You'd be hard pushed to find shorts that perform as well as these for the same price elsewhere. Firstly they are incredibly lightweight, with stretchy material that reacts to your bodies movement really well. They dont impede your movement in any way, or ride up your waist. They are really comfortable as well, and as they are so light you forget your wearing them. They fit really well nice length just above the knee, and there's no excess material that sticks out on your hips so they look really smart as well. Finally the material is thin so I was expecting it to get staticy and stick to my legs but that's not happened yet, so that's great. The pockets on either side are nice and deep but not excessively,so phone, keys etc will stay put while walking around, but wouldn't recommend working out with them in.Just a few other things to mention. Firstly the materials thin so wouldn't recommend wearing them as swimwear, the material might not be the most durable as well so could potentially tear on a thorn or something if caught. Finally the waistband elastic feels a little tight occassionally, my waist is relatively small so less slender fellows may find them uncomfortable. But other than those niggles there fantastic lightweight functional shorts that perform fantastically and can be used for all sports.

These Under Armour sports shorts are excellent; lightweight, comfortable, breathable and with an elasticated waist band, these shorts are perfect for wearing during exercise, as well as clean and simple enough to not stand out if just wearing casually. The fit is spot on for most people, and if you're unsure, chances are that the elasticated waistband will accommodate enough variance that you could go for the usual short size you wear and they will still will fit well.Due to the material being 100% polyester, these shorts are lightweight, decently soft and dry very quickly, which is handy if you're normally always waiting for things to dry. There are also two very deep pockets, which can fit your entire hand, along with a wallet and keys, and due to being a thin netting material, when they are not in use, you wouldn't even know they're there as they sit flush to your leg. However, due to the pockets only being connected at the top, if you have anything relatively heavy in your pockets, it will poke out the bottom of the shorts if you're sitting/squatting, as the shorts will ride up with your movement whilst the pockets will remain still.

Needed a good pair of gym shorts, so good I even bough two!Very thin shorts, you can hold them up to the light and see through them, this allows you not to get too hot while working out which is why both front pockets are netted and not solid. I also find this a great place to attach my gym key instead of attaching it to the fabric making holes everywhere. The pockets are deep enough to fit your whole hand into, I use it for my iPhone 6 which doesn't fall out and stays put. The waist is elasticated with a lace tie although I never need it as the elasticated band is comfortable enough without fear of them falling down. They look great with the Under Armour written at the back, they come down to above my knees and are worth the money I paid. My first pair have started to bobble after a year's use but I do use them all the time and now even play football in them. Best gym shorts I have used I can highly recommend them.I hope this review has been of some use, any questions please ask

As long as you get the correct fit the under armour products are great. My husband is usually an xxl in most shirts 46/48" chest (not designer where 36/38 is xxl) and 40 " waist. Initially I thought the fabric would cling but these fit him really well, loose enough not to cling but not look too big and baggy either. Under armour products are great in that they cater not just for the Mr Atlases of the modern world but also for the the everyday man who has more of a barrel than a six pack! They fit comfortably, are a good length not too long not too short. These hold the sweat away from the body. They wash well, although I have followed care labels where it says not to use fabric softener and at a low temp of 30.I tend to wash them separately (all his under armour together) which probably isn't the most economical way but the safest way. Can smell a little if left too long without washing. Come in lots of different lengths and colours too which if you are taller or shorter is useful.

I've gone through three pairs of 'cheap' Karrimor shorts from Sports Direct while doing squats in the gym. I say 'cheap' because at over £12 a pair they're not cheap in price, only in quality. Usually, they tear along the seams from the pressure of squatting because there's no flexibility in them. These Under Armour shorts are superb in the same environment. They're baggy and roomy, but most importantly they're made from a flexible material that stretches when they're put under pressure. I'm 5'8" with a 34" waist and the L size fit perfectly while affording me plenty of free movement. The shorts reach down to just above my kneecap. The net pockets are very deep, a bit too deep really,as anything placed in them ends up at the bottom of your thigh, just above the knee. I would have preferred to have an internal net brief too, as I like to train without underwear, but the legs are sufficiently long to prevent any 'fallout' in public.

Husband loves under armour products for their comfort and breathing qualities when exercising. I’m going to start with a negative on my part, if they are used and hold sweat as with any under armour he has, they smell when damp and need washed straight away! However, I must admit they do wash well, although they are a cooler wash than most clothes and therefore I usually wash all under armour together in one wash. If you hang out properly you can generally get away without ironing! Husband (depending on which short style) is a xl/xxl, he is a 40” waist. He likes the length of these not too short but not too long or baggy. The grey is a nice alternative to black or navy which he normally buys to go with all the bright t shirts he has, although he does have a dark green as well. They fit well, light weight, easy to pack and wash well what more could you ask.

As with all under armour products this doesn't disappoint. I have bought lots of this make all here on Amazon as unless you get a good sale price in the sports shops this site is the best for choice of colour, size and price. Have bought several shorts and t shirts for husband now buying for son. He is about 5'11 and usually wears a 34" waist. Ordered a large and they fit him very comfortably. He doesn't like shorts to be too short and these are just right a few inches above the knee not on his thigh. Bought black pair and a navy pair that way he can wear lots of different coloured tops. As with all under armour they are great for the gym but also for running as they are so light weight. They have the logo on the bottom of the shorts but it is not over the top. Son very pleased so am I.

I do like UA gear. I bought the shorts to use as gym gear (along with a few Under Armour Men's UA Tech Short Sleeve Shirt - Black/White, X-Large), and they are extremely light to wear. I normally wear basketball shorts, so these feel quite small by comparison, but that's more what I am used to wearing as opposed to the fit. They wash well & dry in no time - my only concern is the back logo-ed part of the waistband. It's elasticated in the same way that the Storm tracksuit bottoms are, and I have a pair of them for a few years now where that part of the band has become slightly warped through washing and use. Even taking this into consideration (I paid £12 each for 2 pairs of these shorts),so if I got a year or two out of using them in rotation, I would be delighted.

These Under Armour shorts are a fair price and great quality for running and general gym usage. The shorts are reasonably 'loose fit', which is perfect for squats, stretching and all the other exercises that you'd be a bit cautious doing in a pair of short shorts. The shorts do come with an elastic waistband and pull strings, meaning you get the benefit of the loose fit without them falling downThe only problem I have with the shorts is that the pockets are made of a white mesh-like material. As a result the pockets are very deep and far too large. Anything you put in them is subject to a lot of movement if you're running, but this isn't a problem at all if you're at the gym or running 'light'.Overall, you can't go wrong with these for the quality and price

These are excellent and great value: I bought these as a 36 - 37" waist (I'm 6' tall) and got XL. They fitted perfectly and were tight around the waist however my big posterior and legs (earned through years of playing rugby) had plenty of room. I've now lost a couple of inches around the waist and they still fit well. They are nicely baggy and long and whilst the material feels thin, they didn't stick to my legs (through static) like I thought they would. I bought these as a friend who is serving in the Army recommended them, explaining that Under Armour is the brand of choice for when they buy their own gear to compliment their issued kit (vests, boxers etc). Would buy again.

I like these shorts... They are a great length, they look good, easy to move in... The only bug I have about them is that I feel the elastic on the waistband is too tight. There's plenty of give in the elastic and I'm quite a slim build but it can feel a little constricting around the waist. I think it will take a bit of time for the elastic to relax a bit. Apart from that then the shorts are great, I like the deep pockets perfect for tennis. Overall they are a comfortable short to wear while they are slightly more expensive than other manufacturers, the quality you get for your money is worth it.

I bought these predominantly for the gym, so wanted something comfortable and reasonably loose for cardio based exercise.I'm on the cusp of L and XL, so took the risk that these XL would fit ... and rely on the drawstring to take up any slack. There is a nice wide elasticated waste band, and a deep (logo'd) elastic back, which does a good job at catching sweat from a vigorous work out.The material feels nice, they are not lined, and the 2 mesh pockets are perfect for a few tissues ... but wouldn't want to put anything heavy in.Reasonably easy care ... wash at 30 and hang to dry.

Well, it's Under Armour and Under Armour never fails to impress me. Iv had these shorts for over a week now and they are very comfy. Playing basketball with them has enhanced my performance (atleast I think!). I wear these shorts on top of the Under Armour Heat Gear leggings which looks rather athletic. These shorts have quite deep pockets so if you like to carry your phone around with you without it falling out during light workouts, then these shorts are definitely for you.Summary: -Very comfy- Deep pockets- Flexible for all kinds of sports- Incredible is quality.

Incredible comfy sports shorts. I use this for the gym, tennis and badminton and always find them very comfy and not restrictive. Only issue I have is that if you have your phone in your pocket (I have mine in my pocket at the gym) that the pocket comes out below the bottom of the shorts due to the weight. They have lasted well after a lot of washes and use and still feel like they have a lot of life left in them.Besides the slight annoyance of the pocket (and the reason these shorts are 4* not 5*!) I would highly recommend these shorts.

23.7.2018

Really superb shorts. Lightweight, loose fitting shorts with substantial pockets on each leg. The material feels high quality and is excellent at wicking away sweat when working out - further aided by the looser fit. Really can’t knock these shorts in the slightest! I use themfor everything from running, Olympic lifting, ordinary gym exercises to just relaxing in at home. Excellent quality for the price and definitely worth spending a few pounds more for these rather than save some money but settle for inferior quality.
