This is a great family card game. Very quick to learn, set up, play and put away again.Despite it's German name (it's called "6 Takes!" in English) this product actually arrives with the rules booklet in German, English, French and Italian. It's a small booklet, because the rules are very short and easy to explain.It plays from 2 - 10 players and has a recommend age of 10+. There are 104 playing cards. The aim of the game is to get rid of all of the cards in your hand without picking up any discarded cards from the table. Each card has negative points ranging from -1 to -7. So, the player with the least negative points wins. It's great fun,

Having first enjoyed playing this game when visiting Germany, I purchased a copy and have continued to enjoy it, introducing it to friends and family who have absolutely loved the different dynamics compared to other games. The game play is quite unique yet very simple to learn, and has a great balance between luck and skill that make each game different. The game can be adapted to the desired length from 5 minutes to 30 minutes (or more) depending on the number of players. One word of caution, the rule booklet is written in German only, however there are English explanations available online. This is a really fun game suitable for kids and adults that is small enough to take on holiday yet

Seller does not make it clear enough that this game is in GERMAN - including the rule sheet. Easy enough to get English rules from the web & the cards have no text to worry about, but this should have been made clearer.That gripe out of the way, this is a great easy-to-learn game with lots of tension as all players pick a card to play at the same time to avoid playing the sixth card in a row of ascending numbers. Sounds simple but there is plenty of depth, plus there are several game variations included in the rule sheet. Ideal player count: 5,6 or 7.

Really cool game! Was introduced to this game by my uncle after my cousin bought it for him after she’d been in Germany for a year. They’re both obsessed with it! It’s so simple and fun. I have seen an English version now as it must be gaining popularity, so if you can’t read German or have never played this game then go find an English version.

Simple rules but the winning tactics get trickier and the outcomes of each round of play more unpredictable as more players play the game. Don't worry about having German instructions, if that's the only and cheapest version you can find. The English rules are easily searched for on the internet. Buy it! Great for family parties.

Played the game with the friends and liked it very much. Their game was bought in Germany so I was pleasantly surprised to find the same edition on the Amazon UK. Although I already new the rules, including the rules translation into English was a nice touch, thank you.

Instructions are in German but are available online. This game is amazing and can be played by 2-10 people, though I like to play with 3-6 people if possible. The cards are not laminated, so you may want to buy card sleeves to protect against liquid damage.

So easy to pick up and has provided endless hours of entertainment. It’s also in a small box so a good on to take on holiday. The game instructions are only in German but it’s relatively easy to find English instructions online if you need to.

Best game I know for big groups. From 3 to over 10 can play. No waiting your turn keeps interest up in big groups. Kids from 6 upto grandparents over 75 learn it in 2 minutes. And 10% tactics keeps it interesting enough for years.

Bought this card game for our daughter for Christmas and it was played a lot. A little bit of skill needed and a lot of luck!!!! Instructions in German (which our daughter speaks) but language not needed to play he game.

There is a good mix of strategy and luck to this game, and it is very portable so ideal for taking on holiday. Imagine it would be enjoyed by all ages. A friend had it and I liked it so much that I decided to buy my own!

Fantastic game for all ages. Rules are in German, (it is a German game), but a quick search online will find them in English. The cards use only numbers and symbols so no words to translate. Great fun. Easy to learn.

This is a German game but so easy to play even if do not speak German as number based . Instructions translated in various languages so easy to understand . Definitely recommend for both children and adults alike

I am always looking for simple games for large groups of students and 6 nimmt! was a great find. It is fast, exciting and even though it does involve strategy, it is extremely simple and anyone can enjoy it.

We have been playing this German card game for years as it is so much fun. I bought this for a friend and it is good to find somewhere in England to buy it as I haven't found it in toy shops here.
