This wallimex lens is a good size, and will fit in even a small camera bag. It's shipped with a plush lens bag.The build quality looks good, with a tidy design and well-fitting front-and-rear lens caps. There are no loose feeling bits, and no odd sounds when focusing. The focusing ring moves smoothly. It can be hard to get used to manually focussing to begin with (it's worth taking three copies of each shot while getting used to the lens.) Obviously this improves with practice, and is also dependent on the aperture selected - as the focusing is much more demanding at f/2.0 than when stopped down. The results out of the camera were fantastic; you couldn't tell the image quality of the shots from those of own-brand Fuji X lenses, which is a big deal. Well done Walimex! This lens allows you to fill the background of portrait shots with repeat patterns, such as brick walls, grafitti and foliage, so for wide portraits this lens is brilliant - we're very impressed with it.The distortion is minimal and I haven't encountered any chromatic abberation so far.A colleague used this to shoot some interior property shots for a client looking to rent her home out; the client was very impressed with how much of the room fit in the images and the colour rendition and sharpness achieved using this lens. Also for some architecture style shots with this lens, again it performed brilliantly, allowing a wide field of view with clear and sharp images.I would highly recommend this lens to anyone looking to get a wide angle.

Used this on a recent holiday to Northumberland and pleased with the quality. Summary thoughts below:PROS-Produces high quality images on my Fuji X-E2-Focusing easy even though it's manual, due to large depth of field, especially beyond a few feet-Build quality feels solid/well built. Not too heavy.CONS-Barrel on the stiff side to turn. Probably better than it being too loose.-Price point seems on the high side compared with manual 12mm lensesNOTERokinon, Samyang, Walimex are all brands of what I believe are the same product. A friend owns the Samyang 12mm and it appears identical to this.OVERALLWould definitely recommend based on my use of it. Vastly cheaper than Fujinon's own lens. The manual focus is not a problem at all and I've had no out of focus images using it. As mentioned, the huge depth of field on such wide angle lenses means it's just not a problem. Have been very happy with the images produced. A couple I attach to this review.

Superb lens. Quality does not come cheap! Small, light and compact. Professional wide angle lens, focal length 12 m.Fits cameras with Fuji X-mount. All of the 12 glass lenses are multi-coated, which prevents reflections so that more light is made available for the image. Ideal for landscape photography. High lens speed of 1:2.0. Near focusing limit: 20 cm. Allegedly works with Samsung NX, not mine it doesn't. Had to borrow a friend's camera to test it. Shame!
