Zebra pens are probably my all round favourite ballpoint pens. (Yes, I am boring enough to have a favourite kind of ball point pen ... lol )They have a nice build quality (Yes I know , yet again , another kind of strange thing to say about a ballpoint) for a ballpoint pen. They have a comfortable rubber grip , a handy semi flexible metal clip and plastic button at the top that makes a satisfying and addictive clicking. It also seems somewhat smooth while writing , but I did once had a bad batch of Zebra pens that didn't write well with a lot of friction and very faint ink. Hopefully that kind of quality control is not that widespread. Also as for the ink itself. It doesn't seem as consistently dark as some like a Bic Biro.Sometimes ink can look a little faint at times even on a good batch. But still ink performance is acceptable / average. That still being said still a nice all around pen for use just for jotting down everyday things , that aren't so important. Due to it's design it feels like it's something you wouldn't lose that easily.

There's maybe just slightly too much hype about Zebra stationary and pen products. I've not used Zebra before, but I've heard plenty of positive remarks. Maybe I've just not chosen one of the better products as an introduction to the brand. But to me I can't find anything remarkably special in these pens. Sure, they write well, too thick a line for my liking but fine for picking up and using. They are comfortable to hold and well made. And they were a superb price at the time of buying. But would I buy these at the full rrp? No! They aren't pens I'd use by choice. Granted, I'm fussy, I like a thin fine line and I prefer gel pens. These just lack that nice feeling you get when ink makes your formed words look good on the page, and they lack that feeling of pen glide I love from a really decent quality pen. But, with plenty of redeeming features, these are worth picking up on a good price to fill the pen pot up, and they certainly aren't cheaply made.

I have been using this pen type for the last 10 years and they are the only ones I buy now for general use.The metal clip is strong enough and opens up enough to clip over the end of just about any trouser or jacket packet. The ink flow is very good for a ball point pen. When new the flow is excellent, after several years (I buy these in bulk so some are on the shelf for a long time before they get used) then this will slow a little, but it is still better than a Bic biro. The ink feels half way between a typical biro ink and a gel ink. You can use these the sign the back of credit cards, the gel ink ones sometimes cannot do this without smudging afterwards.Occasionally one of these will break in my pocket, but this only happens a few times a year. Never had any ink leaks with these. All round, superb general use pens. The next step up in terms of writing quality is a fountain pen.

The pens sit very well in the hand, the rubberised grip giving support and a comfort feel - the grooves closest to the 'business end' of the pen encourage the writer to hold the implement 'properly' (as well as reducing the impact of wear). The clip (for attaching the pen to the top of a pocket) is strong and sturdy, and the on/off button is reassuringly robust. The only downside is perhaps the ink, which is good enough for normal writing and the like, but if you need to use the pens for drawing (lines using a ruler, for instance), it can have a tendency to become a bit 'blobby' - but it is far from the worst I have experienced, and something which can be mitigated by taking a little extra care.

I use these pens all the time when I need to write anything, and I'm really happy with them.As I have arthritic hands, the padding in the area where I hold them is a must, and it helps me to hold the pen for a little longer than other, unpadded, types, as it's very comfortable. They are also a good price. The ink lasts quite well with these - but that's also a niggle for me, too!In a world where we're trying to use less one-use plastics, it would be nice to have refills of the ink itself, rather than 6 complete pens - maybe 2 complete pens, plus 4 refills, in a pack would be better? We've got to do our bit, after all! Lol

These pens are extremely useful, i’ve bought packs twice already and most likely will again when i run out. Though, that will most likely not be for a long time as the pens are very long lasting. There are no problems in the plastic, I’ve never experienced ink spillage and the only way they’ll break is if you do so on purpose or are very reckless with them. They’re comfortable to grip, but if you do accidentally snap off one of the metal pieces be careful not to hurt yourself. My hand does not slip with the grip and i can write with them for long periods of time without struggling or my hand aching.

I've used Zebra pens for a long time now and have consistently been impressed by the ease of writing. The pen is quite simple and cheap but there is a calming experience of using it. Like some other well-made ballpoint pens, writing is made smooth and does not suffer from the issue of ink smudging. The rubber grip provides a firm grip and the necessary comfort to continue writing for long sessions. In all, I love Zebra pens and for the price and quality, it's a to-go purchase for pens instead of the generic and dreadful stick ballpoint pens.

Very good pens. Been using them for work. Sometimes catch on the inside of my pocket and click outwards, so I have drawn on my leg a few times. But that's par for the course given the type of pen.Good quality, no smudging, and no failures yet after a weak of use. No cracks on the side, no balling of ink at the nib, and no clicking it a few times and having the nib stuck out. Unless they all fail within a month (and if they do, I'm coming back to complain) I would say this is a very good purchase. No regrets.

I am very impressed with these. very smooth writing right from the start with no scratching about, a comfortable grip and Reliable retraction. I write a lot by hand and these are my favorite pens of the moment. Easily superior to standard ball points in terms of fluidity of writing and comfort of use (less hand cramps), the ink seems to end up where it ought to be, will less smudging and inky fingers. They are lasting well so far, it is easy to see how much ink is left in the chamber.

I am extremely fussy when it comes to pens due to having to write throughout the day in class. I found these pens to be extremely comfortable as due to being left handed, I would often lean too hard on the pen and the grip helps to prevent any discomfort. The pens are also ball point, therefore the ink does not transfer onto my hand/arm or any other pages. They also last an extremely long time and are much cheaper than what is sold for in-store.

Too often pens either leak all over your fingers or don't flow nicely....these pens (medium) are what everyone should have handy. It has a lovely comfort grip, the ink just flows beautifully and just doesn't make a mess. I use them a lot so the fact that they last so long is a huge bonus too. I bought them at a super price (about £1.79 for 10) which was ridiculously good vale for great quality pens like Zebra. Worth every penny !!!

These are really nice pens and the ink quality is good. I can have trouble with some pens as I'm left handed and find some pen's ink doesn't dry quickly enough so I end up smudging all the letters as I write further along the line >:-( but these pens manage todry quickly enough that this doesn't happen. Also they look smart and are sturdy enough to be kept in a back pocket without snapping or leaking which isa bonus

I wanted pens that were easy to write with in terms of performance. I was not disappointed with these - they have a reliably smooth ink flow. I like pens that can actually write clearly, every time, and these do just that. Being retractable is good too as the nib tucks safely away with a click and no pen tops to lose. The clear barrel means you can see how much ink is left. What else could one want in a pen?!

It was hard to tell from the stock photo if these were going to make the grade - I prefer a pen with a good grip and I was loathed to replace my previous pen which had served me well for over a year - however these are great - competively priced for a pack of ten which means I have them dotted around the house and office so I'm never without a good pen to hand when I need one. Very happy.

I’m a nurse... we write lots of notes... we also get our ‘nice’ pens ‘borrowed’... bloody doctors!!!I don’t know a single nurse who doesn’t use these. Best brand by far. Clip well to uniform pockets. Long lasting (for nurses it’s like a month of charting) and don’t leak, run or smear. (Management don’t like you needing new uniforms for ink splotches).Just awesome
