We played this with a large age range 11yrs- 76yrs. I have to say we all enjoyed it but it only takes one person to not pay full attention to change the results. Our 3 children (11 and 13yrs) coped fantastically, the not paying attention honour went to my Dad who failed to answer or ask relevant questions which meant we lost important information. If you have someone who you feel won't concentrate properly then I recomend they have one of the non essential roles. It was just unfortunate that the Eccentric Artist was written for one of our boys!!!Great fun have previously done Inspector McClue and would do others again. If you do this with children it may be worth mentioning that the characters they are playing may have had affairs with inappropriate people (

We had a great night. 8 played on New years eve. I sent out the invites together with a copy of the rules and their character a week before.. Everyone entered into the spirit of the evening, taking on their character from the moment they arrived . The game started properly when we sat down for dinner. The Inspector McClue CD fitted in very well between courses and the game took between two and half to three hours to play .My guests who were all over sixty found it wonderful fun and a fantastic way to end 2015. I think these games only really work if everyone makes an effort to get into character.

Delivered quickly as I have come to expect from Amazon. I have not tried organising a murder mystery before - the party planner booklet is very helpful and the box set comes with invitations, envelopes, placesettings and everything you need to play to game. The murder mystery in itself was quite complicated and although we read out all the clues and evidence - noone guessed right. The accent on the accompanying CD is a bit dodgy as well.All in all though good fun and very reasonably priced I thought.

We were looking for a fun thing to do with another family for New Years Eve, which would include 4 children aged between 11-15 yrs. A friend recommended a murder mystery dinner party and we were not disappointed. I chose the Red Roses based upon previous reviews, and although looking back the murderer was fairly obvious; the game worked brilliantly, especially considering that the youngest turned out to be the murderer but was able to play the part to the end.

This is the second murder mystery party we've held, also did 'the Brie, the Bullet and the Black Cat' which was a lot better, although this may have been because there were more people.This game didn't seem as easy-flowing as the other one. I'd still recommend it for a good night in with a few pairs of friends! You get out what you put in for these games in my opinion

The Red Rose Murders provide a good opportunity for dressing the part and overacting while eating a three course meal. Full instructions for the evening are provided with suggestions for costumes, food and music. The more you and your guests put in, the more fun you will get out of it.

This was a great buy. Having never done one before I would defiantly do one again. Had all the instructions and guild lines and very helpful. I went all out with costume and decorations. Made my own menus. Highly recomend getting this and making the effort for the night.

The Red Rose Murders was fun to take part in. This was the first one that my family and I had tried and it is cleverly done. You do need people who are willing to get into the swing of things though to make it fun. I would recommend this murder mystery to others.

Great characters, good mystery, fun lines and interesting secrets and clues plus over the top costumes ensure this was a great evening.As a lover of these games this one didn't let us down and would recommend to everyone.

We had a very fun evening with this game, the best yet of maybe 6 we have tried - it actually made more sense than previous ones as there weren't too many silly leads which led nowhere at all. Loadsa fun!

Have played a previous game of same brand. Wasn’t disappointed. Bought for teenagers birthday party and they LOVED every second.Loaded the disc to the computer so it could be played on their phone.

Not the best one I've bought but I love these mystery games anyway!I foundit more difficult to work out but by then I had had 2 margueritas!!

Arrived on schedule. Cheapest price around. Good description given for the game.Can't wait to play it with friends. Recommended to my family.

Works well with just six taking part - especially if everyone dresses up and plays their part - we were laughing all the way!
