Firstly I won't be saying anything that isn't already covered in other reviews. These stands are built very tough and can take punishment. The air assist works well. It lifts my 15 kg JBL EON 515xt without any effort on my part and my heavier speakers need a bit more effort. But certainly better then getting up on a chair. There's also more than plenty of height and it's super sturdy. I will mention that it's true that the lowest height is higher than standard stands and you will have to lift your speakers above your chest to get them on, especially since most speakers need the extra top silver adapter. The price also isn't cheap so I understand those who hesitate.

These speaker stands are a fantastic bit of kit. Our heavy Ev speakers were a nightmare to lift onto other fixed height stands. But now we`re only having to lift speakers 4 foot onto these hydraulic stands, turn the knob and the stand slowly eases the speaker up to a height of 6/7 foot. To lower the speaker to 4 foot high just undo the knob and pull gently downwards until back at the starting position. It`s a doddle and I can lift and lower the speakers without any effort !

Excellent stands. Very happy I thoroughly researched P.A. speaker stands otherwise I would not have stumbled across these. Excellent quality as expected from Ultimate Support and the product itself is so easy to use, it's a wonder this idea wasn't implemented decades ago.Recommended.
