I find jeans one of my trickiest clothing purchases to make, as I can never seem to find a style or fit that's 'just right'. I also find it difficult to tell, when trying something on, as jeans can be one of those items that needs to be worn, and then broken in, before I've any idea of what they're going to be like. So, initial impressions of Wrangler's 'Greensboro' jeans are actually very good. The waist fitment and leg length appear to be true to the label (the pair I have are 38" waist with 32" leg), with a reasonable fit around the waistband (I've lost count of the jeans that fit around the hips, but then seem to get even wider at the waist, which is not my shape at all),so I'm impressed with that (they don't fall around my ankles, so that's a good indicator on shape / cut).Length could be a little more generous (I'm one of those awkward people that probably needs somewhere between the available '32' and '34' regular lengths). The weight and quality of the denim seems very good, with a light, muted sort of 'smoked' grey colouring (erring towards the lighter end of the colour).Seams are nicely finished as well (no obvious seams are digging in and annoying me) and they 'sit' well, with a decent fit, when stood and sat down. I actually think these are possibly the comfiest jeans that I've tried, straight out of a packet. Are they perfect? No, but that's more of a personal comment on the cut (the 'straight leg') rather than any fault in the jeans. As, I'm tall(er), so prefer a more 'relaxed' cut (what used to be 'boot cut') to slim out the look of my legs. These are, as it says on the label, a 'straight' cut jean, so are a much closer fit than, my personal preference, at the back of my thighs and at my calves. Now, not so much that they're uncomfortable, but just enough that I'm aware. All the pockets, seams and finish appear spot on to me, and they sit pretty well, so other than that, I'm really quite pleased with them. I'll certainly be keeping an eye out for other styles / cuts that are available.

Wrangler Jeans have been popular since the nineteen-forties with the original version being designed for rodeo use by cowboys – today Wrangler still produce workwear but also fashion jeans like the Greensboro version. The Wrangler brand is now owned by VF Corporation who are headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina in the United States – with the town giving it's name to this style of Wrangler Jeans. These jeans are available about nine colours and a good range of sizes with prices varying from under forty to around eighty pounds – the pair I have are currently just under fifty pounds from Amazon. Wrangler Men's Greensboro Straight Jeans are made from 99% cotton with 1% elastane, which gives a little stretchiness, and they are a regular fit with straight legs, a button waist and zip fly. The jeans are comfortable to wear with the denim being a bit softer than my more traditional jeans, and they feature the Wrangler “W” motif stitching on the rear pockets as well as the brand patch. Greensboro jeans are machine-washable warm at 30°C, with my Gun Smoke Grey coloured ones losing a bit of colour during their first wash. Decent fashion jeans that you are paying a bit more for the brand name compared with cheap genetic jeans for work – I like them but would probably choose my regular Levi 501s at a push. Five stars at the current price.

When I was a teenager during the 70s the only make of jeans worth being seen in were either Levi or Wrangler and both makes have stood the test of time being as popular today as days gone by.These particular Wrangler jeans are from their 'Men's Greensboro' range which come in a huge array of colours and sizes. They are a straight leg design with leg bottoms that can either be rolled up a couple of times or left down. These jeans are made from 99% cotton with 1% elastane (which give a minimal bit of stretch), they are a regular fit and fit my twenty year old son perfectly with the waist coming slightly above the hips. Styled with six belt loops, a metal zip and button fastening, two front pockets and two deep rear pockets and a Wrangler logo on one of the rear pockets. As you would expect from Wrangler these jeans are very well made, the stitching is strong and all finishing is neat and tidy. They are comfortable to wear and being of quite a thick jean material they are also warm enough for winter use.Everyone should have at least one pair of hard wearing Wrangler jeans in their wardrobe and this pair fits the bill brilliantly.

The main two points I would make to the potential buyer of these jeans is that they are somewhat lighter weight denim making them particularly suitable for Spring and Summer wear. Secondly they are 28% elastane alongside the cotton which gives them quite a distinct fit and feel. This is particularly apparent at the waistline where as you use the single button fastening you feel the elastane pulling to fit your shape. I found this a positive feature as my waist is a touch smaller than the 36inch size. This effect also extends to the legs so you feel the jeans hugging you and giving you a figure hugging shape. However this is a comfortable sensation as the denim is very soft and feels good against the skin.Note the fit and length are what I would expect from this size. The finish of the jeans is good with no loose seams and the Wrangler motif clearly displayed. There are a total of five pockets and the jeans have a classic bottom but you can make them into turn ups if you want. The fly is a zip which I much prefer and in short these are quality jeans which fit properly and which feel and look good-what more could you ask for?

These are a well fitting true to size Wrangler Jeans. They promise water resistance and after a small shower last week while walking through our local town my husband remained cosy warm and dare I say it perfectly dry. If I am honest though when buying jeans you don’t really go for them because they are resistant to rain. The quality of these jeans is the usual excellent standard we have come to expect from Wrangler, strong zips, straight seams and stitching together with first class hardware make these pleasing on the eye. The high quality, design, colour, cut and denim make these an investment piece for any mans wardrobe. My husband loves the fact that they contain stretch.....something us woman are more than used to but not so much the men.Soft and supple to the touch and wash like a charm the price point may higher than some high street brands but it sits comfortably with other like designer brands such as `lee, Levi, Helfiger etc.A good quality jean competitively priced which will last for a long time.

These jeans are up to the usual Wrangler standard. Although not billed as such, the fabric is slightly stretch, due to the 2% Elastane in the mix. They are, as per the name, “cool” – although they are dark blue, they are not full heavyweight denim, and they are cool enough to wear in the warmer months. The fabric is smoother than usual, which some may find more comfortable - they’re soft when new, rather than only after a few months of washing and wearing. If you want to wear a belt, note that there is what I call a full set of belt loops, i.e. they haven’t missed out the one at the centre back, which some manufacturers annoyingly do.I usually take a 32” waist in jeans, and the pair I received for review were 34”,with the amount of looseness on me suggesting that the sizing is accurate. The price variation is not for different suppliers, but for different sizes. If you are lucky enough to need one of the cheaper sizes, you’ll get a bargain, but even the most expensive give you a discount on the RRP.

Smart, straight leg jeans in a grey tone. These jeans have fitted true to size, look good in a simple straight leg style and the grey shade is very nice.Wrangler is a name I remember from my youth, it’s been around since forever but had slipped a little from my conscious if I’m honest. Having rediscovered them I have been remindeded why they have been around for so long, they are good quality jeans made from a good thickness of denim, no so thick as to be stiff, but not so thin as to be weak- the ideal balance of both, so giving you a pair of very comfortable jeans that will last. The new fits have given them a modern look and the straight leg is easier to wear than the unforgiving skinny, being a closer fit than standard jeans but not as tight as a skinny fit it suits those with a little meat on their bones who are over the age of 25.These are easy care and can be machine washed, I don’t like putting jeans in the dryer as I find they shrink so wouldn’t recommend that though.

For many years I've bought Levi 751s, with quite wide legs for comfort. When they discontinued them I looked around but didn't find a like for like substitute. I was glad of the chance to review these Wrangler jeans, one in grey and the other in a very pleasant dusty blue. I have now ordered them also on Black which is really good dense dark colour. I did think they might be a bit tight but the size 34W-32L fit perfectly. They feel right on 34 round the waist and are just over 31 inches inside leg, which keeps them from dragging. They are much closer fitting round my legs than the 751s were, but have a nice bit of stretchiness (2% elasatne) which makes that fine.Best of all my wife has complimented me several times on my new slimline look.We have also tried out the W32 L32 size in the same jeans. A slimmer member of the family has trialled them for us and says they fit really well around the waist, the legs are a good slim fit but very comfortable. So high praise all round!

When I was younger Wrangler were my jeans of choice. Long before Levi was relaunching the 60s with Nick Kamen and a succession of music anthologies, I was wearing mid-priced Wranglers that took around a month to break in and lasted forever. These classically styled Greensboro jeans really take me back. Relatively speaking they're far more expensive than what I used to buy, but that's been the way ever since jeans went "designer".Anyway, no-one cares about that. I'm an old fat guy, but today I learned two things. Wrangler still makes a terrific pair of jeans, and secondly my wrinkly old butt looks pretty good in them. The material feels great, the fit - which I was worried about as these are a straight leg and I'm all about rolls and awkward bulges these days - is just about perfect. Deep, front and back pockets with a very generous "comb" pocket, large enough for a small EDC is you're into that.Feels great, and will only get better the more I wear them.

Wrangler jeans date back to the 40's, and are part of the all-american group of brands that pioneered the blue jean - sanforized denim that shrank to less than 1%, and made for comfort. Targeted at cowboys, the brand has become iconic as a staple in american workwear.Of course, in the modern age, the company has been bought out and the manufacturing processes changed for cost effectiveness. I mention this only because there is a noticeable quality difference between true vintage Wrangler jeans and these.Having said that, these are medium-thin, with a slight elastane stretch for comfort. They don't fit tight in any way, but the jean material has some flex as opposed to being rigid. The colour is a deep back, well seamed, riveted, and well made. Slim-Straight fit that hugs the leg without being tight. A good quality jean for a very reasonable price. I don't think they'd last if worn for heavy activities, but purely as a fashion jean, I like them.

My first impression was to do with the idea that jeans can be water resistant - how can that be? and how do you make sure they are washed properly? OH yes, they are flameproof too!The material feels very nice, softer than I expected and are a lovely denim blue, good quality too. Wearing them is normal I suppose, but for some strange reason they do feel different. Don't get me wrong, different in a good way - more comfortable somehow.I have always preferred Wrangler to Levi as I feel they use a better quality material that seems to last longer. Indeed I remember having a Wrangler shirt many years ago which I wore and wore without wearing it out. The only reason I got rid of it was because I got too big to wear it.One final point, these jeans look good. Not just because there are no silly cuts at the knees, but because the finish has a certain something. Yes they look good, they feel good too.5 Stars

I normally buy the ‘Texas’ Wranglers, but thought I would try the ‘Greensboro’ for a change.Glad I did. They are really soft and comfortable jeans.I’m not sure if they have much stretch in them, but they do seem to give just a little when you sit or crouch. That’s fine by me, as I prefer a little movement. They are - as always - very well made, with no missed stitches or hanging threads.I normally take a 38 waist, but I have lost weight this summer working outside, so these are a nice loose fit (loose but not baggy) on me.If I lose any more weight I will drop to a 36 waist, but Christmas is coming so I guess I’ll stick with my 38s!They wash well, and seem to hold their colour.I used to wear Levi’s but I have found the consistent sizing and quality of Wrangler jeans so much better, and have been wearing them for the last 20 years with no problems. If you like jeans, you’ll like Wranglers.

First of all size, these jeans are a proper 36" waist unlike some I've tried that I couldn't even do up. They are generous in the thigh so if you're a bit chunky there they will fit you well. Unfortunately I have slim thighs so they are obviously baggy so not really straight. They are also generous in the rear. Length is a correct 32".The fabric is thinner than I expected for a brand like this but they are very well put together with double stitching on all the seams.I'm not going to test them on my beige sofa but if they are really water resistant then I would be pretty confident that the dark blue dye will not transfer. These jeans cost over £60,I have a pair from Primark that are the same colour and are softer and more comfortable and cost a tenner. I doubt that they are water resistant though. Unless the Wrangler name matters why waste £50?

The jeans are make of good quality medium weight denim that is really soft and as a good amount of stretch. They have a zip fly with rivetted metal button. They are a very generous size my husband usually has 36" waist but a 34" waist would probably have fit him better. (luckily I'm a dressmaker and can take them in) Jeans usually have enormously long legs but these are the 32" they say they are. my husband doesn't like turn-ups on his jeans and thankfully they aren't sewn in so are an optional feature. The jeans can be washed at 40'C made from 64% Cotton; 21% Polyester; 13% Lyocell; 2% Elastane. The dye comes out in the first couple of washes so they need to be washed with other jeans or by themselves.I've washed these a couple of times now and they haven't shrunk and have washed really well.
