This certainly comes in an unusual bottle. I leave the assessment to my wife.“The fragrance is not for me; it is a light and very subtle fragrance that is best suited to a young teenager. On me it smells slightly musty. It lasts a long time on the skin. The liquid perfume inside is a light sea-blue colour which fits in with the theme of water.The bottle is amazing. I suppose you could liken it to an acorn with a silver cap, adorned with the figure of a mermaid with flowing hair with starfish hair clips holding a seahorse in her hand. I like the fact that this is a proper 3D figure, as the back is the back view of the mermaid and not the same view reversed. This will really appeal to all the mermaid lovers out there.

Beautiful and high quality strong box with metallic and embossed underwater scenes, mermaid in an oyster shell (seated on pearl of course!), starfish, bubbles, seaweed and sea-horses. Inside, the polystyrene moulding perfectly protects the precious bottle. An environmental nightmare and ironic given the harm of plastic in the ocean. I think Christian Provenzana, the creator, or Anna Sui, should consider how they could capitalise on making eco-friendly packaging in tune with the current Climate Emergency.The bottle itself seemed disappointingly small compared to the box. It is just 30mls but somehow the box leads you to expect more. I’ve photographed it next to my 250ml (standard)

This perfume comes in a bigger than usual box. The scene is fitting for the description of a whimsical underwater world. The colours are pretty and feminine. The bottle is elaborate. The glass bottle looks like a large acorn and somehow reminds one of ancient Greece! The liquid perfume is light blue, which again fits well with the underwater theme. The cap is a light rose gold with a beautiful mermaid holding a sea horse. I think this would appeal to a younger person as it is very pretty. The spray does not have a cap. However, I think the position of the mermaid would make it difficult to depress the spray by accident.I love the smell; it has a stronger fragrance than what I was expecting and lasts a long time.

I've completely fallen in love with this perfume and I think it might be my new scent! I get so many compliments when I wear it and I've been told it really 'suits me'. I'm obsessed with mermaids so I had to have this scent. The bottle is absolutely glorious! Although I agree with other reviewers that the metal mermaid on top is fairly cheap but looks impressive. You can't break it. (see the video I made demonstrating this). The bottle is stunning and will look amazing on any dressing table. You can't take the top off and so you have to squeeze your finger under the figure to reach the squirter. There's no lid either so you won't be travelling with this one. The scent is very fresh, modern and young.

There seems a trend in reviews on here to suggest that this is a product for teenagers. I suppose the bottle (with it's very fancy mermaid design on the top) does tend to sway you that way but the scent itself is much more universal.The scent is a very fresh one. If you can single out the blood orange, jasmine, vanilla etc that the scent notes flag up then fair play to you. All I can say is that it's a lovely scent. You don't need lots to create the effect and the smell although neither is it overpowering.Fresh and fruity, long-lasting but not overpowering...this is a very good "summer" scent .Even those who can't see past the "youth" appeal in the bottle should like the actual product once they use it.

I got this initially form my fiancee, but upon arrival decided it would be much better suited for my 12 year old niece.The bottle itself is far smaller than I expected, however the mermaid "statue" on the top of the bottle is very big, and very well made. The silver really standing out well. The design of the "statue" is nice enough without being remarkable and easilly appeals to younger girls / those who like mermaids.The scent itself is very nice, with a sweet vanilla / strawberry tone that lasts well and is not too overpowering, and is very balanced. There were not skin reactions to the product, and overall both my niece and my fiancee really did like the scent of this product.Overall this is a great product for fans of mermaids,

Courtesy,of Amazon Vine here is my review of Anni Sui Fantasia Mermaid.I have just sprayed some on my wrist and like the scent of this product,it has a nice,fresh smell that seems to last well.So I think I will repackage this away and be happy to give this as a present for my girlfriend:)Given the packaging of the product and the shape of the bottle,this perfume would appear to be aimed at the teenage girl market.The bottle is shaped like a giant acorn and has a mermaid clutching a sea horse on top.The perfume is aquamarine in colour,which fits in nicely with ocean theme.I would say that the quirky design of the mermaid on top,makes it a bit impractical to easily use the perfume sprsy trigger.At

A rich vibrant scent that is packaged beautifully with a mermaid over the pump action nozzle. You don't need much of this to leave a long lasting scent on your body. - so the 30ml size does go a long way. The first wave that hit my nose was fruity - rich clementines and apricots, after a while you get vanilla coming through. Whereas I am not normally fond of fruity scents, this is a definite exception for me as I love it. This is a perfume where the designers have gone to a great effort not only with the aroma but also the dispenser and packaging - so this is a great package, and would therefore be an excellent gift. However, this is also a great gift for yourself!

Perfectly packaged in a delightful turquoise box, all illustrated with Anna Sui the mermaid sitting on a pearl in an oyster shell, surrounded by starfish, fronds of seaweed and ocean life. Such a pretty bottle inside with the gilt mermaid and her long swirling hair, flashy tail, holding a sea horse. The spray dispenser is charming, the colour of the fragrance light sea green, with a lavish gilt decoration over the top of the bottle.The actual fragrance is charming, fresh, citrus, geranium and violet combine to make a youthful scent that lasts for hours. Perfect for a girl who loves mermaids, the sea and lovely things.

Review by young Miss L.This eau de toilette has a light, fresh, summery, floral scent. It is reasonably long-lasting. I really like it - and my friends do too.It comes in a pretty box. There is no lid for this but there is an elaborate rose gold plastic mermaid on the top. The mermaid is not detachable so it may be tricky to get your finger in to press the button.I would say it is aimed at teens, the mermaid might be too childish for a 30 year old! (Except for mermaid fans!)5 stars except for the slightly awkward placement of the mermaid

This is lovely...it comes in a bigger box than 30 ml usually would need due to mermaid. The mermaid is lovely...think she could have been more elaborate and the glass more jewel like however it is still beautifulThe scent is rich ..when you first apply it hits you with a fresh and fruity vibe which feels fitting for mermaids...and it lasts better than some ...going to a deeper richer scent that still has that fruity scent but somehow deeper. The orange scent ..to me at least ...seems the strongest

This perfume comes in a unique design bottle with a mermaid perched on top of it. The perfume is a gentle sea green colour with keeps with the mermaid theme. It is a lovely scented fragrance that is subtle and feminine and lasts a long time on skin. I think Anna Sui perfume range is marketed towards young females and the packaging and scent I believe confirms this. I think it is reasonably priced for a good perfume, however I would recommend trying it before buying but it is a lovely fragrance.

The first thing you notice about the ANNA SUI Fantasia Mermaid eau de toilette is the beauty of the bottle, complete with a mermaid top, her tail curled around the bottle. The product is perfect for teens and young women who've grown up with 'Fantasia' and 'The Little Mermaid'. The scent is subtle rather than overpowering. A fresh, citrusy fragrance. My niece, who is 22 and a bit of a little mermaid herself, loves it. Compared with many other perfumes, you get a lot for your money with this one.

In all honesty, the best thing about this perfume is the bottle in which it comes. It’s wonderfully intricate and slightly strange. You kind of want to have some form of collection of these for your home, so you’re like a quirky collector!The scent is pleasant, not too overpowering and quite floral. It’s nice enough, though you’d almost expect something more powerful to match the bottle. It’s nice enough though and I did like it. A must have for the discerning perfume collector ❤️?

The scent's great. Refreshing at first and then settles down to pleasant slightly woody scent. She describes it as a bit musky, but nowhere near over the top. Suffice to say she was very pleased with this, and when it runs out I'll probably buy another. The only bit that holds it back is the Mermaid figurine. We both thought that took away from the perceived quality of the perfume and made it a bit tacky. Only slightly, and it's our opinion. But the scent is top notch.
