I have still got my original Yahtzee game from some time around 1976. As you can imagine (and see from the photograph) it has seen a lot of use over the years and has been looking a bit worse for wear for quite a while now. So, I was really pleased when I saw this Goki Dice Arena.This is actually far better than the original one. The original was made of lightweight plastic and covered in red felt / flock to give a softer feel to the surface and to deaden the sound of the dice a little. The felt wore away pretty quickly, as I recall, so it just left bare red plastic in many places.The Goki model is of a superior quality. I got this dice tray to help when rolling dice for tabletop role-playing games, such as Dungeons & Dragons. The headline for the review, "Perfect", is no exaggeration. I mean, what else can you say? It works exactly as one expects. If you aren't looking for some fancy design, then this is a brilliant buy. To summarise:- Solid construction (and the box it comes in is solid as well, good for storing it)- Pleasing, if simple/plain design- Dice roll nicely on the fabric and don't jump over the edge- As a bonus, you get five 6-sided die with it- Overall a fair price as it seems like good quality workmanship, very sturdyCan't complain, no fault to be found. 5 stars.(I mean if you absolutely have to nitpick,

My friends and I play a lot of board games but never thought of buying a dice tray or plate for rolling. I just bought this as a suggestion when I was shipping some stuff anyway, and I'm so happy I did! It's such a simple addition to a gaming table, but it really makes collecting and rolling dice such a joy. The felt is a nice colour for clearly seeing rolls, the tray is light enough to pass around, the walls on the sides are a little under an inch high - perfect for all common dice sizes - and there is enough room to get a nice satisfying throw in.

This dice plate is very well made and feels nice and sturdy. However, I bought this to eliminate dice noise and it doesn't really fulfil that role. I was hoping the base felt would be thick enough to deaden the dice rolling sounds, but it's quite a thin base and even acts as something of an amplifier on certain surfaces.If you're just looking to 'contain' dice rolls from falling off tables, it's great. For noise control? Throw a mouse matt in a container lid for a better silencer.

I use this to play D&D, and I don't regret having bought two of them for the full party. The quality of the plate is good. It doesn't feel flimsy, the wood is well treated and properly sanded. The base is plain and the dice roll smoothly on it. The plate is not made for big dice, but I have rolled 125 cm³ d6's without needing to be too careful. It comes with the five six-sided dice as well. I don't use them much, but I didn't mind having them.

Does 'what it says on the tin'. This is a felt lined wooden tray for rolling dice. You may think this is one of those accessories you don't need, but if you've ever played a board game where an overly enthusiastic dice roller has scattered all the counters or chits on the board and ruined an hour's play, you'll definitely want to buy this.

A nice solid dice plate, well made and of a decent size. We've tested it with a variety of dice, including the range of D&D dice, without issues. None of the dice have jumped out of the tray when rolling so far. The felt can attract dust with prolonged use, but it's easy enough to clean. Very happy with this purchase.

Had a choice between this and the much cheaper collapsible/portable leather key/dice trays, but this tray is made from solid sturdy wood with a lovely green felt to it giving off a classy professional vibe to any wargame, card or board game you play. High clearance on the sides ensure no dice will be lost.

Good product for the price (especially when compared to other similar products).Satisfying to roll dice on thanks to the felt finish and the days of dice rolling off of the table are over.My only complaint: the felt had a minor blemish in the form of a faint line across a portion of the surface.

Fantastic little tray for the price with low enough sides to see the results of the dice but not so low as to let the dice escape. We use it when playing King of Tokyo, Catan and Seasons just to name a few and it makes passing dice around and not losing them on the floor much easier!

Really nice and well-built dice tray.Feels very solid and doesn't move around on the table. Walls are just the right height not to low where dice ping over them and not too high where you can't see the dice properly without craning over.Perfect and highly recommend :)

As a keen table top gamer, from Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, Vampire the Masquerade and so on, my brother has collected them all. As he had his birthday recently I bought this for him as a surprise and he loves it, it's the perfect must have for any respectable gamer.

The wood looks and feels a little cheap but you get what you pay for. It is however absolutely suitable for its purpose (hence the 4 stars). Deep sides to stop die jumping out and felt inside and on the bottom for less noise and to stop any damage to surfaces.

Finally no more dice on the floor and under the table. Great price and quality construction; the felt looks like it should last a fair while. However be aware if you are terrible at rolling dice then this may impede you further - well feels that way anyway!

Really nice dice plate. It is bigger than I thought which I like and sturdy. I did not expect it to come with x5 six sided dice which is a nice surprise. I would personally but felt maybe to reduce the noise level a little bit.
