This review applies to the UM-151S red gel-grip rollerballs, as there seems to be a mush-mash of options covered by the same review process.The gel grip gives more purchases than a cheap shiny plastic body, I like the feel of these pens in my hand as they are well balanced.The cap has a *very* firm click as it locks into place, so is unlikely to fall off or get lost in a bag or whatever.The pigment gel ink and stainless steel tip combination works well to produce a consistent and non-scratchy flow when writing.I usually prefer a finer nib/tip/ball to be honest, but as you can see from my attached photo the 0.7mm one of these pens isn't exactly thick or clumsy.

Simply the best. That's all i can say. They have beautiful and smooth ink, which dries quickly so you need not worry about smudging what you've written. They are perfect to use in school, college or university for taking notes or just simply for writing postcards.My only concern with this particular model of the signo range, is that the clip with which you can hang the pen on your shirt pocket breaks really easily. I don't know why they've made them so stiff, inflexible, when the previous model, which lacks the gel grip has a perfectly flexible and durable clip on the lid.

I bought these pens to replace my biros. I love the way that these write; they are very fluid and don't 'stick' to the paper like some other pens. Occasionally, if left unused with the cap off, it may leave a drop of ink on the paper, but you can just wipe the nib before you start writing.The ink does take a while to dry, which makes highlighting immediately pretty much impossible, but if you are willing to wait a while before using highlighters, I very much recommend these pens!

This pen is really good! It uses black gel ink, its nothing special but it still is good! It has good precision when writing and makes writing cursive and normal really easy! Although i gave this pen a 5 star i think it could improve on its feel, it has the grip it works but when writing it feels awkward, the pens tip isn't soft so its not that smooth when writing.Overall very good quality pen but some things could be improved.

I was devoted to my trusty fountain pen which I used for making notes and signing letters and cheques etc. Then one day it leaked when I was at a business meeting - how annoying. I now swear by these excellent pens, and unlike the fountain pen I would not worry too much if I lost one. A useful item to buy in bulk online.Make sure that you buy from a top rated supplier or it may be old stock and dried up.

Fabulous pens for writing exams.They write smootly and easily, comfortable for long periods of time due the gel comfort grip, and best of all, they are instantly dry! No smudges!When you consider that examiners no longer routinely receive scripts, but mark on line, all you can do to get your marks includes best contrast (black ink) & tidy, legible, smudge free writing. This ticks all my kids' boxes.

I am a Mixed Media Artist and use this pen in so many projects. It is lightweight and the ink is a beautiful dark black. The fine tip is small enough to use in detailed spaces and I would recommend them to anyone who does any kind of pen and pencil art. They are water-soluble so I can make them bleed in my artworks. They arrived early and quickly and would definitely order from this seller again.

Ink dries immediately and produces no smudging, ghosting is minimal Ink also lasts a very long time and this is coming from someone who is revising anatomy writing for hours. However, unless held quite vertically, the pen nib is not very smooth and produces a scratchy sensation. This is particularly frustrating as I am heavy handed and this also tires my hand out quite quickly as a result.

Great value for money, paid hardly 75p each and they work just as well as the ones I used to buy in WH Smiths or Rymans. Writing is smooth and easy thanks to the gel ink and rubber grip. Grip isn't too thick, which helps when on long writing sessions. On low quality paper it might smear a bit, but would still be readable.Hope the offer will still be on by the time I finish the lot.

It's a pen even though its name doesn't give it away. I would recommend these delightful little beasties to anyone, great for writing, scribbling, colouring in teeth on photographs of personalities in your weekend magazine, draughting, and countless other things. Well to be truthful I have drawn the odd silly face on the end of my fingers...it washes off, so no problem there.

I love writing with a Uniball Signo as the soooo comfy gel grip :) feels luxuriously soft as I hold it. The rollerball design ensures it's a pen that's very easy to write with and it's reassuringly precise without being razor sharp. The plastic is tough and stylish, with a neat plastic pen cap. I've been using Signo pens for over ten years and they've never let me down <3.

I've used these for a year now and still have found no better alternative. Best pens I've ever used for a good price. Writing is smooth and easy, ink dries quickly and colour doesn't fade. The grip is comfortable and build quality is good. I use these for note-taking and general writing tasks, but these are perfect for pretty much everything!

I just love these pens and am so disappointed when I have to write with anything else that I keep one of these in most rooms in the house. As with all pens, some seem to disappear occasionally (my wife is my favourite suspect!), so I buy a box full every couple of years to ensure a continuous supply. These pens are just superb!

I use these pens for university and work and they are very good. They have the ideal shape to grip the pen and do not bleed through pages or smudge. They have thin tips so this assists with legibility. However, I've found they do not last as long as similar pens. This is good value for money for these pens.

How hard can it be to buy a half decent ball-point pen ?I'm a crossword addict and write, sometimes, at odd angles.These pens are just perfect. Good grip. Write on almost any surface and, more importantly, write almost upside down.Excellent value product. I shall soon be ordering another dozen.
