I found this quite by accident whilst detouring through a dept. store. The bottle was a little eye catching so I sprayed a little on a card, had a whiff as I walked out of the store and thought it was quite nice. I put the card in my pocket as there were no bins around and thought no more of it.Later that day I kept catching the scent. It had transferred to my hands, mobile phone and wallet as I had used the pocket. Later that evening I fished the card out and had another sniff. It was still noticeable, but not overpowering. The wife commented upon it and thought it rather manly. I had to buy it there and then!I read the experts scent notes on this and wonder what planet they are on.I have seen this advertised as "bergamot and myrtle, succeeded in the heart by roasted coffee combined with gianduja cream, on a rich base created of cedar and precious leather. "For one thing, I wouldn't know what bergamot, myrtle or gianduja were if they jumped up and bit me on the backside. So from reading it I wouldn't know if that was a good thing or bad!It is difficult for me to describe a scent as I am no expert. I get the woody cedar smell that the experts mention and I can also detect the leathery tones, which is what I particularly like. There is a very subtle hint of a new leather wallet or belt, but more of a spiciness to it. I am particularly fond of darker evening scents that are a little spicy and is just the ticket. The colognes I like are Hugo Boss Bottled Night, Gucci Guilty and Paco Rabanne Million and I would probably put this in the same range.One thing I find with a lot of colognes is that as the evening goes on I get accustomed to the scent and in error I tend to put more on than I need, thinking that the scent is weaker than it actually is. With this, I keep catching the scent on myself, so I can see that I am going to have to be careful because this could quickly become overpowering. I would say no more than 2-3 sprays - which is a fine mist.As colognes go, this one is a bit pricy compared to others in the same range, but there is better value in the 100ml bottle. I would certainly recommend getting down to a dept. store and trying it, but it is going to be cheaper to purchase on-line.

Bottle - err, looks a bit like a chandalier, a gimp toy or a Swarovski hip flask. Bit silly and since you can't decant these things, prob best hidden in a sock in case anyone sees it and laughs at you.Thmell. The smell is actually pretty decent. (But do you want to actually smell like this? I mean, a pie cooking in the microwave smells decent too, but not like *on* ya.) Kind of a generic designer's scent. Bit too sweet smelling for my olfactory taste though. Inoffensive. Not strong.Mod factor - nil. It's like Quadrophenia never happened.Geezer factor - nil. It's like a collection of ok top notes but with no bassline or rhythm section.

Like the original Uomo, 'Valentino Uomo' has a posh, sophisticated long lasting what I like to call Winter scent that smells quite strong when first spritzed before quickly settling down to its sweeter, lighter notes. It's therefore ideal for day and night and won't choke your friends/colleagues/partner. Having said that I'm not sure it's suited to my skin as I never get any compliments! (unlike when I wear 212 Sexy for Men and people just go nuts!). Having said that it's it's definitely going to be a permanent feature in my 'Winter' collection. Bottle is amazing.

Wanted to try something different and credible amongst the Perfume Forum communities. I must say I love the fragrance. It lingers well for me throughout the day and is not overtly sweet in my opinion. I've had a few compliments as it is not standard/recognisable and the wife actually loves it even though she didn't want to me stray from my usual EDT scents.It reminds me of Dior Homme, but it should not be compared as it is different.This is a classy scent make no bones about it.

Delivery: Product came very quickly and in perfect condition.Product: After weeks of finding a fragrance to buy I struggled to find any that I loved, I found a sample of Valentino Uomo in a magazine and straightaway knew this was the fragrance I was looking for. The scent is harsh at first but settles into a sweet smell which I think resembles chocolate and coffee and lasts for a while. I have had many compliments over this fragrance and would recommend it.

A very addictive scent by Valentino, very manly without going overboard. It never seems to last long enough on the skin, but I never minded. I had a few compliments for it. I'm a big fan of this scent. My only qualm would be that the Label on the bottle was upside down. Hmm, hope it was the real deal - the smell seemed correct !

I was very concerned this wouldn't be the Real Deal, or that it would be banged up or scratched or something.But! It was the real deal, smells and looks as it should. It was cellophane wrapped, packing was pristine, and the price was less than the high street!Very pleased to gift this to my boyfriend :)

This is one of those high street store " can I interest you in a new aftershave sir ?" type questions. As its my second bottle obviously I was a well chosen customer to ask. A very classy item , attractive and unusual bottle, but the content is simple the best. Ranks in my top two of all time.

Very pleased. Purchased for husband for Christmas. Box is sealed & undamaged, very good packaging to protect product.I buy this every year, more expensive this year than last but still cheaper than the shops. The scent is incredible.

Delivered as advised in good condition ,no problems encountered and bought at a reasonable price.I would recommend this product,especially as it reminds me of our visit to the Valentino factory shop in Italy

Excellent , value for money .....................lovely woody fragrance and well packaged. Considerably cheaper than other outlets and the genuine product so an absolute winner in my view.

Its a gorgeous scent, longevity is good, the bottle is beautiful , i prefer this to the intense version, both very nice but this one is a little less heavy with an amazing opening.

This is my favourite go to scent, wearing it daily. In my opinion the scent is perfect for any occasion, not so overpowering which is great and also the longevity is excellent.

Always get compliments when I wear Uomo by Valentino. It lasts for a while. I can usually smell it on my pillows the next day still. Absolutely love the masculine smell it has
