you close the ends properly. People that have said it leaks or have had issues is because they are too impatient and man handling this. One thing you do have to do is wipe the ends and just inside for excess water so it doesn't drip inside when you open it. In summary if you have basic common sense this item works. I use mine on the string inside my wetsuit when surfing. Placed on the upper chest it never gets in the way and you know its there.
