"Bob a job?" Never heard of it and it was upon that premise that I purchased this knife for my son, who as a scout never needs to knock on neighbours door offering to sweep up leaves in June: times have changed and therefore for my follower of Baden Powell I decided that he didn't need a fish de-scaler, widget for removing stones from horse's hooves, scissors, bottle opener (rarely used), screwdrivers and the like. What makes it worth five stars, simply quality and like all knives produced by this company you get exactly that. The blade is made from high quality steel and very sharp, it come in a small case and the knife itself can be clipped onto a belt hook.It is ideal for what it is meant to be and more importantly for a young scout a small knife blade without all of the paraphenalia attached to the higher spec models: one last thing, if he loses it, as he will, it is not like losing a £40 knife either.

This is a tiny knife, featuring just a small blade and the nail file with small flat-head screwdriver, as well as the tweezers and toothpick. The only thing missing is the scissors - they are found on the Classic SD. Still, this model is so cheap, around the price of a caffe latte in a coffee chain, that you could buy lots and give them to family or friends as little gifts, especially at Christmas, when they would make ideal stocking fillers. It's presented in a little sealed box. A tiny package but the usual Victorinox quality. Oh, I nearly forgot - it comes with a little black faux-leather plastic slip pouch which you probably won't use, unless you keep the knife in a small bag, whence it might be useful to protect the knife from scratches and excess dust.

Because the only people in England that seem to be able to get away with carrying knives are city based wide boys with 16 inch machete's, us law abiding folk often find times where you need a knife and no one has one. Presumably the rules are due to the myriad of historical atrocities carried out with larger swiss army knives. With this, you can get your keys out and simply do whatever needs doing as it's legal, handy and exactly the right size for hanging with your keys. Cutting selotape on boxes, filing your nails, and picking bits out of your teeth can all be done without fear of being arrested and detained when the authorities inevitably question you to avoid getting mixed up with the nuttersopenly carrying broadswords through city centres.

What an awesome little knife! The knife is pretty strong, and you can fold out the nail file to use as a longer handle. Sturdily made, the blade will remain sharp and can be easily 'touched up'. I was slightly disappointed that the tweezers 'handle' was plastic, as a Swiss army knife I have see bought in 1947 or so had fully metal tweezers. But All in all a good, strong product. It is easy to carry around discreetly but I would recommend that it isn't put on a keying. Handy to have stuck in your hatband. The red plastic does scratch quite easily, so don't stand on it then drag it along tarmac... No of course I didn't do that! Yes it's small but that's what I bought it for.

This knife has lived on my house keys for almost 2 years now. It’s that small and light that you could easily forget about it being there. But once you are used to grabbing it for everyday tasks it soon becomes indispensable. The biggest use is probably opening the packaging on kids toys, dads out there I’m sure will understand. You buy them a new toy for behaving whilst in the supermarket, yet it is attached to the box with multiple cable ties. Normally this would mean an upset child that has to wait until returning home to open the packaging. Not with this little thing attached to your keys, my kids are so much happier now and of course that makes me a lot happier too!

A fantastic product, this is far from my first Victorinox purchase. I was looking to replace a lost Swiss Card and figured I would give this a go. Glad I did, as a direct replacement for my card this leaves me wanting for nothing. I have a small blade , a nail file and a flat screwdriver, the perfect companion to attach to my key ring in work.I am not going to wax lyrical about the build quality as I believe that to have been comprehensively covered in other reviews. This is a very underrated and often overlooked little knife. Buy one you will not be disappointed.

This is nothing more than a key ring knife. While the build quality is good as expected, it shouldn't be considered as a proper penknife, but rather a small key ring model for limited functions when nothing else is available. For that purpose, and it being the purpose I got it for, it's good and I like it for that. It sits with my house keys and happily goes everywhere with me and gets used when I don't have anything better available to me. Without it I would have been left with nothing to help so it does the job it's designed for.

I bought one of these little knives 20 years ago in Vienna albeit the one with scissors and it's never been out of my pocket. I couldn't live without it and since it was showing its age I decided to by a new one. I actually meant to order the one with the scissors but Heyt-Ho" we all make little mistakes. None-the-less it's a great little knife. I've since rectified my mistake and ordered the correct one. I will then have three, one for the pocket, one for the car pocket and one in my desk, what more could you want

I'm from a generation that feels somewhat naked without a penknife, but work in an office environment where it might not be appropriate to carry something larger. This size is just perfect for me - small and neat, but big enough for what I want. It performs all the ususal penknife duties and has a manicuring blade too. I find this particularly useful when I'm getting board during meetings - finger nails are immaculate now. Need I say more? Wonder if I dare do my toes - perhaps not.

Great little knife, I use it every day and haven't had to sharpen it yet, the toothpick is thin and flexible yet very strong, I thought it would have been buckled and broken by now but it's good. The nail file not so good, more of an abrasive rub than a file that should reduce the nail size "finger nails" I use nail files often as I'm a guitarist, still I can live with this as the rest of the knife makes up for it, and it didn't cost an arm n a leg, oh yes the tweezers work too.

I have kept one of these on my key ring for many years. It is small enough to add little bulk in my pocket, and cheap enough not to buy an inferior copy. There are not many blades that can equal Vitrinox for quality. I have bought two more for each of my sons to carry. These knives are something you will always be glad to have to hand. It usually comes out each week for something; opening a parcel, cutting off a label, sharpening a pencil, stripping off a plastic wrap and so on.

Excellent little penknife, with the usual expected quality from Victorianex. It arrived quickly and safely by post, and had to be signed for, with ID.I keep it on my keyring, it's a handy thing to have with you, and the small folding blade shouldn't get you into trouble.Just handy if you're out somewhere, and you need to cut a plastic tie, or string. And of course tweezers, and a tooth pick, come as standard, even on a Victorianex as small as this.

My first thought when I opened the box,"Wow, I can't believe this only cost £6". It exudes quality, the blade is (really!) sharp, the movement is smooth, the toothpick and tweezer sit firmly. What else can you get for £6 these days?1) A gourmet sandwich?2) a box of chocolates?3) a bottle of wine? This knife will last a lifetime with good care...well unless I leave it in my carry on luggage and the guys at Luton airport get ahold of it...

This item is just small enough for it to qualify for my comment. It is small enough for it to be on the key ring and be practical enough for it to be used when required. It performs perfect on all occasions. You should buy a bigger version of the same if you want to do a tough job but for the small and awkward tasks it work beautifully. You will not be disappointed when you will see that it hardly weighs when it matters. Try it.
