I have played each and every game in the Total War series ever since Shogun was released all those years ago.I can safely say this is probably the best game I have ever played.What's so good about it?Well, there is the Vortex campaign option that offers something completely new and challenging. The AI is exceptionally smart and I am always taken aback by how well the game represents this. Fight against some low level Orc general and they will charge straight at you. Fight a top level general at the top of his or her game and you are sure to have a tough fight.Alliances are exactly that. If you go out of your way to build strong alliances, they generally last the test of time.

This game is brilliant on so many levels, I just love this series. I am really liking the concept of High and Dark Elves being in the same world and the empire building is just as sophisticated as the first game. I am so into this series now, even though I held back first since I wasn't too sure how Total War and Warhammer could mash up together and create a decent strategy game. But I'm glad I was wrong, because this game and the previous are fantastic and deserve being in the TOP 10 best strategy games of 2016 and 2017.

Fantastic game, they did certainly learn a thing or two from the previous game and improved upon it! Mod friendly if you get bored of the vanilla version! Would recommend to anyone to has interest in strategy games!Can’t wait to see what DLCs they’ll add into the game and see how they complete the trilogy!

Great addition to the Total War series. This expands on the first Warhammer game and has some great new races and an interesting twist in the game play. You also get the Mortal Empires game which mashes Warmmaer 1 &2 together on to one huge map. This makes it great value and hundreds of hours of game play.

Can't shift my teenage son from the laptop now...so I guess that means this game was a massive hit. Can't comment on gaming aspects - I am not allowed to use it!

Bought this as a gift for my Boyfriend and he spends every day on it, really enjoying every minute so it's a good gift.
