At 6'-4", 305# with a 34" inseam and a large bone structure/frame wrapped in average mix of runner/strength training muscle wrapped in a typical aging ex-jock who got back into working out 8 months ago amount of fat, the 3X fit as expected. IF you are looking for something that fits like a second skin with some light to moderate compression but not so tight they're hard to get on. i.e. for me and my bod they fit as I hoped they would. As an ex HS/Collegiate long ago wrestler they fit about the same as the tights I wore for that sport but a little looser than the football uniform if you have experience with either of those. If you're looking for that nth level of compression then the 2X if you happened to be my body shape would be the better option. The 4x would be too big.Quality is on par with my other UA gear bought in the last couple of years.

Under Armour Cold Gear leggings for my 74 year old father for walking the dogs with me, and winter in general. Totally converted him last year with a base layer, and now my older parents wouldn't live without these. Tried every base layer in the book as I work outdoors. Merino wool, synthetics etc. Under Armour wins hands down when it comes to sportswear. They are light years ahead of the other brands out there. Very very happy parents, and at £14 a pair, may as well get a few. Never buy anything else. These are the best outdoor product by far. I have purchased stuff for 3 times the amount of these retail, and they don't hold up a candle to this gear. Got so much UA gear now it is unreal.Baselayers for £10 or less in some cases. Builders, Gardeners, anyone who works outdoors, buy these. Best investment ever.

Great for moderately cold weather(35-48 degree),fairly active day and as a base for colder days with low activity. It fits as expected and, for me, the compression seems to support muscles help with fatigue. Under Armour is my "go to" brand for cold weather undergarments. The 4 stars is because there is no fly. My older Cold Gear leggings have them. LISTEN UP UNDER ARMOUR! That "anatomically correct front pouch" houses equipment that, (in us older fellas) is used several times a day, especially when it's colder out. Not having easy access during the sudden urge is bothersome. My solution(no pun intended) is to machine sew a zig-zag seam in a narrow rectangle in front and cut inside the seam with a very sharp knife.Instant fly! Easy access! Seam prevents unraveling of fabric.

Very well made and fits close like compression garments are supposed to. Adds a nice layer of warmth. There is only one reason that I did not give it five stars, and that is because there is very stiff, paper/card stock label sewn right into the seam. This might seem petty, but if you cut the label, you are left with an even stiffer "stump", and if you try to take it out of the seam, you damage the garment. For a compression garment, why on earth did they put that label on the inside! It isn't even a label you would want to keep, it is just four inches of stiffness saying where it is made. It is uncomfortable enough that I don't know if I will purchase Under Armour again.Does anyone have any hints on getting this label out without damage to the garment?

Bought these for cold morning runs/sprints. Tested this morning at 2 degrees centigrade and my legs were perfectly warm the whole time, including on the 8-minute walk back.Comfy and very flexible. They are pretty long so for me (6ft) there is a v small bit on bunching at the ankles but I don't find this an issue at all as I either pull the bunching up towards the tops of my legs to guarantee easier movement, or I just push them over my ankles as much as I can if it's particularly cold. They wash easily on a Delicates at 30-degrees-c and after the first couple of washes, I haven't noticed anything going wrong.I plan to wear these under my normal trousers & jeans when out in particularly coldweather so bought an extra pair!

I work in Yellowstone National Park, spending 90% of my time working outdoors. I've used these in temperatures ranging from 45°F down to 0°F. Between 45° and 30° they maintain a pretty comfortable temperature no matter what you are doing. Between 30° and about 15° you have to stay pretty active to maintain the same level of comfort. Below 10° you still need to add a third layer to keep warm. They are not as worm as most long underwear, but if you are working in low temperatures, they don't get too hot. I think they would be great for hikers, joggers, or people who work quite a bit outdoors. Probably not so much if you want to sit outside when it's 20°.

Did not think I was a tights kind of guy, but these are comfortable, wear easily under jeans or other clothing and kept my legs from feeling the bitter cold wind when I was shoveling snow. A huge difference from the day before.Once I was out and working I basically forgot I was wearing them and just was much more comfortable. When I came in I found the bottom of my jeans had gotten soaked during all the work and I hadn't even noticed, the under leggings had kept my legs dry and warm even with the wet jeans over them.I haven't compared it to other products, there may be cheaper options, but these did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

Super comfortable, wish I had gotten for a smaller size tho. They seem extremely small when you first take a look but they’re meant to have a second skin like fit! Go for your true size (as you would when purchasing jeans etc) and you’ll be alright. It’s great for working out outdoors when it’s a little cold, and I found it really helps with perpetration as the groin area is a single mesh like material, the rest of the gear has double insulation, the stretchy material outside and then the cotton material on the inside (excluding groin area which is just mesh). All in all, great kit for those who prefer outdoor workouts in the colder seasons.

These are awesome. I've been running at 5:30am every weekday for the last two months in these and they manage to keep me warm when I'm starting out and don't overheat me when I'm 20+ minutes in.They are a bit risqué around the groin area where it turns into more of a mesh fabric... so I tend to where shorts over the top to protect my modesty!I was guided by the fitting guide from Under Amour's website and found them to be snug, but comfortable once you come to realise that these are supposed to be a close fitting set of leggings. Another great thing about these is that they dry REALLY quickly.

I ordered a size up, normally I'm a small but got medium cuz I was worried about it being too tight of compression based on the measurements given by UA themselves and other UA compression i have, but found them to be a little too big, still tight but not much compression, more form fitting as 1 size up. they are extremely comfortable and warm tho, I live in OC and use them under 60 degrees to keep my lower half warmer during runs and I love them, extremely comfortable even as a size up. Definitely buying another pair but will go back down to a small next time.

I'm a 5'7 male with a waist somewhere between 30-32 so I ordered the Medium size, and it fits really well! Just as one would expect a pair of compression leggings to fit, snug and comfortable. They do run a little long for me but that is not really a problem, I just fold them over. The leggings are super comfortable, and really warm! I wore them for a trail run today, in about 3degrees celsius wet weather, and I was really glad I was wearing them. If you are looking for something to help with running in cold weather, I would definitely recommend these leggings!

Bought a set for my husband to wear hunting in the mountains. The style was different and not sure he'd like as well. At first he felt too squeezed in, but the compression really did help his legs go further without cramping. They wick sweat well & hold warmth better than his more expensive set.Sadly it was on the third outing he realized there was NO FLY, forcing me to edit my original review and knock of a star. If he had done the edit, well, I think he would have taken off all of the stars!( I think I will try to add a fly.)

These cold gear leggings are for keeping warm training in cold conditions. The heat gear's are for keeping cool in warmer conditions.I cycle with these when it's really cold out and sometimes wear these in the gym, however sometimes these are so good at keeping you warm that I get too hot in them and have take them off to cool down! The material is nice on the skin and hugs my legs all the way down to my ankles. I'm 5.10" and they fit good, length wise, I do have some bunch up at my ankles so I guess it would fit guys to 6" too.

Excellent baselayer, but truly only for very cold conditions anything close to zero degrees or below- they are very very very warm. First time I wore them was 5 degrees and I cycled, was sweltering after 5 minutes at a fast pace. Outdoors walking or hiking all day in very cold weather or cycling in sub zero temps, they will be very comfortable. Im 6 foot 4, W32 and bought a medium fits very well. Would have liked /tighter or stronger compression, for that, and for any temps above zero will need a skins A400 long tights I think.

I was given a ticket to a December NFL evening game in NJ, and it gets cold at the stadium. So a friend recommended these UA ColdGear Compression leggings instead of using traditional long johns, and I admit I was skeptical, but these were amazing! My legs never got cold, and they never got too warm either. They molded to my legs so well that I hardly even remembered that I was wearing them.My only complaint is the cost - I bought them on sale on Cyber Monday, and probably would not have at the normal price.
