When you buy this, you have to consider that this is a 'Paint' pen and not an 'Ink' pen. It is also OIL based and whilst it will 'mark' almost anything, it is NOT a permanent marker. If writing on standard paper, or other porous materials, then this paint pen will produce a fairly weak line due to the surface sucking up the paint. However, as soon as you move onto non-porous paper or other materials such as plastics, glass, metal, etc, then it will give you perfect results!Does take a while to get going when being used for the first time. But be patient - shake repeatedly and press down on the nib slowly and gently. For best results when writing, hold the pen in a more upright position than you would normally. The thickness of the line is very fine (thin) and doubt if you can get much thinner (for this type of pen)!Very pleased - does the job in marking our cable chargers and electrical plugs.

I have so many cables and chargers with different ends and outputs that I cannot remember which belongs to what. I have searched for a way to identify them all for some time now. Sharpies are great but the nibs are just too thick to write on some of this stuff. I had read that these pens can be good but tend to dry out quickly, I thought I would try one anyway. I'm glad I did. It has performed brilliantly. I can write small enough to fit it on the edge of a USB plug and on chargers to identify what it belongs to. It also seems to be very hard wearing but only time will tell. I've never tried it before but I will attempt to update this review at a later date to reflect how it has performed overa period of time.Update- 29 May '19 and just used it again for the first time since writing the review. Worked perfect first time.

I bought this paint marker for a specific purpose: to mark 1.6 mm diameter dots on the side of a guitar fretboard using a stencil I made by CNC cutting 200 gsm clear acetate sheet. I also tried Humbrol white enamel. The picture and short video clip attached to this review illustrate use of this fine tipped acrylic marker pen to write on a sheet of scrap red gloss acrylic (Perspex) sheet. The paint dries in a minute or two and with care, will not run. This could be very useful for writing on glass or plastic for commercial (e.g. shop windows, menu signs, etc.) or hobby and craft purposes (greetings cards, etc.) where the item might be displayed outdoors or where weathering could occur.Highly recommended and good value for money.

Having recently built a couple of fishing rods from scratch, I wanted my initials and a brief description of their atributes on the blanks.I looked a various options including decals (very expensive), a pot of paint and a nib pen (expensive and fiddly) and eventually decided to give one of these a go.It did the job as well as I could reasonably have expected, dried in minutes and didn't react with the "Flexicoat" epoxy coating that I put over it.Now I need to do the same thing on my bike frame and a couple of other items that would benefit from a security marking.

This pen arrived in the time expected, in a small brown padded envelope. It takes a lot of shaking and pressing down on the first use before the paint begins to flow out of the pen, but once it is flowing, it works well. Seems to be reasonable for what I paid. One thing to bear in mind is that it is very thin liquid and takes a few coats of it to get the "proper" opaque white people are often looking for. However, this suits me fine as it gives me lots of shades of white, from semi-transparent to opaque.

Very good, super fine point, perfect for writing on black plastic plant labels, I am ordering more today! The ink was opaque, shiny, and free-flowing: the point is indeed very fine, and I easily got two lines of text on a smallish 4" plant lable. As per other comments, you need to shake-shake-shake on first use, then you have to gently and patiently pump the nib for a while until the ink starts to flow. I say "gently" to avoid spoiling the fine point. This ink on black plastic looks very stylish indeed.

I bought this to refresh letters on a keyboard. The line is slightly wider than I would have liked, but I don't think a narrower one is available. As I anticipated, the paint chips off with use, but it's easy to reapply it. It's not a perfect solution but is adequate and much better than having blank keys.

I needed a marker to make the white road lines on a model railway layout I am building saw this advertised in a model railway magazine and searched the internet as could not buy locally and as usual amazon came up trumps. This was delivered in a few days well packaged and good value would buy again.

Value for money is excellent I purchased the pen to write on over six glass bottles after writing on the bottles still lots left in the pen. Really easy to use just press down nib onto surface and write away really quick drying as well would purchase again .

These are fantastic. I bought two for writing on plastic plant markers and because the nib is narrow, my writing appears much brighter and clearer against the black background of the markers. I will definitely buy again.

Used this pen to write on smallchalkboard save the dates and it was ideal! The finer nib meant it was clearer on a smaller surface so I would recommend this for a project where detail is required!

Bought this to use on a laptop keyboard with worn keyboard key labels. Don't know why I was so intent on spending so much more on a new keyboard and fitting when this did the job perfectly well.

Use it for highlights in drawing and the occasional writing on black paper. Works exactly like it says it would just a bit transparent but it's fixable when you get more ink into the nib!

This is the first white marker that I've found that works well. Needs quite a bit of shaking to get ink flowing from new, but OK when re-used. Don't forget to replace the cap after use.

The 1st pen I received was faulty and kept leaking everywhere but I contacted the seller and they send a replacement straight away. New pen works perfectly and was just what I needed.
