As others have said, the sky and grass are an unnecessary challenge. The character section of the puzzle is very good and various ages enjoyed the challenge. The grass section is not completely plain. It is sort of speckled in most places so easier to do than the sky. These sections are made more tricky because pieces can fit in more than one place, so the top and bottom edge needed to be redone as if done incorrectly you can't make the other pieces fit. This made the puzzle take much longer than it needed to.I enjoyed the majority of the puzzle as a puzzle. The sky was like an endurance challenge and the grass was a mix. The puzzle only got completed due to determination to finish what I started and I felt a great sense of satisfaction for completing it.

Found this to be a very well made puzzle bursting with colour with great solid pieces that fit really well together.It was great fun to build and the grass/sky gave it a (for me) nice challenging edge over what would have been a fairly easy/beginner puzzle otherwise, advancing it to more of an intermediate puzzle.The grass and sky might prove too much of a challenge for young children and be too testing on their patience as you have to be very methodical. (Hint to help a little: Do it in good lighting as the sky shading does get darker towards the top, but this is only really well visible in good lighting).

Great jigsaw that took me 2 days to do. I kept having to turn it upside down to do the other side, something which I've never had to do before. Well done, was too tricky to do all 1 way.My 7 year old was even really interested and wanted to help, maybe next time :)The only downside was on a few pieces, the picture was starting to come off so I had to be very careful. Hence loosing a star.

Good puzzle, well made with a nice picture for fans of the Mario franchise.However, one note of caution: the grass and sky sections are fairly uniform so younger jigsaw fans might struggle a bit (mine is 7 and roped his mum in for those parts). This puzzle is therefore trickier than you might expect for the size and nature of the image.

This puzzle is very good the quality of the picture is amazing, it kept 7 adults entertained christmas day as when you get to the grass and sky it is very hard, but was so much fun and laughs trying to compete to see who could actually complete the puzzle, would highly recommend this puzzle certainly for entertainment purposes, loved it

This is a very good quality jigsaw. I would definitely say that it's not for very young children to complete on their own as it's quite difficult so they would probably need help from someone older. Overall I would highly recommend it as it's well worth the money. You even get a free poster with it too.

This is a great looking puzzle but a bit difficult for my 5 year old at this stage. The pieces are tiny and my son quickly got bored of sitting trying to find each piece for the border so it’s been put away and he will hopefully be more into it next year. I’d say it would suit from ages 7/8+

I bought this for my 10 year old to keep him occupied during our time at home. He spent around 20mins each night working on it and it took him about 10 days. Some bits were tricky but he was pleased when he completed it. It’s now framed and in his room.

Bought as a gift the recipient was very happy. He loved the additional poster included too. Seems to be a well made puzzle with no colour/ image issues; misfiting or worse missing pieces. Perfect gift for a Mario fan or a young puzzle fanatic

Did this as a family jigsaw. Slightly difficult as some pieces appear to go in places they don’t belong and with the blue area and green area it’s hard to find what piece goes where. Excellent for a challenge and lots of fun for us all.

The grass and the sky are particularly tricky, but we did not quit and completed it. Came with a free poster which son has put up on the wall already.Good purchase, but only if you and your child have a lot of patience.

Bought for my 6 year old daughter who wanted a more challenging jigsaw . Good quality image and pieces. A little tricky for her age on the sky and grass areas but loved completing the rest

Bought for my Nintendo nut husband (tho I’m just as bad haha!) fantastic puzzle, good quality - bright and vibrant! Excellent, we are going to frame it for games room wall!

Completed in an afternoon and evening (36 year old adult only).Easy to do main characters, sky and grass were tricky but with a bit of concentration it's complete!

Overall really fun jigsaw. Quality is fine, quick delivery. Only issue I found was completing the road and sky areas in the picture, that was almost impossible.
